G-Tab2 7.0 P3113 & Odin 3.07 issues - Galaxy Tab 2 General

I am rooting a G-Tab 2 7" P3113 that was given to me and having an issue. It is on JB 4.2.2 OTA and I succesfully did Chainfires Root method, but when I go to flash TWRP 2.6.3.0 in ODIN (was using 3.07, but also tried on 1.85 that came with Chainfires root download) whenever I try to load the TWRP.md5 it causes ODIN to go "Not Responding" status on me. And I've used ODIN hundreds of times, albeit never on this device, and never had this problem. Which my other issue which I've never ran into is, now I am stuck in Download mode on the G-Tab, and since I cant just pull the battery out and restart the phone, I don't know how to rest the phone so I can get back to Android.
So if anyone can help me figure out what's going on with ODIN that would be great. I have v3.09 as well but haven't tried running it on there, and I also tried a older version of TWRP and that didn't work either, just keeps going Non-Responsive on me.

Issue resolved

Sorry for the double post, I am having some issues with my PC right now, and it's not liking XDA forums right now.

Failed CF-Auto-Root - Phone won't boot now.. need some help please

Hi There,
I just bought a Rogers i337m S4 yesterday. This is my first experience with a S4. I have used a Note 2 in the past with some experience with Odin/Samsung however.
I want to flash the Google Play Edition 4.4.4 rom on it to get rid of Touchwiz.
First step is to root the phone.
I downloaded ODIN 3.07, download the CF-Auto-Root, extrated to get the .tar.md5 file, and followed the steps to a T... the update failed and now my phone doesn't turn on. It goes directly into Download mode on the phone when powered on.
I'm sort of freaking out as I can't afford another phone right now. Anyways with the Note II, I could simply flash the complete firmware from SamMobile via Odin.
Any ideas why this failed? I used a Sony Xperia USB Cable - would that be why?
I am downloading the NE1 4.4.2 Rogers Firmware now - and just downloaded Odin 3.09 now. I will dig out the Samsung Cable as well. If I flash this in ODIN should this at least get me back to stock and up and running again?
Just flash the firmware under PDA with nothing additional checked, correct?
Sorry for the panic
I downloaded the stock firmware and flashed, it fixed it. I then tried the CF-Auto-Root again and it worked fine this time.
Weird. Must have been the Xperia USB Cable? Only thing that changed.

[Q]Samsung SM-N900 bricked

Hello guys,
I tried to root my SM-N900 this morning. I've root my Note 2 before and i thought it would just be the same. Unfortunately as i am starting to root with Odin, i've waited for hours but Odin is still not done with the phone and the download bar progression thing didnt move an inch. So with regret i turned off the phone and now it is stuck on "firmware upgrade encountered an issue" screen. I tried to download firmwares from sammobile but failed at 99% with a message of Unknown Network Error. So with that, are there any other solution possible? I've also tried Kies, but it wouldnt recognize my phone..
@bluws just download any stock firmware for your phone and flash it later with Odin. Use Odin 3.04 or 3.07 if 3.09 failed.

Make sure you are using correct Ver of root, make sure kies not running in bag round when you flash threw Odin, take care of antivirus

Try to connect your phone from the KIES program in a mode of emergency restoration of firmware by Model phone type and Serial Number of the phone. This may take several hours. To do this, you need a good internet.

Did you previously disable Knox? If you didn't, that can cause random problems, read about it in the newest Chainfire's thread in recent post:

What kind of root process did you use Odin for?

Ty guys i got it working just by flashing a new stock rom. Tho now i am unable to call (no mobile services). Apparently it says that there are no sim card or something like that, does the region of the firmware i downloaded have something to do with it. Im living in indonesia (xse) but downloaded the russian stock i think.

Good it works again now!
Maybe it is just a baseband problem? I'm sure you will find an asian baseband only and be able to flash it.
Is your IMEI number still there? If yes, make sure to create backup of it now.

Galaxy S4 wont boot!

So I recently got a Galaxy S4 last night, I rooted it with Kingoroot and it worked great. I then went to sleep and left it alone to wake up to it trying to install a AT&T update and then turning off and booting to a screen that says "Samsung Custom" and does the same processs again.
I have spent more than 2 hours trying to fix this with no avail.
I tried to install stock 4.2.2 but I receive as Fail in Odin which I learned is because you can't install older Android OSes.I then tried to install stock recovery because when I try to boot to recovery it tries to install the update again.
No luck.
I heard of something called a MF3 and downloaded the files but not sure how to use them...
I can still get into Download Mode
This is my main phone so I really need help.
I've read people got soft brick while updating their phones rooted with kingroot!
Try flashing the stock kernel
Google everything before you make sensitive changes in your phone!
Although rooting isnt that sensitive these days!

Use this guide. You can stop at section 2 if you want to stay at Kitkat or go to section 3 if you want to update to Lollipop.
You can definitely install older versions, but you have to start with a full ROM like NB1. My guess is you flashed an incremental update like NC1, NJ4, etc. so Odin failed. When you Odin though, make sure Kies is completely closed or better yet, uninstall it as they hate each other
PS: This is assuming you have AT&T S4. I have no clue about other variants.

Unable to flash stock firmware

Hello, my SM-G935A is rooted, and I have 2 issues with it. Firstly, I'm unable to receive texts or phone calls (I can send them), and I've tried a factory reset and I even got a new SIM, but nothing worked. I think if I flash stock firmware, it might fix the issue. Second problem, when I go into download mode and select my AP in Odin and press start, my phone gets an error and Odin freezes at Initialization.
Any help would be appreciated. I would prefer to fix the texting issue, as I don't want to return the phone to ATT. In either case, the Odin issue needs to be fixed
I'm having a similar issue. This afternoon, 2 apps threw errors and closed. I rebooted, which apparently was the wrong thing to do. The reboot stalled on the AT&T logo and stayed that way for 5 min - the unit became very hot & the power button did not respond, even while holding it down. I got into recovery, cleared the cache and factory reset, then rebooted. The unit came back up and started reinstalling everything. I took it back down into the download status and attempted to reload 935x via Odin, only to stall at "initialzation" [sic] as you did. I got out of that after waiting for some sort of response. SuperSU was still in my apps as was Root Checker. Root Checker indicates the system is rooted. SuperSU indicates it needs the binary updated. BusyBox and TiBu indicate they cannot find root. I deleted all the root apps and tried reinstalling root via adb which completed successfully, but the same outcome with all the root apps. So I'm not sure if I'm still really rooted as Root Checker claims, or not.
EDIT: I just saw that I have 2 "Knox Settings" apps. Clicking on either returns, "Unfortunately, Container Agent2 has stopped."
use the odin from the stock firmware thread to flash it again. if it fails you can flash the u firmware and then the stock again. then you have to use a different odin if you want to flash the root api file the one you flash the firmware with wont work. also there is help in one of the threads about fixing the volte problem so you dont have to turn it off to get calls. i didnt have to do it as using the odin i mentioned fixed it for me when i came from the u firmware.

I was having the exact same problem you had with Odin. It seemed I was able to flash stock firmware using this version of Odin: http://www.mediafire.com/download/2t2sjqxtogbkafk/odin_3.12.3.rar

did you have any problems with the u version of the s7 edge firmware, like the fingerprint scanner not responding? i am on that version and cant get any odin version or any version of s7 edge g935a firmware to flash, tried unrooting and was forced to use the U version of the s7 edge firmware, everything works except the fingerprint scanner, cant get back to full stock firmware, need help!
im having the exact same problem, when i put my phone into download mode and flash the stock at&t firmware, Odin get stuck in "initialization" and my phone screen displays and error message.
Same stuff was happening to me, I went back to stock and took the update. When your phone stops working as an actual phone, it's time to roll it back.
I played with it for a week and my phone was so freaking hot (with hot weather) equals a wait and see if this gets more stable in the near future. I did use the Odin 3.12.3 mentioned by King James III. Honestly, I did so many things to get it back to stock I forget what actually worked (it was the wee hours of the morning and I was spent). Don't give up guys, it will and can work.
edit: It may be as simple as not right clicking Odin and running it as Administrator.

I used Odin_v3.12.3_Patched_SHA256 to flash the 935U Firmware then used Odin3_v3.11.2 to flash the June Firmware release.

Help - Stuck in Infinite Bootloop

Hi, I have an old N8010 16GB which was bought from John Lewis in the UK (an official retailer). The tablet has worked great, however recently it screwed up and got stuck in a bootloop.
So I decided to see if I can try to recover it and that's why I am here. I tried Odin and started putting what I thought is the correct firmware on it, however all the firmwares I try all PASS and seem to install correctly but the device still has a infinte bootloop (it crashes and reboots after the Samsung logo shows). I noticed the PIT file says -8G on one of the firmware files - I guess this means it is for the 8GB version which is clearly not going to work on my 16GB version?
Please can someone guide me on what firmware to download and what to try as I have been trying for 5 hours now and cannot find any way to get it out of this boot loop, I have no problems at all installing firmware as it passes every time with Odin. I am using Odin3 v3.10.7
I'm not sure but I think I need this firmware: N8010XXUCMG1
