I tried stick mount and OTG helper. Unfortunately, no luck. Anyone know how to mount an HDD on sa Samsung Note?
Hi
1. Install first paragon drivers from Google play (support for HFS+ exFAT and ntfs). In this case I have chosen exFAT but that could be HFS or ntfs.

2. Then buy this cable (see attachment). Micro b usb 3.0 male to usb 3.0 female
3. Plug your HDD (it should be usb 3)
4. Enjoy your 1TB without external power supply (see pictures)!

hm..that picture doesn't quite show a connector a flash drive
hmmm....i dont know any software, wich can manage this.
but this is an interresting feature.
with the right drive and an external power supply for it that would make a very cheap "music" drive for someone
nice idea if you can get it to work
If you mean if your mobile can read from a usb flash drive or something like that, that discussion has been here. The conclusion: windows mobile does not support usb drives and because of that it is going to be a hell of a job if it is even possible. A driver has to be written.
it require usbHost to work very few htc pdas support that
Athena does
o2 flame does (it's not htc though)
cant think of any other

work on moto g xt1032?
I have a USB type C memory stick. I want to move files from the phone to PC, and vice versa.
When I use the Nexus media importer, I just get waiting for media, am I missing something?
Does the USB have to be in a specific format?
See screenshot.

exFAT is a recommended format. It won't read NTFS as far as I know
Think there's something wrong with the memory stick itself, won't be found using the USB b end on three windows machines and a linux machine. Argh. Thanks Amazon
Check if your phone/tablet support a USB OTG device or No without root
OTG Checker let you to check,
- Check Device OS on USB OTG: Your device operating system or custom ROM has the USB OTG API?
- OTG chacker it's work without root permissions so you dont need the root in your device
Check if USB host functions are enabled on your Android-powered device.
Starting from Android 4, applications can use functions of USB host, but many devices have this functionality disabled

Did anyone try to connect a Flash drive of any kind to the v20?
Rooted or not when I do it nothing pops up. When I try it on my wife S7, shows the Flashdrive fine.
I tried 3 types of USB C - Mirco USB Adapter than connecting 2 types of Mirco USB to USB C Adapter
Of course a few Flash drive. Only thing I didn't try is straight USB C to Full Size USB
No luck.
