aww man..so what happened did the cubes just fall down without being able to move them?
i think skyfire is meant to show you a rendering a the site you are visiting, but not giving you the actual control.
whatever happened to deepfish by the way?

jep there is, and the game works with it just fine. the bricks are controllable via the onscreen keyboard or the hardware keyboard.

Hi,
I saw a demo of the keyboard app on the Sony Ericsson X10 phone and it seems to be pretty nice!
Anyone know if it's possible to extract the app so it can be used in other android devices?
Edit: Added screens
not many of us even have the device yet... so i'm not entirely sure how hard anything will be without root.
secondly i'm not sure this has much to do with android development.. might be better off in the themes and aps section .. being that you are asking about an app?

Anyone can extract the input.apk for install with x10?
I am buying a x10 in a non-chinese market and i am afraid that it doesn't come with chinese input..
I bought my phone in Belgium and it has a Japanese keyboard.
the keyboard of the x10 is not good. I'm now using the HTCkeyboard which I have download here on th Xda forum.

I agree, the first thing I did was install the HTC keyboard, I miss the left and right arrows however.

is it possible to port the new keyboard to the tab?
We won't know until it's released and we can have a look.

I installed it using root explorer. Obviously the keys are smaller than they should be but it looks really good. Auto correct is working great as well.

nice can u post up a screen shot wondering how small it looks lol
Ill have to do it when I get home. It isn't overly small and looks pretty sleek. Ill post a pic a little later when im done work. You should just install it and check it out. I can almost guarantee its not to small for the tab. It actually helps me type better. Its as wide as the whole screen just not as tall as the stock keyboards but yields no issue. I actually prefer the size.

So now we got the keyboard... how about porting the whole system now?
No seriously, what can we do with the system.img from the sdk?
I'm downloading the SDK now. I'll pick apart as much as I can. I want to see if that fancy new launcher will be an easy port. I'm going to try the keyboard out on my Tab and myTouch 4g now.

The launcher is on the market already. I tried it last night and it works fine. I still like LPP more though.

Really? Should I just search Launcher2.3
The new SDK threw me through a loop putting ADB in \platform-tools!
Search for Gingerbread Launcher.

Wow. I fail at life! Thanks.
Anyone else a swype fan out there?
New 3.0 beta is up!
Un-install 'swype' app, update swype installer, install 3.0! Enjoy the new feature-y goodness!
Plays much better with the new gingerbread text input with horizontal word choice window!
EVO 0003, CM7 stable, Tiamat, Vipermod.
Where can I get it?

for the love of god somebody help me roll back. i hate the new beta...the menu lags coming in sometimes and i cant makes faces like ";P" bc it turns into "; P"
You mean a new update to the 3.0 Beta? Or are you just late to the party because this has been out for a bit now.
It's so much better!!! My only complaint is I wish it looked like the gingerbread keyboard. The GB keys are sexy.
How does it compare to FlexT9? Longtime Swype user, finally bought Flex a month ago after getting sick of the popup word choice window in Swype. Flex is nice but I miss the little shortcuts in Swype (like slide from , to space to insert ", ") etc.

I'm not late genius. It's called testing the new update for a while and then making my own opinion.

i'm running Cyanogen nightly87
edit: nevermind, didn't see the part i had to uninstall the keyboard first
Still not a fan been trying since 3.0 was released
from my phone duh
I can uninstall the swype installer but won't allow me to uninstall swype application. I'm unrooted on 2.3 and I guess it's part of the system apps. Help needed?

It's definitely a lot better. I like that you can choose to add a word to the dictionary instead of it just being automatically added
Thought I would share this AOSP keyboard...it's been my go to keyboard after I tire of stock or other keyboards for my last several phones. Works great on the HTC10. Sorry, but can't credit it, because I really don't remember where I got it.
