ok. stay calm. That's the 1st rule
I believe I can't ask you to check your about device, since you are stuck at ODIN mode already.
From what you are saying you are on latest Germany firmware, if I'm not wrong it should be ND3 Kitkat.
Did you try to root using the correct file of CF-Autoroot ? I mean did you use the correct file for the Kitkat N9005 version ?
Since now you are left with no other choice, I suggest you to download the same firmware of ND3 - DBT version again (if you still want to stick with germany firmware).
But if you want the latest one, you can try Singapore XSP NE4 (I'm not sure, but some users reported the NE4 XSP is not so good in dealing with GPS).
It's up to your choice mate. But if you are worry too much, you can just grab the ND3 - DBT (I'm not sure the germany this one still need the .PIT file or not), or any other Europe firmwares (try not to grab the provider branded firmware)
You can find this on samfirmware.com
Once you get already, you can use ODIN v.3.0.9 to flash.
Let it boot... if you stuck at the N9005 logo, power it off (or take out battery for few secs and put it back), and then press vol up + home + power to go into stock recovery, and then choose factory reset and wipe cache, and then reboot.
Btw,
Reason why you are not able to flash the firmwares you are listed above, is because you are on Germany last built (ND3) with the ND bootloader. It is not possible for you to flash earlier firmware with earlier bootloader.
Hope you understand my long explanation
feel free to PM me if you need more help.
cheers.

[Q] Change EU version to DBT version with Odin

Dear all,
we have the problem, that we are not able to change a Note 3 free EU version (for example from poland XEO) to a DBT version.
After starting the flashing process everything will stop after short time and Odin shows fail.
Do you have a solution for that?
Many thanks in advance,
Markus
Q&A no? reported!
The answer is simple: Don't flash other region firmwares on your Note 3. Simple

Which Odin-version did you use? For the latest phones, you'll have to use v3.09
Have a look at SamMobile:
Odin 3.09 https://hotfile.com/dl/248246506/848df76/Odin3_v3.09.zip.html
DBT-firmware http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=20383
After this, clear the cache and factory reset via POWER-HOME-VOL UP
Then the CSC should be changed to DBT
It was checked with different Odin versions, 3.09, 3.07 etc.
I have tested it with the BTU und DBT version now and both brick after few seconds.
The recovery of the XEO version works fine with odin.
I give up for today!
Nothing? Reallly no solution for that problem? ;-(
I never thought about putting a different region FW on any of my phones. What would be the advantage of doing so, despite than screwing up some bands so that the phone doesn't work properly anymore?
The advantage is that updates will come earlier, different functions between different FWs etc.

Have you tried to root it? Maybe DBT is yet on your device and with an app like CSC select you will be able to do what you want (be carefully as it is the best way to avoid your knoks warranty)
I don't want to root!
You can build your own tar without the bootloader. I think that it is the only way

Solution for soft-bricked N9005 after flashing Hong Kong's TGY firmware

I am posting this to help people who ran across the same problem I did the past 24 hours, which drove me crazy and it was quite difficult to find any info on it.
I bought my N9005 on eBay from a Hong Kong seller. I just updated it with Kies and noticed that sammobile.com has a newer MJ8 firmware, so I figured I'd just download it and flash it via Odin.
Kies shows my mobile as XME (Malaysia region), but I guessed it should work just fine, and boy was I wrong.
Moments after trying to flash it, it failed, but it did manage to flash the beginning of the firmware, which was the new MJ bootloader. That newer bootloader does not allow any other firmware with older bootloader be flashed on the phone. Not even Kies's emergency recovery was able to revive my phone which was stuck in emergency download mode.
When trying to flash I got all sorts of errors, such as:
invalid ext4 image
and
CHECK FAIL : fused : 2 , Binary : 1. (when trying to install the older XME Malaysian Firmware on top of the new bootloader)
To make a very long story short, after almost giving up and start waiting for a Malaysian firmware with the new bootloader to be released, I ran across the UK MJ6 BTU rom which does have the new bootloader too and decided to try flashing it. To my amazement - this worked and my phone is back to life! phewwwww!
This is a download link to the BTU MJ6 firmware:

my brick story in short is------ brought note 3 sm-n9005 from ebay from a Hong Kong based seller. pics of ap, cp and csc are attached. rooted with chainfire's and installed cwm6 by chenglu. A few days back, flashed bobcat rom version 2(mj7) and later 3( mk2 ) without problems. Was looking for different themes .yesterday flashed balckchrome from s4 forum that also went smooth. Unfortunatly flashed another theme for s4 which was not meant for andriod version 4.3. Pretty stupid .went into bootloop. Had nandroid backup tried to restore but couldn't.
Flashed another rom mk2 from cwm. again bootloop .took the odin route and flashed stock deodesk mj7 by Djembey from this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2461929
Failed again. Then downloaded latest mk2 from sammobile website. The same error (invalid ext4 img) in short failed on all ccounts. Have run out of options. The last thing in mind is to wait for some new bootloader after mk2 which might rescue me as mentioned in this thread that new bootloaders might help... Any guidance will be appreciated. Thanks
@pyarajaani
Try this:
1) Get X-Note v6 custom rom.
2) Use Odin to install CWM recovery.
3) boot the phone into CWM recovery and copy the X-NOTE rom (MK2 based) to your phone or card.
4) Do a complete wipe/factory-reset from CWM
5) Install the X-NOTE rom from CWM
And let me know how it went

Why did you suggest X-Note but not another ROM?
3 reasons:
- It's MK2 based
- I am using it
- It's excellent
And besides, if the method I suggested works, he can always replace a ROM later on if he wishes.

Nope, I didnt mean what is the best rom to use.
The problem is that how to bypass the bootloop issue.

yes...I did that n installed X note rom from cwm. BUT I suspect that cwm is not fully functional. Why I m saying this is that I have a nandroid backup of bobcat mj7 rom...which cwm isn't able to detect even. ..nevertheless. .cwm is installed.
1) Which CWM version do you have installed?
2) Did you do a full wipe/factory-reset?
3) Did you try also advanced formatting (of system partition together with the full wipe) and then install the ROM?
4) Did you try all the above with the latest TWRP recovery instead of CWM?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2467255
Try to flash this file by cwm first and then flash any rom after you want

[urgent] need a XXUBMGA firmware

Hi,
I played too much with flashing, and loose sound (absolutly no sound, no mic)
(my phone is a I9505)
I would like to flash an original firmware, like the XXUBMGA (which is what I had when I bought it), properly tuned for France
without knox etc...
I need to get back all the things in firmware folder....
because hotfile is closed, I can't find it anymore (
sammobile only has formware for one month ago. I want to have something older in order.
thanks for anyone who could share, on mega, or ??? the firmware flashable with odin (a rom will not get back the sound for me (
thanks
Olivier
If AndroidFirmwares.net or Samsung-Updates.com doesn't have what you need, you either wait for Samfirmware to have their files up again, or you're SOOL.

I tried 2 or 3 times to flash with odin, then go in stock recovery, wipe cache, and factory reset each time,
and finally it worked.
I remembered that when flashing modem, most of the time, I have to flash 2 times at least in order to get ti flashed properly...
strange thing : in stock recovery, when I wipe cache, the phone reboot !
I hope I didn't damage any partition...
anyway, now my galaxy s4 is back sound works.
it is rooted, and I will go back to non stock rom soon.

I believe it is in need of repartition. Some partition from the Rom you're trying to install exceeds current partition size.
So either find the correct update for your region (which I strongly advise) Either try it by ticking repartition( do it your own risk) which is not advisable as you might end up bricking the phone.
You need a pit file for repartition.

The best solution for you is to initialize your phone using Kies 3... However, this requires a running phone, not a bootlooping one... Use a firmware that works with you first!
Install it, connect your phone and do the initialization from the firmware menu... This should install the latest available firmware to your device while cleaning up the whole mess....
Good luck

Send it to Samsung... They definitely know how to put Kitkat on your device!
Are u sure you are downloading right firmware for your device since there are few variants around here, and mayb kitkat is not released for your variant ...
As i can see on samsung update page there is only one 4.4.4 for your device variant (s3ve3gUB)
http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9300I
It is : I9300IUBUBNJ1 ,so try flashing that one

I am working on the same exact phone and I have having a hard time finding the right firmware for this phone.
It is stuck on recovery. I get a could not do normal boot and back to recovery. So I was planning on flashing a stock rom to get it out of recovery. Every how to page talks about going into setting to find your firmware version. This makes it hard when you cannot get into phone settings.
If you ever find the right Rom for this type of phone Please reply. Every rom site I have visited does not have the correct one.
This is most probably a hardware issue. Something on the main board got fried or some other glitch took place in a hardware component. Send it to Samsung for a repair or better buy a new phone.

Another idea is to use Smart Switch. You don't need a running phone this time. Just choose the firmware initialization option and enter your device model and serial number, and you're good to go. If this didn't work, send it to Samsung or give it a goodbye kiss.

Important Notes Regarding 6.x upgrade - Please read

Hi guys this thread is regarding Updating your mobile Firmware to 6.0[especially for N9208, although is applicable for other models as well]
First, lets observe two scenarios in which you might be
CASE- 1
You are rooted
To upgrade you'll need to first download the latest firmware or atleast the same firmware as the one in which you currently are [Ex. You have APC1 you can download APC1 or higher(APC3) however at this point you cannot install any firmware lower than what you already have (Ex.AOK8)]
After you've downloaded the firmware compatible with your phone,I would recommend you to make a nandroid backup and then Flash it through odin
Instructions [From Sammobile]
Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.10.7
Extract Odin ZIP file
Open Odin v3.10.7
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes
Now go to software updates and update to android 6.x
CASE-2
You are not rooted and have not tripped Knox
Now this case is important especially for N9208 users. To upgrade you'll have to simply wait for the firmware to be available for your device and region specifically. If you try to flash a Firmware other than your region [Ex.Taiwan that has 6.x ota] you'll not only be highly likely to trip knox but also take an attempt to downgrade your firmware (Taiwan 5.1.1 is still not APC3).
I know the instructions seem pretty straight forward and general. However I received 3 PMs regarding the above concern so I thought to share with you guys.
I'll add a few more info soon

Hi Lucas. How about flashing from APC3 straight to Taiwan MM ROM. Without downgrading to Taiwan 5.1.1 ROM. Would that trip KNOX?
Thanks in advance

No Guys you cannot flash Taiwan Rom into different region phones. They have different bootloaders and would simply fail to work. You'll end up with knox tripped devices with the same firmware as you had. Don't try it!

+1
Happened to me already
But Samsung seem to have fixed the Deep Sleep issue with MM.
Does this mean that following this CASE-1 will not trip the power drain issue for previously rooted device?
Hi there ! Will it restore or clear data if we update as mention above ?
