Notification delay bug is partially fixed with the 4.3 update(.84 radio) but not completely gone.. Delay bug is related with RADIO and NOT with kernel..
you can use unofficial franco kernel by ziddey.
Press thanks if I helped you..

I've heard that Notification delay bug was still present in JWR version of android build, but not in JSS.. That's why i'm asking CM10.2 should be JSS right ? And Franco says that his Kernel uses stock wifi driver .. I'm confuse haha thanks for helping !

Kernels are very ROM type specific. We need to know what ROM you're on. Then we can help you.
i tested rom ViperTouch v1.0.1 | Sense 4.1 | 4.0.4 and yoshi 4.1, but i have a problem myscreen about 1-2 minute flash and go on ,i try fix but i can't , i don't know why and i think to up kernel , i don't know where download kernel mytouch 4g 4.1
If you're having the screen flickering problem, it is kernel related. However, it is across all of the kernels on this device. At least, as far as I know. Sorry
Use an old rom that uses 2.x kernel or switch to GB.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
thanks everyone , i will try it

I don't have screen flickering on CM 10.1 with the 3.0.57 kernel. You can try that if you want a newer version of Android.

Some phones get flickering, some don't. Mine never did. Did yours flicker on other ROMs?

i have screen flickering and camcorder problem on cm10.1 with 3.0.57 with mt4g. may be new kernel will fix this problem.
My never flicked with GB, but the moment I flash a ICS or JB, the flicker is on. Some said that it is in Sense framework and kernel, but I do not have Sense. With CM10 4.2.1 and .60 kernel, the flicker is on. Got to be patience. Some day, some one, will find solution.

[Q] %95 of kernels break my camera.

It seems on pretty much any rom with a custom kernel breaks my camera. When I focus it goes all screwy and crashes. Changing the GPU govenor dosent help. Any ideas how to stop this? Even on JWR with a JWR kernel it happens. Im stuck using stock 4.2.2 with stock kernel because it kills my camera.

wait wait! are you using JWR or JSS on a 4.2.2 rom?
update to 4.3 and when you get it now flash a kernel JWR if you are in stock rom if not and you are using Carbon rom, Rasbeanjelly,Cyanogenmod use JSS (JLS now) if you are on Paranoid , PSX , Purity flash JWR kernel then.
this should be fix your problem on camera!

Lol. I know. I was just saying even if I use a kernel written for specifically JWR on JWR it still bug's. Basically any kernel with any rom other than stock breaks my camera. Im aware about the different kernel and rom types.

[Q] CM10.2 freeze

Hi all,
I have CM10.2 nighly (JLS36G build) + Franco Kernel 188 JSS.
Since I flashed CM10.2, I started noticing random freezes when I write something with the on-screen keyboard.
It lasts 5-6 seconds and then everything starts working again.
I remember that I read somewhere that this issue happens on JSS/JLS builds... but I'm wondering if some fix/workaround has been already found. Any solution while we wait KitKat?
Thank you.

Those are called Deadlocks. It's a bug in the AOSP Mako source. You solve it by using a Hybrid ROM, like PA, or others.

Thank you. So there is no way to solve it in CM 10.2 or other AOSP-based roms.

if you are on 4.3, a jss rom and jss kernel will fix the issue. jwr roms didnt have the fix.

Official CM12 D802 - Strange CPU activity when screen is Off

Hello guys. Can someone help me explain this picture (see attached)
Brand new D802, rooted, flashed TWRP and the CM12, latest nightly, and I'm having this weird activity when screen is off, draining a lot of battery. Any clues?
Thanks
Try a custom kernel like Render's kernel and see if the problem is fixed. If it's still not fixed then maybe it's a bug in the latest nightly, right now I'm using the 20150128 nightly and Render's kernel R9 and I don't have any issue with battery consumption.

Thanks for the tip. Haven't tried it yet, I looked up and I saw that there was a drain from the phone sensors and LED notifications, and so I uninstalled Google Fit and also uninstalled Lightflow for the LED. Now it seems to be fixed, too bad because I used those.
