Phone is too new, factory EFS restore image isnt out yet, so yeah no fix so far

This thread will end up being closed, but this works great!
I used it on my Sprint Note 3, and basically rooted as easy as can be. There is a small error with reboot scripts right now that should be fixed in an update later today, but it doesnt interfere with the rooting process

It works great for your sprint note 3 -- great. how about the Verizon Note 3 US? SM-N900V version of the note 3.

Oops my bad. I guess I should have clarified that. Yes I did use it on my N900V. It was quick and painless!

Does not wipe data correct? Is SElinux still "permissive" in about phone?
Most curious on this as well.
Well i took the plunge. Took 5 min, did not wipe any data, knox still 0x0 and selinux is still permissive. Worked great!

Best build so far for NOTE 3 N9005? battery wise.

Hey there,
Coming from Note2 I'm little disappointed from the battery on the note3 n9005, I'm still on build N9005XXUBMJ1, and I was wondering if I should upgrade the build to gain some more battery time, what would you say is the best build so far ? (battery wise)
Thanks!!
Roi
I'm running UDMJ7 and average about 30 hours on the battery atm, well until I turned on location services and it milked it fast. I turned them back off and it seems fine again.

Afraid not, last one I had before MJ7 was MJ6, which was a nightmare for me.
anybody has some opinion on what is the best build so far for battery consumption ? I'm still on stock N9005XXUBMJ1 (bought in Malaysia), but I'm thinking to upgrade to N9005XXUDMJ7.
What do you think?
Thanks1
I am using MJ7 (Malaysia Model). Just remember to turn off location service for Google. Then reboot into recovery and clear the cache.
Cheers!

Honestly. The version I was on didnt have much problems at all. So I cant tell much. I just thought bumping it up to the newer load would be good.
But I cant see the diff. buddy.

Flash with Odin

Hi guys, if I flash a official firmware with Odin will it be considered as modified system ? The counter and Knox and things like that will see that my system is modified or it will still considered as official ?

So actually if i'm 0x0 and flash an official firmware it's okay, but if i ever flash a custom rom, it will be 0x1 even if i go back to official and then i wouldn't receive ANY OTA update ?
If its 0x0 it means the warranty is still there but if its 0x1 its void. And its nearly impossible to reset this flag by KNOX

You will get updates though. Its just for warranty.

You're sure that i still get ota update if i'm on official firmware and knox to 0x1
(so if i ever root my device, get a flag of 0x1 then go back to official stock firmware, later i'll still get OTA update)
Yes im sure about you getting an update over the air (ota). Like I said, KNOX is used for the warranty purposes. You will get normal updates.

More information is needed. What firmware was it on? If you have an mdk for instance you don't wanna flash a knox build, etc. Give as much info as possible.

Would not let me edit it so I replied. Mdk is a Verizon build. But the point is the same. Without more info you might get bad info.
