Like Experia Phones with *#*#7378423#*#*, is there a code for G2 to check and test the hardware for any defects?
Hi,
Yes: 3845#*802# where 802 is your G2 model (800, 802, 803, etc...). But if I'm not wrong some models doesn't have this menu (hidden menu) like Verizon (?). Search in this forum to confirm and maybe to find an alternative. But I doubt you have a Verizon one
just replace the @@@ from 3845#*@@@# the code with your model no
sprint and Verizon is 980

Just received my DZ (woo-hoo ! ).
On my phone (European model DZ), looking under the battery cover, it seems to have a model designation of "PC10110". Based on my previous HTC phone (TP2) I am pretty sure this will be a model designation which is different on the G2, and I'm wondering whether it's also different for NAM DZs and also Asian DZs.
So what have you guys got on your G2s ?
Anyone ? Please
How many different G2 do we have and where?
What are the actual (non sw) differences among them?

Well I suppose there is 2 main streams of G2 at the moment the D803/802 international version/verizon/at&t and F320s/f/L which is the korean variant. The main difference is that korean variant has removable but smaller battery at 2610mah and the micro sd card slot. The LTE for korean variant might not work with the US counterparts due to different frequency.

So we already have at least 5 versions here:
D803
D802
F320s
F320f
F320L
As I live in Europe I would like to know the differences between D802 and D803.
[UPDATE]
I found that Wikipedia has some details, but too few about the actual differences.
Not to mention the Verizon version happen to be a wee bit thicker as it supports wireless charging.

Found this is gsmarena, seems like they are available for different country and catered for different teleco I suppose, specs wise all the same
LG G2 D802 for UK
LG G2 D802TA for Australia
LG G2 D803 for Canada
I live in Europe and im getting ready to buy an LG G2 so i automatically search the web for possible issues with the device.
And everywhere i read about problems with the device it's almost always about an Verizon model, and now i know that the model of Verizon is adjusted on the hardware and software.
So i was wondering what Verizon could be possibly doing that causes these problems?
And can anyone confirm that their international device or device from other operators are fault-free?
I'd bet there are a lot more Verizon G2 owners than all other variants combined.

Verizon uses cdma while the rest of the world use gsm. also the radio frequency will be different.
I already buy a VSW G2, and i usually use it in China.
The VSW G2 can support every GSM network and but not for all CDMA network.
The calling and message is prove to be normall.
Does all phone cases for D802 (International) work with F320 or other G2 variants? How about the verizon variant? It is shaped differently and the back buttons and camera looks different. Does the case still fit for it?
Theres actually a korean version of G2 that looks like the verizon variant. What model is it?
Thanks so much
Hello,
I recently received an LG G6 model # US997 and have been trying to activate it on Sprint.
Sprint Customer Service and retail employees are unable to add the IMEI to their system/inventory.
I've been told even though the phone supports the Sprint LTE, band 25 it will not work on the Sprint network.
My questions:
-Is this true or just a lie so they don't have to deal with a technical issue?
-Would swapping the modem stack allow me to activate on Sprint or no?
-Do I have any course of action or do I have a beautiful paperweight?
Thanks for the help!
