Can't update N9005 through OTA or Kies 3 - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Currently I'm facing an issue with updating my Note 3, Today I have received an Update through OTA, but I didn't apply immediately I have unrooted my device first, while applying the OTA, in recovery the process reach the point when says updating system and then gives me an error, boot up again and advice me to use kies. kies has always been a problem to me, anyhow I installed kies 3, and somehow when ever I click on update firmware, the app freezes completely. I have done a complete factory reset and did the OTA again with no luck.
Note: I rooted using Vega, Unrooted using King
even after the factory reset I still get "Prevention Information" Notification message
Appreciate your help

I can't figure out which file suits my model!

Root de la Vega = no Ota, there is a new bootloader and new bootloader = no more de la vega
Your knox flag should be = 1 now? If it is the case, flash your newest stock firmware and root it with CF-ROOT

[Q] Firmware update failed, Wi-Fi and sound doesn't work (GT-I9505)

Hello,
First I must say, that I'm not English native speaker, so sorry for any language mistakes.
I have a pretty serious problem with my Galaxy S4 LTE I9505. I downloaded the latest official ROM for my model (I9505XXUBMGA_I9505OXXBMG3_XEO) from SamMobile and I wanted to flash it via Odin 3.07 (previously I had CyanogenMod 10.2). But during the flashing process Odin give me "FAIL".
After that my phone was showing downloading screen with this information:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: GT-I9505
CURRENT BINARY: Sansung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
SW. REV: CHECK FAIL: fused: 2, Binary: 1
"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again"
Click to collapse
Of course I was trying Emergency Recovery option in Kies, but it was failing all the time. I also was trying to flash it again, but Odin again shows me "FAIL" during the process. So I choose re-partition with PIT file and stock, branded ROM (I9505XXUAMDE_I9505PLSAMD8_I9505XXUAMDE_HOME). And it works, now I can boot my phone and original recovery without any problems, but unfortunatly I can't enable Wi-Fi module and any function that needs sounds just don't work (phone calling, system sounds, notifications etc.). Kies don't want to update my OS from stock, branded version to newest one (error while updating device). I also tried this on different PC, but it's always showing "FAIL" in Odin.
What should I do to get back to stock firmware? Right now I can only send text messanges and use internet via carrier data plan...

You can install the any stock rom that ends on H8
samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9505
You will not have root access anymore and are stucked with unremovable annoying system apps...
But thats the price to pay to have your phone back. I was phoneless for 3 days because of this. I'm happy to be still alive, but also wondering if live without root is worth it..

You will get OTA if you have returned to factory settings after flashing. Your knox value should also be 0x0 and your ROM should be stock.

That's interesting. Once, I had to factory reset twice to get the proper CSC but the photo looks it is already correct. Maybe Samsung distributes the OTAs in waves to balance server load.

No looks like Samsung lock the product code, in note3 & previous all models, once we flash rom of other regions it will change everything including products code...
So no solutions to keep Poland rom ota update?
Any work around, without root?
Thanks in advance

I'm a relative noob to flashing rom's. Can someone tell me if I'm understanding this correctly?
Installing this update will *unroot* my phone? So after installing this update through odin, I will need to install twrp again while in download mode? And then, once that's installed, reroot my phone?

if you are already on oreo, you can then use the update.zip files posted here https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/how-to/discussion-oreo-final-t3746561 and just flash from SD Card using the stock recovery.
You dont need to deal with Odin then. I've done my first flash to OREO (CRAP) via odin with full wipe. Then flashed the incremental updates from SD card and nothing went wrong.
Hope this helps.
