Pink Galaxy Note 3 N9005 Unboxing works on AT&T - AT&T Galaxy Note 3 General

For those that are thinking of getting the Blush Pink Galaxy Note 3 N9005, here is a quick video and overview. Also I ran the quadrant to see how it compared to the AT&T version of the Note 3.
The N9005 is a LTE version, keep in mind that the LTE will not work with LTE but works with H+ 4G speeds on AT&T.

Here is a direct link, seems that if you try to view on mobile device it doesn't work. http://youtu.be/egUnXFJXPEE

It's a shame this didn't make it to AT&T as my wife would have loved it. Also, and I'm sure this has been said, but I'm super disappointed that we don't get the ear buds or sweet wood grain box on AT&T. Thanks for the video.

Sure would love to know how this is performed less it's only for the blush pink version of the N9005!

Since T-Mobile will be launching lte

Will the nexus 4 be able to get it ?
Actually I set up the new lte APN
I forgot where i got it from but
I went into phone info
(*#*#4636#*#*)
And took the lte setting.
I did this bc I'm in a testing city(NYC)
I noticed a slight increase in data speed.
But can anyone confirm this

Anyone in NYC ?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Changing the network mode is not changing the APN. You need to go to APN settings and change the name to fast.tmobile.com and the APN protocol to IPv4/IPv6 and save it. Then do speed tests to confirm if you're getting LTE.
T-Mobile users have reported getting LTE in NYC but the network kicks them off about 15 mins later.
Yes the Nexus 4 will receive LTE.
APN setting can be found at Settings/More/Mobile networks/Access point names
Don't forget to be on a .33 or lower radio

By speed alone, nope. I've personally seen 25 down and 3 or so up on HSPA+.
No. When you go to results it should say LTE as your network. Your icon on top should say 4G too.

Hi eddy, could you clarify this? I was under the impression that the Nexus 4 doesn't have an LTE radio or something and every review video I watch says that "no LTE" is a downside along with the no microSD card and removable battery.
Are you saying that there will be a Nexus 4 LTE version released soon? (This is all for Tmobile btw)

No no there won't be an LTE Nexus 4. The Nexus 4 is already LTE, but you must be on android 4.2.1 or have root. Correct that there is no expandable memory or removable battery. Most reviews say that it doesn't have LTE either because they made the review before it was discovered or simply chose not to say because its not official and The N4 only supports carriers with LTE that have band 4 and that is only a few (T-Mobile and some Canadian carriers).

For LTE, you can have the newest version of Android, but you must flash an older radio that still had LTE enabled. Then, you need to do what other people suggested, change your APN and radio settings.
Honestly I think HSPA+ is quite fast already. LTE is faster but do you really really really need it? It's cool to have and all. Most folks don't even know what LTE is or what it stands for. They just think "Oh it's super fast! I can download cat videos at super speeds!"

I found this post funny because your avatar is Jerry the mouse :good::laugh:
But LTE is just another feature that tmo released. Nothing more than faster speeds and faster killing of your battery on LTE. LOL
I am content with HSPA+ for downloads but LTE would come in handy for uploads which are quite slow on HSPA+.

Oh gotcha thanks. Yeah that's really cool for Tmobile customers I guess since it may future proof the device a little bit more now that TMobile is getting ready to roll out their LTE sometime in the next year. (or few months if what they claim is truth)

They're already rolling LTE as we are speaking. We should see more cities with LTE by the end of this year. They won't stop until the cover the whole country. AT&T, Sprint and Verizon are still rolling out LTE. Lol

Nexus 4 and LTE Questions

Alright. So today my nexus 4 came in, and from I've read the Nexus 4 can do band 4 4G. Which from what I've heard isn't supported very much in the united States. Is this even worth me trying to get working?
If it is how hard and reliable is it for me to try this?
I am on T-Mobile and I live in Oklahoma city.

It's easy to do and very worth it.
Because you got your phone today, root it now so you don't lose any data when you unlock the bootloader.
You will have probably updated to the latest version of Android, so once you have CWM or another custom recovery, flash an older, compatible radio and then do the T-Mobile fix. This will give you working LTE on the stock ROM.
There are tons of threads out there to help you out, including this one (previously mentioned) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2211618, this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2233319, and this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2147325

I expect that they are the same or similar.
Thank you for the info.
Can't give you a difinitive answer one way or the other, but I notice that the one on the bell website is missing the ear speaker that my n5100 has. (It's a little silver strip of a speaker just above the samsung logo on the front) Not sure if this means it won't have the phone dialer etc., but it does mean that if you can make phone calls with it, they would have to be over a headset or on speakerphone. I can confirm that my n5100 with a bell sim can make phone calls just like a big (massive) phone.

I believe that the Bell and Tellus models use the same frequencies as the USA AT&T models, which have the phone app and speaker removed. If you want telephony capability, make sure you get the N5100, which will run HPSA but not LTE. The phone is readily available on Amazon and Ebay.

Yes the n5100 is wifi and 3g, the n5110 is wifi only, and the note n5120 is the lte 4g model. Ive just got my note 8 5100 im using it on vodaphone uk and im loving it. It does give me hand ache on long calls from stretching my hand to hold the phone, but i dont make that many calls. Its great being able to do everything with one device im LOVIN this tablet/massive phone!

Im not 100% on this but im guessing the note 8 5120 lte/4g, supports calls just like the 3g version (n5100). With the note 2 there are 2 different versions a 3g note2 and a 4g lte note2 on the EE network... correct me if im wrong and it might vary in different countries im in the uk. But im guessing its the same with the note 8. A 3g version with calls (n5100), a wifi version(n5110), and a 4g version with calls(n5120)

I can't answer definitively about what model Tellus or Bell sells, but the sgh i467 (ATT's LTE Note 8) definitely does not have telephony capability. I've seen it, and it does not make phone calls natively.

Ok the n5120 has telephony and LTE. The OP is specifically interested in Canada. I'm pretty sure- correct me if I'm wrong, the n5120's bands are not optimized for the USA. Are you saying that it will work well (LTE and HDSPA speeds) in Canada?

Lte will not work, so save your money and get 3g version. Also Canadian model traditionaly is att + M (note my signature) , otherwise identical, so I guess any if Canadian providers will sell you lte data tab only.

Lte-a is just faster LTE, hence the a means advanced. Verizon hasnt turned it on yet, but luckily it shouldn't be that much longer because they dont have to modify any current towers to use it.

That's because the s3 is able to use 3G and calling at the same time. The S4 doesn't have the hardware for it. Since you say you have 4G in your area, when you make a call are you connected to 4G or 3G?

Well all I can tell you is it works great. I just tested it, my phone was showing LTE, I placed a call, and when I was on the call I opened up internet and surfed a couple of pages, ran a speed test, and surfed facebook. So it is definitely something you are doing. You mention you are rooted, did you install a custom rom, which one? Your S3 had SVDO chip which allowed simultaneous data(3g) and voice. Sprint or Samsung got cheap and didn't include SVDO with the S4 because they hoped LTE would be more widespread by the time the phone was sold.

Double-check in your settings what mobile networks the phone can use. Specifically, make sure it's showing both CDMA AND LTE, and not just CDMA. For some reason, some ROMs default to just CDMA.
