I just got my ghost armor in the mail today, it is actually front, back, and then smaller side and top, bottom pieces. I'll see about posting some pics when I install it. Not going to do it tonight, am very tired and don't want to screw it up.
Someone in the Invisible Shield post promised to post pics, but never did. I too was really curious how it looks, since I have never seen one in person.

Pictures for Invisible Shield (Full Body) on Fuze
Hi all,
Here is my Fuze that i covered with Full Body Invisible Shield. I like it, made it feel rugged and i can really put it at any surface now without worrying about scratching the sides. The four points or should i say eight points of the phone corners are not that protected. The IS has been covering my phone for almost 1 month.
I also increased the brightness and contrast of the pictures when i uploaded it so you guys could see the IS better.
I bought this so called "free lint cloth" from WalMart, but lo and behold, it's not actually lint free, it HAS lots of lint when i used it. So on the back of my Fuze, you will see a few white dots, those are the lints from the cloth. Well, lesson learn, gotta make sure it's lint free cloth
Hope the pictures help. But overall, i really like my IS.
thx for the pics - i wish someone would jsut release a decent non-glossy backcover replacement already for the fuze - i dont want to deal with protecting the back faceted stuff at all.
Do you find the screen protecter to reduce the screen sensitivity/scroll speed at all? The stock screen protector ive found to do this a little bit with my stylus input.

Looks good. I will very likely order one as soon as I get the Fuze. Your pics definitely helped me make my decision. It's hard to believe Invisible Shield doesn't have pics like that on their site, so customers can get a real look at what it looks like installed.
Thanks again!

It felt kinda weird after i first applied it, for the first week i would say, the IS feels alien sort of to the Fuze, but after that i let it cured under a desk lamp every night. During this time, i almost think about removing it and not using it, but i let it go and just wait after a few days and voila, it's really becoming the skin of my Fuze.
The screen becomes a little bit sticky with the stylus, i do have to get used to it, but after the first week, everything is good.
Eh. invisibleSHIELD doesn't do it for me. I'm ordering bodyguardz. It looks to unprecise.

Thank you so much for posting those pictures, it does worry me a bit that the corners are exposed, you would think that the corners would be the first to hit the ground when dropped but the good thing is that IS doesnt add bulk and allows the fuze to keep its good looks , leaning towords IS but have to do just a lil bit more research

would you consider bodyguardz has the most accurate precission compared to IS, ghost armor, and whatever else? I'm still trying to find a skin that is _specifically_ made for fuze and covering the corners as well.
i am thinking of getting bodyguardz.. been using them ever since
dont like Invisbile shield anymore but the back is good. front sucks
ghost armor never heard of them... might try it.
martinoverlay don't have it for fuze ):
best skinever = don't have it for fuze ):
blah hopefully i can find a discount to get a good deal :d
Insible Shield in Malls
I'm in the LA area and Invisible Shield has kiosk in some of the malls. You can se/touch/feel, etc.. it first hand. I looked at it and am going to have them (they cover the phone in about 45 minutes) my FUZE.
@cyberblue
So far, none of them covered the corners >.> none that I could find. This is because it would peel at corners and come off because they are round and not dead flat straight like the diamond is. There might be later. I ordered Bodyguardz after looking at the pictures and seeing that it looks much tougher and protects MUCH more area. and the invisible shield looks like crap. It is not fit for the fuze. Looking at the pics posted by someone on this forum, You'll notice that the screen protector and the front panel covers are not curved for the fuze. They're just straight.
***EDIT***
I'm curious. Since invisibleSHIELD usually has the correct dimensions and to the looks of this picture, it seems that the OP bought a touch pro body cover instead of a fuze body cover. I think that is a camera hole by the AT$T logo. But I'm not sure. I'll pm the poster of these pictures.
Pic:
Yea,
I did buy the Touch Pro GSM version of IS. Indeed, there is a hole in my AT&T logo, the IS had hole in it, i should have just put the small IS holeto cover it , but my mistake, i threw it out and i forgot about it.

I wish, I tried putting on a InvisibleSHIELD last week and that was a disaster.
With the keyboard out and texting my fingers resting behind the display keep peeling up one of the clear plastic pieces. They look as though they are meant to be removed. The middle one even looks to have a tab. ???
Indeed. I didn't notice it until you told me. My advice would be to leave them there as long as they are still undamaged. They are probably there for a reason.

Ok, ok!!!! It was just the fact that they are a bit under the other half and they don’t stop it from working. Not holding something close while in transit or what not. Sometimes I’ve even seen the removal of such things documented, like on printers and such. Don’t get me started on the battery cover and the paranoia enduing cracked/paint chip threads. I thought they may be needed for spacing. Something is putting little rub marks on the return key.

Chuckle. Perhaps it improved the washing ability of the machine?
I also removed the stickers - seeing they have the handy "pull me" tab. Did think twice though, as in "leave the factory stickery on the screen until you get a brando ultraclear screen protector" vibe. That was of course until I thought, perhaps they might get stuck in the mechanism, and anyway, no one looks at the back anyway cause 50% it's closed, and when it's open the screen's on the other side (no insult - just my thought process).
Seriously though, I think it's awesome that they were there - yet another indication of a slick phone. (not just the front which is protected from scratches until the customer gets it.

Really?
What sort of marks - maybe you have a picture?
I haven't noticed anything, and anyway - there should be enough clearance between the screen and the keyboard when it slides back and forth.. Unless of course it's the protector which is making the wear?
I am also getting "rub" marks, and i removed the plastic on day 1.
Not only on the return key, but also on the tab key.
It may also be on the windows key,and also the ok key, but its a bit early to say yet.
My phone will get some abuse, as i work in the building/Landscaping trade, and sand and grit is always finding its way into my pockets at work.
Also, i tend to keep my phone in a case, in my inside jacket pocket, and i would guess that it is being squeezed together quite a bit in daily motion. This might be closing the gap between keyboard and screen sections of the phone, thus causing the rubbing, and marking i am experiencing.
Hopefully in a few months, spare cases, and/or keypads should be available to buy, and i can restore my phone to its new glory. I have done this for all of my previous phones.
Why can't people just leave things as they are? I, for one, am leaving the plastic bits on the back as it makes no sense to me what so ever to peel them off.
Hi,
Unfortunately, today I scratched my phone. To the left of the trackball I have a somewhat minor scratch in the metal chassis of the device. It's not as deep as an engraving would be on the back of the phone. So I am hoping it can be removed easily. Has anyone had experience with removing scratches from the metal or maybe even removing engraving ? I really want to fix this :-(
Probably those polishing stuff works, but i've only tested them on the iphone's chrome sides. But they're only good for removing hairline scratches
Battery acid, also that DIY stylus might help too if you rub it on there hard enough.
But seriously, try car buffer or if it isnt rooted just tell HTC that your phone is getting horrible 3g service and you want a replacement

I've heard of people using a gray-ish permanent marker...
Either way, once you get it fixed up, I highly suggest getting a BSE (or another skin).

Only $8. And I'd say worth more than 10 times that for how good it looks and protects!
Personally I like the N1 naked, its just so damn sexy on it's own
putting it side by side on my iPhone 3GS makes the N1 look like a supermodel next to an obese.... you get what I'm saying

It looks even better with a BSE on, trust me.
My buddy at work got an N1 and we put ours side by side. Everyone agreed that mine looked WAY better. The BSE gives it a badass gun metal look Check out the link at the top of the Poll thread to see pics of it "in action".

While ur install was definitely first rate..a lot of us like the stock, matte finish as well as the feel of the phone. So it's just a matter of preference.
That being said I'd at least use a screen protector.
chances are i wont do this. i wish i could have tried this on my damaged (had to pay insurance for new one) before i sent it back, but what if you got like some clear silicone or something, and put just enough around the crevice around the edge of the screen to fill that crevice/gap in smooth, so dust wouldnt get caught in there? if you're neat and careful, i think it could come out good, and in the event of a warranty exchange, i dont think they'd even notice it.
just an idea, like i said, i probably will NOT do it lol. may ill try it on an old phone that has a similar style crevice.

Are you being serious haha? Who just happens to have clear silicon just lying around? Do you honestly think Verizon wouldn't notice such an obvious modification to the hardware of the phone? I for one will definitely pass and would not recommend anyone trying it LOL.

lol since clear silicon is a scarce resource? it can be had at home depot for a few dollars lmao..
i said it was just an idea, and honestly i dont think they'd see it. im not talking about gobbing it on there.....would hardly be any at all. just a hair line to fill inside that gap to keep dust from falling inside it.
Do you really have an issue with getting dust in the crevice? It's not that huge of a gap and mine has remained clean with me doing much, and I work in a manufacturing facility with plenty of dust. Just saying, not sure how you are getting that much dust there in the first place for it to make that much of a difference.

not bad, but little pieces of dust get in there from my pockets, wood dust when working in the garage, etc.
the only place I've noticed stuff getting stuck is right below the speaker
I have an original phone delivered when they first came out... no dust problem with my phone and I pocket it all the time.
If you put a Seidio case that's 3 layers thick and a screen protector on the thing I highly doubt you'd even notice the crevice ever again.
I would do it if I wasn't lazy.
You could get this vinyl cover in black and you won't even be able to notice its there, but it does cover the edge of the screen to prevent dust.

Yeah, but the only things I bought didn't relate to my droid at all haha.
I understand exactly what you are saying with a hairline application but I can assure you they will notice the silicone and there is no telling what kind of damage it would do when some of the silicone leaks through to the screen. im guessing thats where it is, i have an otterbox commuter and it covers everything up. just invest in an otterbox commuter and if you don't care for a lot of bulk and some problems and you're really hard on your phone get the defender series.
I feel the gap around the screen is something the designers of the phone should have left out but no need to fill it in. The cases I've been using prevents most debris from clogging it up.

Was rushing home this evening in the blistering cold and rain which we have in London at the moment. Got to the front door to take out the keys and then it happened.... I had dropped my z force face down onto the cold concrete floor :crying:
My heart sunk... I wasn't sure if I wanted to actually see what damage had been done. All the miles this phone had travelled around the world to come into my hands could have all been for nothing at this moment.
I tried to ignore the sick feeling in my stomach as I picked up the phone.....
I observed the screen.....Nothing, completely fine.
I check the edges and to my surprise it actually seemed fine. At this point the sick feeling in my guts had gone. I had a sigh of relief until I inspect a little closer to find really small scratches on the top right corner of the bumper and bottom right corner too.
Anyway my question is I was thinking to actually cover these scratches up in some way using a very fine brush maybe but I just have no idea what kinda paint i'd need and what kinda shade of grey this bumper is. My paint knowledge is zero so anyone with a bit of help would be much appreciated.
