Hi,
is there something wrong with my device or is samsung quality this bad at the headphone amplifier?
when i add so much volume the buzz noises comes too loud n NO BASS n it's look like MONO (NOT STEREO).
In galaxy s2 the sound is more rich and have more bass than galaxy mega 5.8. With SG Mega 5.8 Duos it sounds like I'm listening some cassette from early 80's or even worse.
i've tried:
-use stock earphone
-use stock galaxy s2 earphone (of course this earphone audio is very heavenly on s2)
-update to latest firmware ota (yes,this improve, now bass are hearable,but still bad)
-use high quality 360kbps mp3 (this music is very good in my pc speaker)
any fix please?
i heard this problem is on galaxy s4 too(?)

The sound of the S4, I9505, crackle! I have Shure SE215 (20-ohm) and Marley Redemption Song (16-ohm) on these head-phones with volume from about 3/4 onwards the audio crackles(seem fart!)! S4, I9505, do not croak with the original head-phones samsung, but the quality is really poor! On my S3, I9300, these headphones, Shure and Marley, not croaks at all, they sound perfectly!
Other users on the Italian forum have observed the same anomaly, any help?

Hi people do you listen to music on your Note 3 via headphones ? i know most of you do and it's a dum question but what do you think of the music playback quality ? As i'm a bit disappointed with the sound playback, why im saying this i use to own a Samsung Galaxy S4 E300S Korean version and music playback was simply amazing on that device the deep bass and clear treble simply was unrivaled for example if im listening to music on my Note 3 i have to turn it all the way up im at one or two clicks away from full volume and it don't sound that good with the S4 E300S. i would only need to turn it up 3 to 4 clicks and it sounds frigging awesome. Any more clicks up i would go deaf i mean its so dam loud it's simply astonishing how much more powerful the sound card is in the Galaxy S4 E300S. Right my question is i don't think im gone deaf is there anyway i can tweak the sound card on my N9005 ? i am rooted ? Thanks people
Never mind people it was the gay Samsung headphones I was using that didn't preform too my standard as I found some old iPhone 3GS headphones they sound awesome with the N9005

Stop using ur loudspeaker in the metro. Use ur headphones!

In my opinion, the quality of the I9301I beauty loud speaker is very good. It's better than my other phones like Galaxy S7500, Nokia 113, iPhone 1 and others. Overall points for this devace (Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo I9301I) is 9/10. It's worth it!
u are right. the speaker of the 9301 has an ugly quality. sounds like a metal can rolling over the hill ... i don't know the quality of the 9300, but my old 9000 and 9001 speaker is much better than this one.

I got a tab s2 (t713 variant) few days ago but i was very disappointed of the output quality from it's stereo speakers , i have a samsung note 8 which is 3 years-old and still provide much more better quality than the tab s2 and as i'm a music lover i used to spend many hours every day listening to music so i kept trying to find a solution (an optimization) for the speakers quality and i came out to find this awesome mod :[eXtremeBeats Aural Maximizer™]

I am going to give it a try. From your experience, is it better sound from its speaker or from its headphone? I don't use headphone with my Tab S2.

i don't use headphones too . it make an improvement in the speaker sound

This will be good. I shall turn it up loud and test that tonight when I am home.
I installed the mod and set the selinux to permissive, froze the soundalive (can't disable so freeze it with Titanium BK), Samsung Music still plays well, but how do I know the mod is working?

You should feel the difference according to the developer

i installed beats and dobly atomos and viper. From what i can tell nothing will make these cheap speakers sound better. S2 2014 has more bass but doesnt get as loud. S2 2015 gets a little louder but sacrifices bass. In general my note 4 or 5 speak is 3 or 4 time better than these junk.

i agree
When i want good sound, i stream music from my S2 to my vintage 1980s stereo speakers with a 10 inch woofer, 4 inch midrange and 2 inch tweeter. The S2 is so thin, the speakers are probably 3 mm. Is it any wonder the sound is crappier than a cheap pair of earbuds?
