[Q] Nexus 4 - same gmail account for 2 devices - both active in Talk?

Hi everyone,
So after having 2 nexus 4, each one with a different gmail account AND with a shared gmail account, I see that the 2 devices can use the shared account to use the TALK service.
I've tried to disable the shared account from the TALK service, but I can only find a way to add accounts, not to remove them (unless you remove the whole account from the device).
Am I wrong or this is the current situation??

Talk will display all Google accounts on the device, but you can simply sign out of the accounts you don't want to use.

[Q] Exchange Sync / public contacts

i set up syncing our exchange server. back in the days with my htc sensation it synced only my private contacts. the s4 synced all public contacts. now i have like 8000 contacts on my phone. how to get rid of them and sync only my private contacts of the exchange server?

it seems like, it is only possible to sync all folders.

i tried to use the workaround, but the whatsapp sync already used all phone numbers, so i also have like 1000 new whatsapp contacts, i even never seen in my life....
the next problem is, the contacts may be hidden, but if you try to find a contact in the phone app, the hidden contacts by groups won't be hidden and it's nearly impossible to find a contact very fast.
that "feature" is really disappointing. i also don't know what to do now? should i start deleting contacts? i'm affraid the sync will delete them in our exchange server. but how to delete them only in whatsapp?

my solution:
- stop sync with exchange
- clear whatsapp data / cache
- delete all exchange contacts with kies
- send all contacts from my old htc phone to the s4

[Q] Gmail Contacts Issue!!!!!!

Hello to everyone!!
I am facing a problem lately with my S4!
i have 2 android phones linked with one Gmail account.
The problem is that when I do a change on my contacts, this change will not sync to the other phone and to the Gmail contacts account!!!
And the change will come back as it was after some minutes!!
Can anyone help me!!?!!?
P.S
When I do a change from Gmail Contact on my account through web browser everything works perfect!!

[Q] Contacts is just being stupid?

Hi all,
So is the Contacts app on Android just stupid? It looks like "linking" contacts together does NOT share their information with the respective sync accounts.
If I add a new contact on my phone called Nigel with his phone number, only to later on receive an email from him via Gmail and link the the two contacts together, their information is NOT synced?
Now that I am on my Note 3 none of my contacts added this way have phone numbers...
Complete BS and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to deal with this, or is there?

That's how they have always worked for me across my HTC devices and Note 3.

[Q] Extremely difficult to manage contacts on Note 3 !!!

I am using Note 3 for past few days, and it is becoming difficult to manage my contacts in 1 place.
I use many social applications like whatsapp, chaton, fb, twitter etc. and keep receiving new contacts from those places.
Also, keep adding new contacts manually or via different email applications (inbuilt email or directly opening emails via browser firefox/chrome).
Problem:
I want to keep all my contacts centrally in 1 place.. so I do not loose them.
Examples:
I added 2 contacts directly via whatsapp today someone shared the contact, after adding same to my contacts. 1 of them got added to my google account other did not, it got added to device.
Same happens when adding contacts via email addresses or social media apps.
Please guide your share your expertise, i am sure, I am not able to see things properly.

I have few accounts, list in order displayed on phone.
Device - 0 contacts
Sim card - 0 contacts
Whatsapp - (few contacts who use whatsapp are displayed here.. All contacts are present in google account)
google ([email protected]) (I have all my contacts stored in this account) (around 450 contacts here in different groups)
Exchange account ([email protected] this is primary/default email) There are many contacts here, which I dont want to add/merge to my phone, as this are business contacts and I only use them mostly for email. Many of this contacts also have phone numbers national/international both
Samsung ([email protected] using same exchange email id) Not sure how many contacts this has.
Facebook (More then 1500+ friends/relatives/business people here) Many of this friends are already present in my google account. I dont want to merge this data with my proper list.. as I never communicate with this friends on phone..)
Now.. when anyone sends me a contact via whatsapp or any other above accounts, it gets added to device or respective accounts only.. which troubles a lot..
I also want to sync only photos of people who are listed in gmail account (not all facebook contacts).
But next time, when I will do flash my rom.. it will disappear again !
Please help.. hope I am able to frame the question/problem properly..
Since I last upgraded to lollipop, all the photos I had for contacts are lost (as google does not syncs photos on gmail or google people)
