Im in australia and i have the optus lte version of the galaxy s4, the i9507 and was curious as to whether there was a root available and whether a root for the i9505 would work ?

there is a root for the gt-i9507- just use the root for the i9505 it works

wanted to know is there any difference between
I9505 & SGH-i337 are they the same ?
can we use the same firmware for both ? same rooting or there is a difference ?

I guess they are the same except on LTE support the SGH-i337 works on LTE 700mhz but the I9505 works on LTE 800mhz
that's the only difference I can notice else both are the same
but i don't think the same firmware works on both because the LTE difference will require a modification in the firmware
the root i guess its all the same on both

International S4 on AT&T LTE

Is it possible to flash AT&T I337 radio on an international galaxy S4 I9505 to get AT&T LTE ?
Did anybody do that successfully ?

Im a pretty much a noob at flashing ROMs, but i did manage once before on an old galaxy s2.
Now i recieved the Galaxy S4 and i rooted it succesfully...
Now i found the rom i have but i need to know if my phone is AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, or whatever
the hec it else can be....
Can anyone help me how to find out this information?
Im from denmark and i bought my phone in denmark, if that helps anything at all.....

Most basic thing you can do is check the preinstalled apps usally installed by the carrier

You can also go to Settings > More > About Device and check the Model number.

GT-I9505/GT-I9506 (international with LTE)
SGH-I337 (AT&T Galaxy S4)
SGH-M919 (T-Mobile, MetroPCS Galaxy S4)
SCH-I545 (Verizon Galaxy S4)

GT-9500 or SGH-I337

Hello guys, currently i have one Galaxy S2, but i want to change to a S3 or S4 (economically limited) but i wanna know which version of S4 is better for me in my country "Venezuela" 9500 or I337.

If you want to use custom ROMs, get the I337.
Not if the bootloader is locked. He'd want the I337 simply because of LTE support. Otherwise the I9500 would be the better bet. Ideally, he'd want the I337M, which doesn't have a locked bootloader and should work anywhere in North and South America.
I would go for the sgh-i337m, not 337.
