I installed the CM nightly ROM on my phone. I wanted to know if there is anything I can flash or install that can put back the stock camera software/features/modes it came with. Thanks.

EVO_Radio_2.15.00.05.02_WiMAX_27243_PRI_2.15_003
somebody know??...help...
All I know is I flashed the rooted rom and my video camera would force close every time I tried to use it. I was still on the froyo radios.
i nandroided back to old rom. everything works on it.
So I don't have to start a new thread, I am running the above rom -- I came from the stock 3.70.651.1 deodexed rom. In the 3.70.651.1 rom, the number for the battery life overlapped the green indicator at the top. Is there an easy way to get this number back up there in the new rom?
Thanks for any help.
Hello,
Tried many custom roms but usually end up coming back to the offical AOKP rom for the N4. I like the options and speed of the rom, find it very stable and use the theme engine. I haven't tried their 4.3 roms as they are all nightlies and I am always led to believe these are a bit risky for using as a daily driver. I use my phone for work and important things.
I have stayed with 4.2, but the only issue I have found is that the camera flash does not work. I have tried the latest stable 4.2 release, but then under instruction by aokp him/herself flashed the last 4.2 nightly as I was told there was a camera fix for that release. This was a clean install, I wiped and flashed.
Unfortunately I still cannot get the camera flash to work. I know my phone is not faulty as the flash works fine in Beanstalk, CM and other roms.
Anyone else experienced this?
The nightly releases for AOKP 4.3.1 are stable. Just make s nandroid backup and install them.

ThemeManager crash with Franco/Hells kernel
Hi,
Did anyone had issue with ThemeManager. It's crashing always while restarting phone. I tried Franco/Hells kernel and it happens on both. It's working correctly on standard kernel. I tried to set up stock theme/clean data in application. Nothing helps.
XDA,
I am currently running PA 3.69 (Android 4.2.2) with stock PA kernel and a .48 modem, and I am looking to flash the new CM11 M3 snapshot (4.4) with franco.Kernel and put on MultiROM with Ubuntu Touch. I have been out of the custom ROM scene for a while and I would like to make sure I get this right the first time.
Do I need to flash a 4.4 modem before I update the OS? Then, do I just flash the .ZIP from CM's website from within CWM? Or should I grab a factory image from Google and start from there?
Also, should I flash the franco.Kernel immediately after rebooting into the ROM, or does it not matter? I had problems with flashing kernels on my old phone after the OS had already been running for a long time.
Thanks in advance to all of you guys, you're an awesome community to be a part of.

Both kk modem and bootloader aren't mandatory but they are recommended
While you're in recovery flash the desired kernel after the rom but also you can do it after reboot
And... There are help threads here where you can start rather than opening another topic

Hi!
It has been a long time since I used my old Nexus 7 which is running a Custom ROM (PurityROM) which is version 4.3 Android. Do I need to do something else to flash a 4.4 KitKat Custom ROM (Dirty Unicorn 4.4.4) or can I flash it without doing anything (new bootloader, etc)? it has been a while for me.
Thanks.

That's an easy one! Just factory reset in recovery a d flash the new ROM and gapps afterwards, then you're on your way.

hi
i installed lastest cyanogen mod for my G2 but unfortunatly i found out that most of my sensors are disabled like the gyroscope.
any idea why ? anything i need to install ?
thanks
You need the proper baseband for CM11.
CM11 uses jelly bean sources so you need the 4.2.2 baseband. cloudyfa has them, search around in these forums or on Google. That will fix the sensors. Keep in mind when returning to a 4.4.2 Rom that you need to flash the 4.4.2 baseband..
(note: if you have the verizon lg g2 and you're using unofficial cm11 that's based on 4.4.2 sources, you need to flash that. Again, cloudyfa has a repo)
Last week there was a problem im CM which f...ed up sensors. Same problem in some CM based AOSP Roms. In this case has nothing to do with baseband.
Should be fixed now. Just flash newest version.
