[Q] [VZW] Will bootloader bypass be good for kitkat based ROMs - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hope everybody is enjoying the ASOP based custom roms on their Verizon LG G2.
Just had a question, will the bootloader bypass be good for Kitkat based ROM roms once they start coming out in the next few weeks.
I would really love to have CARBON KitKat once its out.

Is there a Official KitKat ROM for the G2?

Is there anyone working on the official LG KitKat? I know we have some 4.4 roms, but I like all of the "features" and polished-ness of the stock or near stock OS. I am running Digital Dream right now and loving it. I heard that Korea has an LG 4.4 rom... just curious thats all.
Yes there is....
LG is working on a stock 4.4 kk ROM
Apple.... just eat..!!!

Is there a stock AOSP kitkat rom that has no features just clean?

I want to know if there is a stock untouched aosp kitkat rom just like the nexus 5 stock kitkat rom?
i do not mean CM or PA or any of those just clean stock rom
Whenever Houston started building his PA builds ages ago, they were pure stock, but there really isn't any pure AOSP ROM's atm. I tried porting a N5 pure stock ROM to the G2, but i couldn't get it booting And it is not a problem of hardware, i have made Galaxy Note 1 ROM's run on my G2 ok

Best ROM for the (hltevzw) Verizon Developer Edition

I have a
(hltevzw) Verizon Developer Edition phone
I don't know what roms run good on it and which ones I can flash without locking my device.
Right now I'm running an old build of the dirty unions rom and its a little buggy.
Anyone still have this device that can point me to a good running rom?
I don't care if its kitkat or lollipop or even if its touchwise at this point just as long as it does not lock it down.
Thank You,
Corey

Best ROM for pure AOSP (Nexus-like) experience

I'm currently using a Nexus 6P and love the "pure" Android environment it offers.
I'm also reviving my S5 and would like to know which Marshmallow, non-TW ROM would give me closest thing to that experience.
My S5 is currently on NK2, and rooted with an unlocked bootloader.
Thanks
You can try CM

Best stock modified rom

Hello Friends...
I have a s4 i9505 and am not new to samsung as i already own a i9301I....
I want to ask which one is the most stable rom of all for the i9505...
I dont want any noughat rom..
Just A Simple stock modified or some Marshmallow with the latest feature...
Already seen many Roms on the youtube. some are s7 roms and some n5 etc.
Any suggestion for a rom that is smooth as well as Battery Friendly!!
Thanks.
The S4 never got a stock Marshmallow update. So you're stuck with Lollipop ROMs that look a bit like the S6 or not.

I am currently on the stock 4.4.2 and want to switch to a rom that doesnot loose the stock features and i am also not been able to update to 5.0... so now i will try and root my device and then try any stock modified roms...
if u have any suggestions then u r welcome to tell!!!
but the one with the best batterylife will b much appreciated!!
While I don't generally reply to "best ROM" posts, I can tell you that all the stock-based ROMs with I believe the exception of Imperium ROM are no longer supported. Since I'm not interested in keeping my S4 up to date thanks to having a newer device I threw Thor 1.5 (Android 5.0.1) on it and put it away. For a Touchwiz ROM it isn't too bad.
Then go to goldfinger custom ROM as a 4.4.2 kk.
