[Q] How to Root N900 Exynos the Safest Way Possible?

Hi all, I just got my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and it's N900 Exynos version. I was wondering how to root my phone in the safest way possible. I read some thread in the forum and they say that the N900 Exynos doesn't have KNOX, but in my phone there's a KNOX app. Will the KNOX not triggered if I root my phone with CF Root? Or is there another way?
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks before

When I go to Download mode/Odin Mode I got:
PRODUCT NAME: SM-N900
CURRENT BINARY: SAMSUNG OFFICIAL
SYSTEM STATUS: OFFICIAL
Does this mean I don't have KNOX and it's safe to root using CF Root?

[Q] Backup EFS

Need your advice please.
On my previous phone GS3 I was able to backup my EFS without root the equipment.
After searching didn´t found any solution to Note 3 to backup EFS without root the equipment.
Is this true or I didn´t search enough?
Do you know any solution to backup Note 3 EFS without root?
Thanks for your support.
1- So far I know, you cannot backup EFS without root permission.
2- If your phone has not been rooted, there is no reason to backup EFS folder Because you cannot mess it up. Once you have rooted, you will backup immediately.
Okay but even with official firmware there is some risk.
Thanks for your reply.

official firmware won't mess your EFS folder, as long as you flash the correct firmware for your device. But if you flash other device firmware onto your device, it will be different story.
backup EFS is strongly advised when you rooted your device, and you want to play around with the system / partition / ROM / kernel / and other things which dealing with system and partition.
Yes you are talking on some, lets say extreme situations, but to prevents surprises even in stock firmware why not backup EFS!
On my previous GS3 even not root I was able to backup EFS without root.

This is due to Samsung policy.
For example in my app Phone INFO ★Samsung★ >> USAGE HISTORY, it needs root to read the Charger Connect Counter on Galaxy Note 3, but on Galaxy S5 you can read this counter without root access.
So your opinion is that if I flash stock firmware should be okay?
Asking this because my phone bought in Portugal has firmware from Slovakia and I believe there is newer versions from other countries.

If you don´t flash lower version Andorid (you can´not due to Knox ) it will be OK
No talking about the available versions of 4.4.2

Should be ok, except for Hong Kong version.

So after searching a lot seems that the only option to backup my EFS it to root my Note 3.
Strange thing because on my previous GS3 don´t need root to back up EFS.
Different equipment’s, different things. Okay.
I don´t need root on my Note 3. I am pretty satisfied with my Note 3 performance.
Will you root your Note 3 just to be able to backup EFS?
Bad things can happened and even thinking in just flashing stock firmware I would be more serene having EFS files just in case anything goes wrong!
As I have said, it is due to Samsung's policy.

Ok. I understand.
But tell me your opinion: if you don´t need root will you root Note 3 just to be able to backup EFS files?

I don't think my opinion is useful for you Because I always root my Android phone right after 1 week after purchasing.
Ok let's say root and backup EFS folder. My opinion is if you don't have root access, there is no chance to disturb the EFS folder, so no need to root.
But if you root, you can do many powerful things with your phone, not only to backup EFS folder.
You better see this topic about Pros and cons of a rooted Note 3 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2547606
I understand your point but my Note 3 is okay this way. I am not a heavy user so don´t need to flash custom firmware and have a custom kernel to improve my Note 3.
If I have 100% certain that flashing only stock firmware will never mess with EFS I will not consider root it but….

Kitkat SD Card patch and Titanium backup will not and cannot
change the status of Knox so Knox will remain unaffected. (0x0)
So you can use either one or both without tripping knox.
Good luck!
Thank you very much.
Now can i ask how i can do a Nandroid backup using titanium backup?

someone know how to back knox?
