I have to post it here, because no one in the 'Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting' thread are replying anything.
Since I use to own an A500, I know how active and helpful the memeber of this thread are.
As there's no dedicaded thread for my newly bought Acer Iconia A210, I'm in dire need of you guys!
Here's my issue:
I was trying to root my device using this instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...5&highlight=up
Now I'm stuck at bootloader screen, with an acer logo and in left top corner is: bootloader version ISC-MR1-b05547a (unlock mode)
I can't communicates with tablet via USB (no device found) even I can't get to recover mode.
What should I do?

You need the drivers installed
1. Acer website for the acer drivers
2.zip file attached for google/fastboot drivers
Ive attached a .jpg too, u need to have the apx device listed in hardware/printers as shown
3. with apxFlash try dumping your ".bct" when u see that window
4. you can try the afterOTA tool too...
5. if the auto tools dont work then you will need to rollback to HC using tdv4 EUU
6. have a look thru the OP of the cpuid thread for more background info on all things acer http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=25429111#post25429111
I've never had this much trouble before.
Ok. A little back story first. I'm not a moron, I have a myTouch 3G Sapphire 32a Fender rooted using the gold card method, LG G2x - P999 Rooted running CM10, and a SGH-T999 Stock rooted (That's a Galaxy S3 for those who don't know).
I have a friend that got an Acer Iconia a500 tablet a year ago. He's not a power user, doesn't know anything about rooting. All he did was play games on it. One day it wouldn't turn on, the screen was blank. Occasionally it would freeze at the Acer logo, but it would never boot up.
Now it's stuck in APX mod due to him pushing a bunch of buttons(idk how he got it into APX mode so don't ask), so there is absolutely no way to boot the tablet. He never turned on USB debugging, and I can't get into the tablet to turn it on because it's stuck in apx mode.
I must stress this!
I have been working on this tablet for 3 weeks now, and read countless posts about how to fix the exact problem that I'm having with this tablet, the only drawback is: step 1 is always, "Turn on USB Debugging." That is IMPOSSIBLE for me to do at this point.
Here is list of what I do know:
Hardware - Acer Iconia a500, APX Driver Version - 1.0.1.0 Released 4/1/2010 Shows as APX in Devices. Shows as Acer USB Boot-recovery driver in device manager.
Software
ADB info - Android SDK rev.20
ADB ver 1.0.29
Windows 7 64-bit completely up-to-date
Commands: adb get-state, get-serial ------- returns, unknown
Commands: adb remount, root, usb ------- returns, "error: device not found"
Command: adb devices -------- returns no value at all.
Programs used for rooting - AfterOTA 1.09, EUUS v3, blackThun3r A500 Manager
I have the CPUID, and SKB (I was somehow able to acquire those in one of my attempts to flash the stock rom)
What I don't know:
What version of Android OS is on the tablet. I'm pretty sure it has ICS, but he was deathly afraid of downloading any updates, even app updates even though I told him that all updates should be installed a.s.a.p. So there's a chance that it's still running HC.
Now here is my problem other than being stuck in APX mode. I have tried AfterOTA, it won't detect anything past Driver Installed on the Tablet information screen because USB debugging isn't enabled. So I can't use most of the functions of that program.
blackthund3r APX Flash v0.4 - Will get the tablet into the bootloader mode where it says:
Acer Iconia APX Mode in the upper right with a glowing yellow Acer logo in the center of the screen, nothing is flashing like the APX flasher says, I have reinstalled the drivers hundred of times with the same results.
Hangs at, "Flashing Bootloader (EBT) stage two - uploading image..."
EUUS v3 - Says, "Acer Iconia not detected"
(I had a screenshot posted here, but stupid forum limitations wouldn't let me. You could see what's going on if it let me post this.)
I do the reset procedure and it just goes back to the same message.
It will go into a screen on the tablet that says "Entering Acer Download Mode" Then EUUS tells me to do the reset procedure again, and this is a continuous loop that results in nothing being flashed. If I ignore that message and just continue nothing happens.
I also have a file called a500-hc.bat that runs nvflash and it gives an error that leads me to believe that a partition on the tablet is corrupted. Everyone says that EUUS v3 should fix this and flash back to original stock, but it obviously doesn't work.
Any help that I could get would be greatly appreciated. If you need any more information, just ask, and I'll do my best to get it. The tablet is (for lack of a better word) bricked, so I'm very limited on what sort of software info I can give you straight from the tab. Please Please Please help. And thank you in advance.
I have two A500s and have rooted and flashed them both successfully.
One day my main tab, the other is for the family, was working then it just stopped. It would boot to the "Acer" logo and go no further. I left it like that all night with no result.
So, I figure that I'll just flash a new rom to fix it. I tried 6 or 8 different roms; all booted only partially like before. I did a factory reset, flipping the screen lock back and forth. Still would only boot part way and hold. I continued to look for different roms (what do they say when you keep trying the same thing expecting different results?).
Now the tab doesn't seem to come on at all; that is the screen stays dark. The light on the power button comes on and I can turn it off by holding for 10 seconds and turn it on again. I connected to my PC and it requested a driver which I installed. the PC makes the "new hardware" sound but I don't find it in "My Computer".
I have tried to access it via “adb devices”, but no devices are detected.
This is the extent of my efforts and knowledge. If anyone is able to help please email me at [email protected]. I have been reading the blogs and am posting this to several blogs so I might not find your answer if it is to the blog only.
Btw,
I did find a post that describes something like this on an A200 at this blog:
http://www.acertabletforum.com/forum/acer-iconia-a200-help/5895-solved-my-a200-wont-turn.html
I'm tempted to attempt it if I don't find an answer specific to the A500.
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP!!!
==================================================
edit: I tried the A200 solution to no affect.

rooting Lenovo A3500H failure
Hi folks,
I followed the procedure but when clicking download in the Smart Phone Flash Tool it goes to "search" and never starts transferring. I have selected Recovery (recovery.img) as required, nothing else.
The tool was started as Administrator on my Windows 8.1 PC.
But i mention one thing: When pressing download a Warning pops up like:
"Not ALL Images are correctly loaded, which may cause boot up issue!
Do you still want to go on downloading anyway?"
As said above, when clicking YES it goes into "search" and nothing happens anymore.
Stop works fine, it does not hang up or such.
The Tablet is recognized on the PC as 3500-H and i can view the data.
I have Android 4.4.2 on the brand new Tablet. Nothing done to it so far.
Who has an idea what goes wrong??
TIA and have a good week.

A501 will not load recovery
Dear all
I have an issue with a A501 Tablet (4.0.3 stock) using the AfterOTA 1.09 tool
– USB ADB drivers installed (OneClick Tool works, secured the AcerIDs etc.)
– APX driver installed (Tablet boots into APX mode, is recognized as being in APX, A500 Manager “sees” it also)
One Click Tool can reboot the tablet (step 1/4 and 2/4 successful)
– black screen, and green Acer Logo is shown.
– upper left corner: “Acer Iconia APX Mode”
BUT: One Click Tool stays in step “3/4 – installing Recovery” all the time and does not continue
Reboot Tablet starts normal into Android 4.0.3 - so it seems not to be "damaged".
POWER and VOLUME DOWN:
– loading kernel recovery
– shows the Android with the red exclamation mark
POWER and VOLUME UP :
– nothing happens, only boots regularly
I have already tried the One Click Tool with Windows XP and also Win 8.1 (UAC off, driver signature checks off, AntiVirus off).
All without success.
May anybody help me why it does not load the customer recovery ?

Acer Iconia A500
Hello,
I tried to install Acer Iconia A500 drivers on my PC with Win7 OS using after OTA but keep having the message that device is not connected , even on website there is no drivers for ICS Iconia A500.
Pls help
Have I bricked my device for good?
Hi all,
So after a bit of research I attempted to perform my first root of my Acer Iconia A500. I used this handy tool to attempt to flash recovery and bootloader onto my tablet. The tool was able to boot the tablet into apx mode and proceed to apply the chosen bootloader (Bootloader V9 (V9-gbc410d4) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1619913) and recovery (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2583710). It proceeded until hanging on flashing bootloader for 15 mins at which point I disconnected the usb and powered down. Prior to this I used the ICS Root 7.2.0 (http://forum.tegraowners.com/viewtopic.php?t=350) to root my tablet which seemed to work.
I wanted to flash this rom onto the tablet (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2705989) but obviously this may not be happening now. Do I have any options or just a big paper weight now?
Same Issue as tobzi1977
Hi all,
despite I fear now one is interested in this tool any more, I hope to maybe find an answer.
I have exactly the same issue as tobzi1977.
Anyone any hint?
some data:

Uac deactivated, aota tool still not working, any reasons why?
Hi awesome people on XDA, hope every one is doing well.
Pls allow me to apologize in advance for starting this thread as a last resort. Please believe me when I say I have tried and failed in all known (googled) options to restore my Asus Zenpad 10. I found many threads for different models, but not this particular one.
Issue - - My Asus Zenpad 10 P023 - was shipped with CN ROM. All was going well until I decided to install custom ENG ROM on it. I know I made some mistake somewhere and the tab is now stuck on ASUS logo and wont start
Positive - - I can still access FASTBOOT mode
Negative - - No ADB access, the fastboot mode, all I have is word "FASTBOOT MODE" on screen and nothing else happens, apart from hold power down to turn off. :crying:
All I want is to be able to get the tab back on with ENG ROM, doesn't matter what ROM, custom, stock, anything.
Please feel free to call me stupid, noob, as long as I get correct info to get the tab working.
(BTW, I will really appreciate a detailed asnwer step by step, I am still noob and don't know much, thus have a bricked tab)
If you could redirect me to other threads which could be helpful to my case, will be welcome too.
Thanks in advance!!
Follow up updates -
Errors on FASTBOOT are -
When flashing system - VRL needs to be flashed
Update system - package does not contain "android-info.txt'
Flashing recovery - Failed to flash recovery
Erasing recovery - success
OEM unlock - already unlocked
And many more
