Hello,
I'm using the i9505 with a Google Edition ROM, how can I enable or what do I need to change to show H and H+ icons according to the network I'm connected to instead of just "H"?

From what I have read, its not the icon (or changing of) that is the issue, its the fact that GE roms don't differentiate between H and H+ so don't display an H+ icon.
visually no but the rom does see the difference, you can see that in "about phone" and other apps

In TW it is a embedded feature, maybe in GE rom not, you have to modify a xml file in systemUI to make it work, ask in your ROM thread to developer

I looked around but didn't see anything yet. Does anyone know if there are any hacks for AT&T stock rooted odex ROM to get rid of WiFi notifications?
I'd like to get rid of the "Wi-Fi Connected" message in my pull-down notifications list.
And also want it to stop telling me there are open WiFi networks available.

Agreed, but it's de-odex and the only good themes available right now are for odex.

For the "open Wifi networks notification", go to wifi, press menu, select advanced, and uncheck the first box labeled "Network notification." I also unchecked the AT&T hotspots and check for internet service boxes. Getting rid of the pull-down persistent notification seems to require a lot more work.
Why there's so much gap between the data icon and vibrate icon in the statusbar ??

there is many reasons :
1- this space is for something else Wi-Fi icon or any thing
2-Bug in the status bar
3- the status bar is designed to be like this

It is a design fault in that icon.
Use other icon.
To get old ROM icons flash ROM again (Do not wipe data if you want to preserve data).
Or restore NANDroid backup of that ROM if created.
Press Thanks if helped.

One solution would be flashing xposed and using something like Flatstyle Status Bar. That's what I used to rearrange the awful default status bar. I don't have the option to root so I'm stuck. I'm sure there are other methods.
Why do u want ur phone to ****! u already have stock google ui which ever geek loves...Get out of ur phone there is also a wonderful world.
Can't find LTE icon in Notification drawer, or even the option to add it; I used to have the option to add it in the past!

When u use WiFi, no icon will appear. You must deactivate WiFi first.

Did you enabled LTE band in data settings? Which rom you use? Any themes or mods?

If your rooted, and install a rom with substratum support, then sure there are stock based and custom ROMs with this functionality.

I think he meant the tiny arrows left of the signal bar.
Those can't be disabled on the official stock ROM.

Yeah, this is what I meant probably could've been more clear but thanks anyway for all the help everyone. It doesn't bother me enough to bother switching rom to get rid of it.
you can disable it by using OZONE Substratum theme : https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/themes/v3-1-ozone-substratum-module-oos-t3627336 and choose remove network indicators
