[Q] Help for Splitting stock rom - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

Can anyone here at XDA make this firmware flashable in ODIN using splitfus2 for me? Because I asked this already on Doky's thread but unfortunately he and others aren't responding on his own thread for a long time. Although SGY is nowadays old I still want this always updated. Please I need your help and expertise for this. I will be very much thankful to you and I will have no any doubt to hit thanks button of yours..

Just so you know all official samsung firmware from kies cannot be flashed via odin
This is because sgy does not support single file firmware flashing
This is why doky created a thread with firmwares already split into odin flashable parts
however due to other commitments he can't constantly split all new firmware so he posted the tool for you to split them yourself
I might do some after Xmas but for the now I don't time

Actually I haven't split firmware before but the instructions on dokys thread look simple to follow
I don't actually have a laptop at present but I should be buying a high powered one in new year - until then try it yourself

Installing Firmware
If you find problems in installing firmware from sites just try connecting your mobile to kies and put kies in autoupdate mode. if update is available then it will tell you on the basic page. or it will say 'this is the latest firmware. if firmware is available, be ready to download upto 1gb or more data fast. connect your phone to your computer and start firmware update. I suggest you to do it at night, coz it needs phone connected everytime. after upgrade you lose Root but it can be done again. If this doesn't work then you can download official firmwares from sammobile. it is available there.

Hey.. Stock ROMs available from sammobile and other links will only have one file. But it is useless for us due to an error in its header. So we have to split it into multiple files using a sygwin programme 'splitfus' But this meathod is too complicated and a beginner can't do this.
But sir doky in xda had splitted and uploaded this firmwares. Go to his thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800 and download the firmware u want.. & it wil cointain 3 files, load it in appropriate folders and flash it.
Press thankz if i helped

flash it in pda section no need for splitfus
1 first, download firmware that had been splitted into 3 files (PDA,MODEM,CSC)
2 then install kies from ur GY box
3 and then install samsung usb driver
4 open odin
5 put ur galaxy young into odin mode(turn off your phone, then press Vol Down+Home key+Power)
6 insert firmware that u had downloaded before in correct place
7 press start
8 wait until your GY showing Android
9 and you had been installed a stock ROM
NOTE: BACKUP YOUR FILES FIRST

Reinstall Firmware (GT-S5360) via Kies

I cant do with odin. I have downloaded Odin3 V3.09, official firmware from sammobile "S5360_XXMC2_OXFMC1_XXMC2", all drivers are installed correctly but when i put the S5360_XXMC2_OXFMC1_XXMC2 file into "AP" it odin stuck at "Leave CS.." . I have tried older odin (3.07, 1.85, 1.84) Same problem again. Tried on different usb ports/computer and nothing. Where can i download the original firmware (3 files "csc-modem-pda" not 1 as sammobile firmwares) for my GT-S5360 ?
Here it is a broken link from samsung-updates samsung-updates.com/details/13437/Galaxy_Y/GT-S5360/ALB/S5360XXMC2.html
Thanks!

ok. stay calm. That's the 1st rule
I believe I can't ask you to check your about device, since you are stuck at ODIN mode already.
From what you are saying you are on latest Germany firmware, if I'm not wrong it should be ND3 Kitkat.
Did you try to root using the correct file of CF-Autoroot ? I mean did you use the correct file for the Kitkat N9005 version ?
Since now you are left with no other choice, I suggest you to download the same firmware of ND3 - DBT version again (if you still want to stick with germany firmware).
But if you want the latest one, you can try Singapore XSP NE4 (I'm not sure, but some users reported the NE4 XSP is not so good in dealing with GPS).
It's up to your choice mate. But if you are worry too much, you can just grab the ND3 - DBT (I'm not sure the germany this one still need the .PIT file or not), or any other Europe firmwares (try not to grab the provider branded firmware)
You can find this on samfirmware.com
Once you get already, you can use ODIN v.3.0.9 to flash.
Let it boot... if you stuck at the N9005 logo, power it off (or take out battery for few secs and put it back), and then press vol up + home + power to go into stock recovery, and then choose factory reset and wipe cache, and then reboot.
Btw,
Reason why you are not able to flash the firmwares you are listed above, is because you are on Germany last built (ND3) with the ND bootloader. It is not possible for you to flash earlier firmware with earlier bootloader.
Hope you understand my long explanation
feel free to PM me if you need more help.
cheers.

My post about gt-s5369 (vodafone) was moved into this section, so i think the firmware i was looking for is the same for gt-s5360. But i'm a newby, so i know many people who tried to install that firmware didn't solve the problem, because phone could not call after that operation.
So i'd be sp happy if someone indicates me the right link to get the firmware (all files) to recovery my phone (in a way to work):crying::crying:

Sm-910h)i'm unable to flash bootloader and roms via odin and also flash costum rom.

Please I own a SM-910H version of the Galaxy Note 4. I tried to flash the N5 ported Sixperience rom but I was experiencing a bootloop because my bootloader wasn't a lollipop 5.1.1 bootloader. I downloaded the 5.1.1 bootloader (910HXXU1COH4) and for some unknown reason I'm not able to flash via odin. It fails whenever it gets to "sboot.bi". I tried flashing the stock firmware, both lollipop 5.0.2 and 5.1.1 but they all fail when it gets to "sboot.bin". But I'm able to flash Recoveries and 910HXXU2COJ4 bootloader.
I reverted back to stock kernel and recovery and still didn't solve the problem. I tried to flash CyanogenMod 12.1 via recovery it also didn't work.
Please I need help to fix this problem because I'm afraid it might affect me in the coming months if I want to flash android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Below are the information on my phone frmware
from the photo of odin this is n910c bootloader
Yea. When all else was failing then I tried that one too.
I think my thread is in the wrong forum. I'm moving it to the Help and Troubleshooting forum.

Hi, I don't speak English, but I try to help you.
I have this problem two weeks ago.
So here in xda I found a thread with the solution.
I can't remember the name of program but maybe anyone can tell you.
The program "decompile" or "decompress" (I don't know exactly) the tar file.
So then you delete the sboot.bin and "recompile" (or whatever the program do) the tar and re flash with Odin and the "new" tar file.
This work for me.
Hope you can understand my poor help.
Good luck!
I search and search but can't find the post.
But find this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/help/s6-edge-g925f-odin-flashing-problem-t3141455
And someone say this
"extract the firmware.. Than delete the file from the folder
use the new multitool in development thread to ma Ke a
new tar for Odin.. And flash"
So, I think this "multitool" is the program I used.
Is a DOS interface program.

Edit:
Look at this thread too I'm on my phone, so I can't test the program.
