Updating TWRP fail

Hi. I flashed the 2.6.3.2 version of TWRP. But i can't flash a ROM on that version. I tried to flash the 2.6.3.3 version of TWRP but it fails instantly. I'm not sure what to do. Thanks.

I'm using 3.2 and I've installed Malladus, AOKP and PAC without any problems. 3.3 is broken from what I heard.
What are you trying to flash? I think Cyanogenmod only works with CWM.

Really I'm on 3.3 and its perfect....you should try Philz recovery posted in the Original development forum.....a lot ppl said it works good for the Roms that won't flash

I flashed PAC Man and it worked. I'm actually trying to go over to CWM for gummy ROM but thanks.

You have to find the right recovery image, by that I mean one that works. I had the same issue and I just had to dig a little bit to find a working 2.6.3.3 image. It was cake once I downloaded and flashed it. Good luck.

[HELP] - Reboot / Erase

Hello Guys!!!
I have a Samsung i9505 and I'm trying to use a custom rom. I've been using Google Play Edition 4.4.2 and sometime ago it started to notify the 4.4.3 update. I've tried to install it, but nothing happened. I've installed the Jamal GPE 4.4.3 and it works. The problem is that I can't reboot the device. If I do it, the device does not start again... have to install everything again... I've also tried to install Miui Rom, Mahdi Rom and the problem persists. All these Roms works, but I can't reboot... I'm using Team Win v2.5.0.
Am I doing anything wrong?

reflash your device with original firmware and root again and intsall new roms.

Reflashing a stock rom shouldn't be needed.
You are using an old version of the recovery. Upgrade the recovery and everything should probably be solved. Make sure to always fully wipe before flashing roms.

I flashed the stock rom and the stock recovery yesterday. After that, I flashed CWM (last version non-touch), mahdi rom 4.4.4 and gapps.
Everything is working now.

[Q] Flashing ROM failure

Hi,
Yesterday I went to flash CyanogenMod 11 on my Galaxy s4 (GT19505) and it wouldn't work. The first time, it started then went to a black screen. I turned my phone back on to find it wouldn't boot up at all (I waited over 10 minutes for it). I can access recovery mode, and when I did it again, it said md5 couldn't be found.
I used Odin to flash the most recent CT auto root and then moved over TWRP (with Odin) and I had no trouble with these.
I accidentally moved TWRP 2.5 over instead of 2.7. I was running 4.4 KitKat on my phone. Could it be 2.7 isn't compatible with CM 11?
Help!?

It should just work.
Flash the latest TWRP or Philz.
Perform a full wipe.
Flash Cyanogenmod.
What version are you trying to flash from Cyanogenmod? Use the nightlys and if one doesn't work try the version before that one.
ps you can skip the step nexttime about flashing cf-auto root. You don't have to do this. You can just flash the recovery you want.

I'm using a stable version. I haven't downloaded any latest ones. How would i do that if I can't access the phone? Boot it to download then go from there?

are you sure you (even) flashed a (compatible) kernel?

Is there any difference between 19500 and 19505? I'll try a new CM download...knowing my uncertainty I probably got an incompatible rom.

You should only flash a rom for YOUR model phone, and for me the nightlies were stable enough to use.

So I redid TWRP, now what about CM 11? TWRP uses the jfltexx in its name...do I just use Odin to move CM?

So, I installed TWRP 2.7 and it worked. All is good, currently enjoying CM!!!

Now the battery is saying it's at 0%...how do I fix that?

Hello I'm new to the tab 4 t530nu and I recently updated / rooted and wanted to know what good stable roms are available for it?
What stable roms have you tried if you own this tablet?

I have the T530NU as well. First you'll want either TWRP or Philz (CWM touch) custom recovery. Then:
--Stock TW 5.0.2 Deodexed
--Cyanogenmod 12.1
--BlissPop 3.4 (based off CM 12.1)
--PAC Rom LP (hasn't been updated in a while)
I personally would recommend BlissPop 3.4, it's like CM 12.1 but with a lot more customization options, I really like it a lot. Unless you prefer touchwiz in which case go with that first one

? TWRP is working just fine, been using it myself this entire time. v2.8.6.0 is great
Download link since the main one is down. Tar file can be flashed with Odin, img file can be installed with Flashify (app on the play store)

D800 won't take any AOSP ROMs

Hey guys and gals. I have my old g2 that I rarely use anymore, but want to tinker with. My problem is that any LP or MM aosp ROMs won't fully boot. They all just bootloop forever. I've tried different versions of twrp. I've tried just about every bootstack. I've followed flashing instructions to the letter. It's currently running serenity 5.0.2 because stock based seems to take fine, and serenity is relatively debloated. I should add, the laptop fried a few weeks ago, so I'm trying to figure this out via mobile only. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I'm at a loss here.

did you tried hybrid bootstaacks.? did you followed installation.?
wipe all
copy hybridto phone/install/go to main menu/reboot into recovery from recovery/ once in twrp flash rom and gapps.

Yup. Tried the hybrid bootstacks. Every time I installed, rebooted recovery and flashed ROM and gapps. Same effect

you might need to go back to stock using kdz or tot method. start from scratch
