Long story short, my phone boots up and goes to a message, saying "authroized software has been found on your phone, please take to nearest A&T store for help, with an Secure Check Fail: Kernel Message in the top left hand corner. I tried different stock firmwares through odin and every attempt has failed. I am able to get into the stock android recovery not safestrap and also the download mode obviously. I am aware of the mf3 build but when i tried flashing a stock rom it fails it reads unknown volume path to sdcard1 and also esignature verification failed. I am out of ideas, please help if possilbe
Put the stock rom in ur desktop and use usb 2.0 port and then try again with odin.download original stock rom from sammobiles site.

After flashing the modem LPW through rom manager, my phone restarted and get stuck in a black screen after the S2 logo.
I can go into download mode but not in recovery, single solution would be try flash a rom through odin?

Please do not use ROM MANAGER
it has bricked many phones
flash the stock firmware back using odin ... it will be fixed
Hope you also reported the thread & asked mods to move it to Q&A as well as bringing the OP's attention to that thread ? Just sayin ;-) Because if you didn't, all you calling attention to that thread does is cause people to make duplicate threads in Q&A, making more headaches for mods (and more crap posts in the forum generally).

My best bet would be to flash back your stock ROM through Odin. I never use Rom Manager (it doesn't pick up that I have Clockworkmod Recovery installed, so I don't trust it ). I use Mobile Odin instead, it's worked flawlessly every time I've flashed a modem through it.
I am on stock NB1 using safe strap. I tried flashing KTSG4 Kernel and everything went fine . Until I booted up and when the device started I could not turn on WiFi .. I changed the build.prop file to false like it said to do and saved it . Rebooted and it still wouldn't turn on.
Things I have done 1. Flashed the kernel 2.Wipe cache Wipe Dalvik 3.Fix Permissions 4.Reboot 5. Changed boild.prop to false ... If there is something I am missing please let me know...I just bought the GS4 2 days ago and have been trying to learn what I need before posting .. Just wondering if there is a 4.4 kernel module I need to flash also.. I seen them for MF3 and Mk2 but not Nb1.. Any help would be much appreciated I also have knox removed . At least so it seems that I get no notifications from it

What is the reason that you keep creating threads without following what you are asked not to? I have already replied to your own very thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2776346 saying that the kernel cannot be changed. Yes, the kernel flash from recovery will "look" like it succeeds but actually it does nothing. You can only change the kernel by Odin flashing a Samsung signed kernel for the model.
Please read the All things ATT thread for more information about ATT SGH-I337 phone.

This reason I posted another question in the Q/A is because you didn't answer my ? . You did answer my question this time . now that I know I have to change the kernel via Odin I have no further questions . If I were to ask you where something was and you said "Its over there" and you didn't point in the direction of it then I would still be left with another question. So I just answered your question for you . Were even . I am just getting familiar with this device and only had it 2 days and now that I know this about having to flash the kernel in odin I really don't have any more questions. Thanks for the feedback

What was the current system you had NB1 Or NC1? I have reflashed my phone plenty of times and if the screen is turning on it's only soft bricked
By the way, you cannot unlock your bootloader! You must use safestrap 3.72 for 4.4.2 for a recovery
I guess it don't matter. Check out this thread

Sounds like you need to flash Odin then start over with the root and rom process. Start here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=55338138

thank you for pointing me to this post . i was actually able to get out of that black screen by holding the power button n volume button :good::highfive:
if you are mdl and rooted with a good recovery, you got that message after flashing cwm or any other recovery/rom/kernel that is not loki'd.
research loki-doki. it is an exploit we on mdl need to flash after flashing a non loki'd "file". it bypasses sammy's security check.
most TW roms here in att forum are already loki'd
a lot of like TWRP 2.5.0.2 recovery. i have flashable zip if interested--if you do flash it don't fomat data where you have to select "Yes" and if get a warning root was lost, tap on "Do Not Fix". a couple bugs in it that have been fixed in newer versions, but other than that I have no issues flashing any roms--
:good:

Use the rootable one in your case. See the other link I gave you also. You can't flash Twrp on your device. You'll need to use safestrap
