Hello pureexe,
Oh Yes, Sorry for the confusion,
for me flashable was to say it can be flashed using fastboot -w update full*.zip
Sorry for that, i have not generated the zip file to be flashed by Recovery, and thanks for sharing the info, i will try that method also. a new learning for me.

I'd like to try FIrefox OS (on my Nexus 4), but not clear for me what is this so many files in your directory.
1. What is the diference between files in "full_mako-img-eng.administrator.zip" and files in directory directly?
2. What are these ramdisk files? They are necessary for install? I found and instruction, but in this intruction there are only four files:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img

Ok, I was brave (and I reread all post in this topic, and found the 5th post), and install thsi rom yesterday. Everything is fine.
Where to write bugreport? This topic, or bugzilla?
- data counting doesn't work
- USB connection doesn't work
- yahoo mail doesn't refresh the feed manually (?)
- GPS doesn't work
etc.

I am currently working to port firefox os on nexus 7. So totally focused there. But will try to see if i can solve. However i feel these bugs are in original source itself.

[DISCONTINUED][WIP] Ubuntu touch port

- - - Update - - -
After long time since I've released the last news, I've decided to discontinue this project.
I'm near final high school exams so I don't have the time to dedicate myself on the project and because, after 2+ years, my Nexus S left me with an hardbrick (I've tried applying Unbrickable Mod and replacing the motherboard but no luck).
You can find my last pieces of work on my GitHub account (https://github.com/Matsca09/Ubuntu-Touch-Nexus-S/).
I want to conclude by thanking everyone who tested and used this port and I hope someone else will continue this work to port Ubuntu on this great phone
Thanks again for all,
Matsca09

Hi everyone,
I want to share with you my port of Ubuntu touch for Nexus S.
What works:
Graphics acceleration
Backlight control
Calls (with audio) and SMS
Camera
Wifi
Audio
What doesn't work:
GPS (?, not tested)
3G connection (?, not tested)
Other things maybe
How to install it:
1) Download the base system and the system image from the 'Releases' section of this post.
2) Extract the 'ubuntu' folder from the Ubuntu image zip and copy it into the root of the phone storage.
3) Copy the base system zip into the root of the phone storage.
3) Flash the base system on your phone and reboot.
The TWRP recovery may report an error like "No OS installed" when you reboot/shutdown after flashing the base system: ignore that error.
Releases:
-- 13.10 (stable) --
Suspended -- 12.10 (preview release) --
Base system: DownloadUbuntu image: Download
Enjoy,
Matsca09

Hi everyone,
I want to share with you my port of Ubuntu touch for Nexus S.
For now it's a uncomplete port, most things doesn't work or doesn't work properly.
What works:
Graphics acceleration
Wifi
Calls (but no audio) and SMS
What doesn't work:
Camera
Audio (no sounds at all)
Almost everything xD
The ubuntu image is more like a demo than a preview, most of the apps installed won't work, but it's cool
How to install it:
Download the zip from this post
Unpack it: you'll find 2 zips:
ubuntu.zip -> Contains the Ubuntu touch image
ubuntu-crespo-flash.zip -> Contains the base system
Unpack ubuntu.zip and move the 'ubuntu' folder into the root of sd card
Flash ubuntu-crespo-flash.zip with your recovery
At the beginning it may be a bit slow, but later it'll work smoothly
Download:

FirefoxOS ported to Samsung Galaxy S2 (JellyBean 4.3)

I've finally opened the new official thread for this port:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2612940
Thanks!
Hi,
I've been working on supporting GT-I9100 for FirefoxOS with JellyBean 4.3. This is going to be the near-future for next FirefoxOS releases so thanks to the previous work done by CyanogenMod on porting this device to JB4.3, I could ported it to FirefoxOS.
I don't have "privileges" to create a new thread on i9100 development forum and announce there all the work I've done, so in the meantime I thought that someone here could be interested in testing it and helping
Right now, the only way to have an image and installing it on you device is building it by yourself, just follow these instructions: plus.google.com/117885749590235128300/posts/cH2qU1hcLEC

Hello,
I've currently no time to try compiling (and i had to uninstall my linux recently...) But I will definitely keep an eye on this thread and be happy to test when you succeed to provide a precompiled image (or when I get a little time to compile it myself)
That might be a silly question but is there any chance that it works white other aosp based rom like Paranoid Android ?
Thanks for your work !

Well, the dual boot can be extended to add other ROMs easily but it will take a lot of time to test them all so for now I'd stick with Cyanogenmod 10.2. Anyway, all my work is shared via github.com/atilag so any collaboration will be appreciated
I already provided a CWM installable .zip that you can find here: https : //mega.co.nz/#!0NUwEAxK!AQXMXzjmkQRiMvn6auQEEkN3sL8eOn0GFFXSRyXzdvE

Can you tell us what are the steps for installing this rom? Flash it via CWM? Is this a dual boot rom will it have JB in it, or do you have to flash it on top of JB? What features are functioning in Firefox? Calls, sms, WIFI?

Yes, this is a CWM installable .zip.
It is dual-boot in case you have installed CM10.2 on it. If you don't, you won't be able to dual-boot.
I wanted to reach the necessary post count to create an official thread on developers forums fot this port, so I just used this one as a preview... this is the reason cause there's no much more information about the port in this thread
Anyway, visit the link to my G+ post and you will have further instructions, I cannot post links yet, so build it yoursefl: plus.google.com/117885749590235128300/posts/cH2qU1hcLEC
What doesn't work:
* Graphic issues (some laggy)
* No mobile-data (it connects to 3G/HSDP networks but don't transmit data)
* No Camera
* No Bluetooth
I'm working on building a new version these days, so a new release would be available soon.

how to boot back into android
Hi Juan,
First of all thanks for the effort of porting Firefox to SGS2, I have successfully installed the zip file that you have posted and I have booted into Firefox. Like you mentioned no mobile data, no camera, no bluetooth. Voice call function ok. I have not managed to connect to a wireless yet. Can you tell me how to boot into android instead of firefox? I have installed the zip on top om CM 10.2 so dual boot should work.

Hi, first of all, I opened a new ROM thread (and thus the official) for this port: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2612940
If you want to boot into CM10.2, you have to use adb this way:
adb shell cr.sh 1
This will reboot the phone in this very moment, and will boot into CM10.2.
skyrocket
I can't write on the official thread yet, you know how that is. Curious if anyone has tried the i727 skyrocket yet and what results. Thanks in advance.

I have one major problem with this ROM (and specifically with MIUI). I can't get Bluetooth working in my Ford Focus. I get it to intially connect, but then Bluetooth on the phone force closes. I've had issues with this in the past with MIUI, so I don't know how to fix it. :\

Good job can you please share your sources with twrp team (contact them via freenode official twrp channel)
That will open the way to official twrp...
(I dont own a Z1 ... Just want to let you know )
Also if you want you can get the new stock theme rework (not applied yet)
Cherrypick this:

For some screenshots look here (it is twrp for taoshan)

add to boardconfig:
TARGET_USERIMAGES_USE_F2FS := true
but that is of no use as long as the kernel dont support f2fs....
For kernel have a look here:

New Version online with f2fs support.
Hello @hawkeyexp, thanks for the update. Just migrated /data and /cache to F2FS using your TWRP. Everything works fine but I got the same problem as kentexcitebot mentioned on another thread. Fixed in the same way.
Thanks again for your works!

@hawkeyexp
2 ways to fix:
1.dont supply lenght to data in twrp.fstab
2. use newer make.f2fs version
(The actually used cant handle negative values)

Look forward to seeing the fix.
New version with fixed f2fs format of /data online.
Hello there. I just noticed that I can't boot into Recovery anymore. This seems to happen after migrated to f2fs /data and /cache using last version (08/09/15).
I tried re-flashing another TWRP build, also did a "fastboot erase recovery", both make on difference.
Any idea?

Sorry for my late.
Probably not the same cause, I got the issue since RR 5.5.2, and I used M5 kernel which doesn't have this issue.
It seems more related to f2fs filesystem, same RR 5.5.2, it appears only after migrated to f2fs.
out of curiosity I let the phone stay at stuck splash screen, see if any miracle.
Guess what, it boots into TWRP after 60-70s... I did a few trials it all boots after 6-70s. Strange enough.
hi thanks for your work!
after changing the fs on /data or /system or /cache TWRP cannot mount them.. :/
UPDATE: it was kernel-related. sorry! i flashed M5 and the fs is retained

My list of compiled Roms for Motorola Xoom

This is the forum for the roms I compile for Motorola Xoom.
I have nicknamed these future roms Moto-Rola for personal reasons. xD
I will try to make them faster and put some cute things on them, even if I start with KitKat versions.
As you all know, I am currently using some of Schischu's sources, I am just following his hard work and making it available for everyone.
This first rom is the Cyanogenmod 11 version for Motorola Xoom Wingray you already know.
I will compile next the Everest version, you will have to try it for me if I am able to do it. I do not have the everest version of the Motorola Xoom so...

Here are the links (up here) It is a dropbox folder with everything you need.
TWRP 3.0.1 recovery with sdcard support.
CM11 for wingray
Open gapps Kitkat pico version
Open gapps Kitkat nano version
Supersu.
Omnirom 4.4.4.
Thank you for your support!

Guys with wingray should tell us if they encounter problems. I have the everest, and can't try this.
I am grabbing this to try and get my winray going for the young bloke. I'll report back
---------- Post added at 10:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:18 AM ----------
loaded up fine.. but I didn't do the google account or anything as I figured I'd have to get the "fixed" apk for google play services - but installed version is 11.0.38 - I'll do a factory reset and try a full setup
It works ok with the gapps included in the folder.

What is this fixed apk that you are talking about please?
My Xoom is getting some gaaps stopped, google services stopped, etc that is driving me insane.

FWIW:
Manuellama you are a legend.
I installed these gaaps after a reinstall of cm11 and it does work great indeed. No more stopped services bull***
Thank you so much. I was so upset about loosing my Xoom. I have an Nvidia shield k1 but the Xoom is still a great device to have around.

Yep - flashed those files and seems 100% perrrrfect
Hi guys, thanks for the new build!
I would like a question, do I have to follow the procedures to in "BigPart Repartition Upgrade and Resource Center by realjumy" to format for bigpart?
I have a xoom GEDfied - It had a google official release. I am not sure if it was a UMTS or CDMA device before - it has a simcard slot.
I have tried the big part process many times and with no success - in the end, when flashing the CM 11 image, it says it is not a big part device... Is it because I am using wingray images?
Thanks very much!
In the dropbox folder there is a recovery you can flash, TWRP 3.0.1. with sdcard support...I suppose you need the bigpart thing to flash it.
But here it is how they did it for bigpart.

Yeah, I have already tried that tutorial (like 10 times) for bigpart, no success.
Maybe it is something with my hardware (I am not sure if it is gsm, cdma or wifi) - everybuild I try says I don't have bigpart partitioning.
I will wait for an everest build

The easier way to know what variant is your Xoom is to check the model number at the back.
The problem you are going to have with most of the late builds is that they need big partition. So you need to find the easy to partition your tablet.

I will attach a picture here, I have not found the variant, I guess it is a prototype unit.
Yeah, bigpart is necessary...

@jubarim See that? My model number is mz601 (Everest) check your model number at the back of the tablet.
Thanks munecito! Mine don't have this sticker, I will post a picture tonight.
Well. It will help if you tell us if yours is a wifi only model, LTE? Where did you buy it (country)? Does it have a branded rom installed? Anything at all to identify it.

Uploading everest build to the dropbox folder.
I am not 100% sure it will work, but please try it and tell me.
It will take 1 or 2 hours to upload so now it is still not there.

About 4 hours later and still not showing. Maybe the upload was interrupted.
Can't wait to try it.:good:
My internet failed, I will upload it now.
Everest uploaded.
I think it will work, but I am not 100% since I do not have an everest xoom.
Please try it, tell me if it works so I can put it on the main post.
I am going to test Everest. But I have a problem:
In the BigPart Repartition thread they say the following:
Put all needed resources on your microsd card! You will need the original TWRP 2.6.3.0 touch recovery from @runandhide05, TWRP 2.6.3.0 BigPart version, your desired rom, and the BigPart boot image that goes with your desired rom. The BigPart boot images can be found in the next section.
Click to collapse
So what versions of TWRP do I put on the SD card? The one from the beginning of the thread is BigPart version?
It is the Schischu TWRP 3.0.1 recovery with added sd card support. I always do
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
If recovery.img is the name of the recovery image.
I cannot guarantee it works.
