See, I have my G2 D800 AT & T, about three weeks ago. and tried to check if I have any OS upgrade, but to do it via OTA tells me that the machine is not registered, register it on the LG USA and nothing, always the same message.
Today I tested through LG PC Suite and threw me this message "To find an error while checking updates, please check that this standard state, then try again" anyone can guide me to see what could be my mistake ... . would be appreciated ...

Sorry for the possible errors in the writing, but as I have a basic english, I used google translator, and he sometimes modifies a little the text. Let's go to the point.
Guys, is the following. I changed the ROM of my android (LG Optimus L3) to CM9, but its bugs were bothering me, and then I decided to change. In that exchange,I ended up installing a ROM worse, she was not stable, full of errors, and then decided to return to the original ROM. Was in exchange ROM process that started the problem.I was trying to install the firmware V10D, and the KDZ was reporting error, but the tutorial I used said that this was normal error information and that I do not disconnects the phone from the computer until "FINISHED" appears on the KDZ, but I stubbornly and much IDIOT in subject withdraw before the hour and then tried the process again (I THINK THIS BROUGHT ALL THAT PROBLEM).
In another attempt appeared the same error message in KDZ but I wanted to wait and let the process going on the computer and went to the kitchen (I say this just to you know out that might have appeared some warning, but I did not see) when I returned the phone was off, I saw that the KDZ had the phrase "finished" then disconnected the phone, he was ready already "broken" tried and tried but he did not call, I connected the phone to the computer again but no signal, remove battery, I tried to get into "emergency mode", tried the hard reset but it just did not work. Will the process badly done by me blew the motherboard? HELP ME, PLEASE. :crying::crying::crying::crying:

Hi there,
I installed the LG software update app, and when I plugged in my phone it did some checking and said that there was an update available.
So I clicked OK, waited for ages for the kdz package to download, and then it started the update.
Problem is, it gets to 14% on the phone screen (20% on my computer) and then it hangs for a while. Eventually the PC app says "upgrade stopped due to an error". Now my phone is constantly stuck on the Firmware Upgrade screen, even when I restart it, and I can't even ADB onto it, or use Linux to view it (as mentioned in a different post).
I can't get into download mode or recovery mode... just this Firmware Upgrade screen.
Any ideas what I can do? I stupidly thought that - as it was an official upgrade - it wouldn't screw up my phone... how stupid do I feel ???
Anything I can try? My phone is an LG G2 International (D802) version.
Thanks a lot,
JM
@MOD, sorry - I realised my OP was in the wrong place, so moved it here

Hi there,
Nope - can't get into any other mode than this "Update" mode... gonna try a few tools. Was trying to salvage my stuff, but it's not the end of the world to wipe it.
Thanks,

Problem solved! Try the .TOT method shown here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
The .KDZ method didn't work for me, from this post or any other. The .TOT method worked first time!
Just come back to the G6 after a break.. I picked up a Pre-owned one from local CEX store, which worked fine in the store when testing it...
With it being a pre-owned device.. I put it through "Error Recovery" in LG Bridge.. However, it wouldnt install the 20c stock rom or reboot from "Firmware update"... the rotating arrows on the "firmware update" kept freezing, until LGBridge timed out..
And no matter how many times I reset it "Vol Up + Pwr", the progress bar on the G6 kept resetting to "0%" as the rom was installing on Bridge.. and then timing out... However, in the small status window on the G6 inself it kept reading "Unknown : r/ rw/ "...
So I installed LGUp and Uppercut, to "Force" the 20C update... yet it kept doing the same thing... "Unknown r / rw" and resetting the progress bar...
So I hit upon an Idea... I downloaded "110l" android 7... to force a rollback.. to fully "Jump start" the rom process.. this got to 50%.. and the G6 update locked up again...
I was swearing by now and starting to look for my reciept.. with a view to refunding it..
Then I tried once more with 20C through LGUP, hoping my Android 7 Rollback attempt had formatted / cleared the cache.. and Woohoo, it worked... . and its now up and running prefectly on 8,0 / Aug 18..
So, for future reference and a learning perspective here...... can someone please shed some light on what happened to my G6 and had the seller of the phone tampered with it, flashed something/unlocked bootloader ...
Thanks all
