G2 with bose soundlink mini no sound - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am on a stock rooted vzw g2, I bought the bose Bluetooth soundlink Also, and it connected and worked first try. But now I get no sound, Bluetooth is connected and showing being used for media, but sound is coming from the headset speaker instead of through the Bluetooth speaker. Any ideas?

Bluetooth pairs and connects to car stereo, and mike works, no sound out of speakers.

I bought my wife a car stereo that has hands free bluetooth support. When I connect the shift it pairs and connects, but I cannot hear anything through the car speakers.
I works with my rooted evo running MIUI, but does not work with my wife's stock shift.
Could I be overlooking something?
Forgive me for being obvious but make sure here volume is up. Maybe pair and play Pandora then turn it up.
You probably already covered that but it's the only thing that I can think of.

weird audio problem

When I connect head phones to my x10a the audio is distorted badly. it doesnt matter if I connect headphones or a aux cord to the phone to listen to music in the car the audio is distorted and the music app I use (pandora, last fm,slacker) all become unlistenable. Is there a app or a hack I need to do? I already did a warranty exchange with the phone.. any help will be appreciated.
Do your headphones have a microphone on them? That happened to me as well, so I got some headphones without a mic, and now it's crystal clear. I have altec brand headphones now and they are awesome. If you get new onss, I highly recommend getting those.

[Q] headphone amp?

when I connect my razr m from the headphone jack to the aux input on a car radio via a cable, the output is very low even with both devices turned all the way up. Will a headphone amp work, or any other options? Thanks
How does it sound with headphones? Maybe there is a problem with your aux cable? Are you using the stock music player, check the equalizer settings. I get plenty loud when connected to my aux, I would double check everything before buying a headphone amp.

I agree with this. Now, if everything is up and fine, then yes, an amp would help. Personally, I use a Fiio E17 (not with the RAZR M, but with an iPod Touch). I have room to spare on that volume dial.

[Q] Does the nexus 7 work with bluetooth earphones?

The other day I received a pair of plantronics backbeat GO earphones which are Bluetooth earphones. When I got these I tried to use them with my rooted nexus 7 and they paired and connected to the device fine but will not output any sound except for the connecting and disconnecting sounds the earphones make by themselves. So I was wondering if they just are not compatible with my device.

They should be, bluetooth devices such as headsets or headphones are pretty universal. Need more details to figure out why they're not working.
Also have you tried pairing them with other devices such as a laptop or another phone or tablet?
Mine work fine with it. Also pair to bt stereo and car fine.

Yeah I figured they should be compatible but unfortunately I haven't been able to test the earphones out on anything else, I am unsure as my nexus is rooted and I have installed the beats audio drivers which may have disabled the Bluetooth function but I am unsure because I don't have much experience with android

I can connect and pair with Bluetooth but audio doesn't stream and plays out of the speakers, however if I open the plantronics app I can record audio and hear it with the earphones. This problem also occurs across every player and any possible source of audio output throughout the device.

try your earphones with other devices and also try other bluetooth earphones with your N7...
I don't own any other Bluetooth earphones and everyone else in my house is tech depraved and any device they have doesn't have bluetooth

I have no problems with the earphones, it is just the device. My speakers have stopped playing at full volume and now these Bluetooth earphones won't stream. My only real concern is whether or not the app attached is the cause of my problems.

Bluetooth issues

Paired my phone with my level on Bluetooth headphones and the audio is very choppy. Didn't experience this on my note 5.
Any ideas? Will try repairing it and see if that helps.

BT audio works great for me.
Useless comment, really, I know.
I have three devices I've used it with (LG HBS-730 headset, MPOW receiver for wired headphones, and the head-unit in my car - VW RCD 310 in my '13 Golf).
Have you tried your phone with other BT audio?
Seems to be working better now.

Works better than nexus 6p with same BT devices. Only had it drop once vs daily on nexus (main reason I sold it). All BT devices can have a little different stack and that includes phones. Unfortunately, BT is hit and miss. Unpair device and boot into recovery and wiping cache. Sometimes that helps.
I have a pair of Samsung level u pro Bluetooth headset paired to my S7E that i bought on friday which when i paired them to the phone they worked fine all day Friday. Now all of a sudden if a contact calls with a custom ringtone the phone plays the ringtone obviously but the headset does not it plays some generic tone at the same time. Any ideas?
