What radio do you have? I side loaded 4.4 and upgraded radio to .97. The KitKat radio doesn't seem to work well on 4.3. You can find a flashable 4.3 radio (.84) on xda or extract it from the factory image and flash with fastboot (preferred method for me).
Good luck.

Unable to hear anything in a phone call.

Hi all,
love my Nexus 4 to bits but in the past few days I have not been able to hear anything whether I am making or receiving a phone call.
thought it might be a hardware issue but Viber and other apps is working...
i factory resetted the phone but it has not resolved the issue since...
add to the pain LG is refusing to have it serviced in Singapore.
could it be the update to 4.2.2 from 4.2.1 that is causing the problem?
have googled but no one seems to having same issues like me.
R: Unable to hear anything in a phone call.

I think you should flash another rom guy

Will 4.3 remove the LTE featured I flashed on 4.2.2

Thanks in advance guys!

It will. 4.3 isn't fully compatible with the LTE enabled, older radio. People are messing with hybrid radios to fix the incompatibility issues, but that's still a work in process i.e. bugs.

My OTA update said 4.3 was ready to install, but when I clicked install nothing seemed to happen. I am rooted and have TWRP installed as my recovery. Any suggestions?
And now when I check for an update, my phone says I'm up to date but I'm still on 4.2.2.

You have to do it manually by use fastboot method. OTA is not gonna work when you flash the TWRP as your Recovery.
2 method: 1. fastboot flash your recovery back to stock one OTA will work. 2. Flash your N4 with fastboot to get 4.3 ROM.
I went back to the stock 4.2.2 rom and I'm not rooted anymore, but now the stock recovery doesn't work. So how can I update to 4.3?

For zip use google may be u càn find. Or if u can flash boot.img from factory image package after wiping cache and dalvik cache.
Always do a nandroid backup before flashing..

I looked around and I couldn't find a flashable version for you (maybe I didn't use the correct words in my search). Your best bet is the factory images where you can get it as a .img file and flash it via fastboot.

Should I update and root Android 4.3

I haven't update 4.3 yet but I want to try out the latest PA rom. Should I just wait until it becomes stable or just factory restore and head into 4.3 and root. Also does nandroid works on Android 4.3 or i am going to lose everything?

I think this is more of your dilemma than an actual issue.
As long as your custom recovery works, nandroid should work.
Should you wait till it becomes stable? Up to you.
Just factory restore and head into 4.3? Up to you.
I dont see why you would wanna OTA to 4.3 and then flash PA. Why not just flash PA straight?
I use Multi Boot. PA is a solid ROM. CM10.2 is too. I boot between them. If I stayed with stock not possible to do this.

Nope. If you flash the latest PA, you would be wiping your ota-ed 4.3. So there would be no difference at all. You do however, need to flash your new radio for 4.3

Restore Apps after clean update to AOKP 4.3?

Hi, I'm currently running the last AOKP nightly based on JB4.2.2.
Every time I try to update to a more recent, 4.3.1 based version, I fail miserably
Even after a full wipe I get bootloops, the setup wizard crashes, or titanium backup fails to restore much needed (non-system) settings / apps. I get lots of freezes or random reboots along the way...
Am I the only person with such problems?! I found mentions that root is somewhat broken since 4.3 and that current root applications are still unfit to compensate... Is this true?
How can I update to a newer, AOKP based Rom? Is there a official or unofficial version that is stable enough to serve as daily driver? Do I need additional apks? How can I restore my titanium backups?
Thanks in advance!

I flashed the .84 radio but have no new bootloader... Where can I get it? Can I still downgrade to 4.2.2 if the update fails?

Here for the bootloader and if you have a backup of your 4.2.2 rom you are ok.

Make sure you have the latest version of your Recovery and bootloader before flashing the rom.
