Hey guys,
I haven't been on the forum in awhile but I am looking to get the LG G2 but the front logo is really bugging me. Is there anything out there to cover it up? Like one of those glass screen protectors with the black on the screen protector?
I take it there is no way to hide it?
I wouldn't even try.

What do you mean? I'm not gonna try to shave it off or something. lol
It's not noticeable after you look at the 5.2 inch screen.

We will see, going to look at phones tomorrow.
I didn't notice it until I got it home. Now I can't not see it!!!
Nah, it's not really bothering me. This is an awesome phone and loss of other things have my attention on it
I do have a dual pro case coming and if that hides it then that will be fine too.

The dual pro case won't hide the Verizon logo on the front. Also, compared to my previous Verizon phones of the past, the logo on the G2 is relatively small.

Check the thread in accessories forum about tempered glass screen protectors. One of them has black that covers the logo. I see if I can find the link.
Read through the forum. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2450811
Here's the link to the product. They are taking pre-orders for November shipping. http://www.xgearlive.com/products/android/lg/sentinel

After an absolutely horrid sprint customer support experience regarding my los (topic for a diff thread) issues I traded my Epic 4g Touch to a guy on craigslist for a Nexus S. The screen is scratched pretty bad and so is the back cover. Any idea where I can find replacement glass and cover?
Thanks!

Hmm... Then I suggest you try to ebay it. You are in US, aren't you? I think you should be able to get it from ebay US. if not, I personally don't think you can get it from anywhere else.
But I too recommend you try to contact with the shop link I posted. They should know if Nexus S I9020 SuperAmoled would be compatible with Sprint one. Good luck mate!
BUY a bricked one from eBay or somewhere. As long as the screen works, you can harvest from it.

I put on best skin ever, skin and then when I made a call the phone wouldn't lite up to see the hang up button. So I took skin off tested call it worked with skin off. I then put screen protector by Lumii Ark (great screen protector) and the same in call experience.
I haven't taken the protector off yet simply looking for a fix. I know that there are the two sensors on the upper left corner. It is polished clean and the protector is crystal clear. Any thoughts or similar experience?

Yup, pretty much. Or you can use scissors
I tried scissors with the skin and ruined the skin. I appreciate both responses. Have either of you had to fix this with ur N4 I have had a lot of androids and never any issues like this with the sensor being covered by screen protector.
I'll consider the hole punch. But would have to buy another screen protector. Sigh

Yeah i cant think of one at the moment. You dont need a protector anyways. Just treat her like a baby and you'll do fine.

Liberate yourself and go without the screen protector. I've used screen protectors on all my previous phones from the HTC Sensation, Galaxy SII, Galaxy SIII, and Galaxy Nexus.
When the Nexus 4 was announced I sold my SIII and picked up a Galaxy Nexus for relatively cheap. I decided that since the Galaxy Nexus was going to become my backup phone I'd go without a case or screen protector. Over the past 3 weeks of using the phone this way I've really grown to appreciate the phone "naked". Now I really could never go back to covering these beautiful phones with a case or screen protector again. I haven't been babying the phone like I normally would and it doesn't have a single scratch anywhere on it.
I'm really looking forward to using the Nexus 4 without any protection and enjoying it for what it is. Worst case, if I drop it and it gets damaged I'll shell out the ~$160 for a replacement from Google. I made enough profit from selling the SIII (which I put away just in case) to easily cover the cost of a replacement if necessary. For me, this is plenty peace of mind to enjoy the phone with no protection.
Just my $0.02.
Fair enough. I already bought a case I'll get first week of Dec. I have had the phone since the 18th so I know the awesome naked feeling u speak of.

I want a flip to car that leaves the screen bare when open. I will just use the case when I think the phone needs added protection.
I do not really like anything that is on the touch screen but I may put a transparent shield on the back glass.

I'm reluctantly going to purchase the black model from AT&T for the memory. I'm looking for a solid white gel-like (TPU) case that covers the back. Suggestions?

Look in the international galaxy s4 forum under accessories they have a bunch of suggestions along with pictures and sites to get them from.
Check this case out. http://www.cruzerlite.com/cases/samsung/galaxy-s-iv

I'm very happy with this case:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AX8M570/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It has a kickstand, feels great, and offers pretty good protection unless you're looking for an otterbox-like solution for people who constantly drop their phones!
The Samsung made protective cover + is an awesome case. If you Google it in the shopping thing you can get it cheaper than what Samsung sells it for. I have two of them for my white s4 a white one and a dark blue one.

Spigen SGP has a spectacular case for the S 4. It's more rubber than gel-like but it covers the back and bezel, feels great and does a wonderful job.

Interchangeable colors if you get multiple, too! You can find them cheaper elsewhere but their site allows you to easier see the colors and material. Explains it all too.
Why did you upgrade to the LG G2?
Battery, Bigger Screen without going too big with the phone, LTE (not that i need it yet), and just because i got it at a good price, was deciding between Nexus 5 or G2 so i went with the G2. Came from a Nexus 4.
EDIT: Oh yeah better speaker than the N4 (and the N5 I think), build quality is good too.
Note 3 was too big and I never used the pen.
No nexus 5 on Verizon hoping to get kitkat soon

My beloved Droid DNA had a cracked screen. I couldn't justify the cost of repairing it vs getting the G2.
Wanted something new after using my Galaxy S1 (Now my trusty backup phone) for 3 years. Do I need to say more?
G2 seemed like the obvious choice. Waited a bit for the N5 but I'm glad I got the G2, as the 16GB version of N5 costs the same as my 32GB G2 here in Norway.
My Gnex started to slow down and I wanted something stable. The G2 beat out the Moto X by passing the 'how will the device be 2 years from now' test and the Nexus 5 by me being a Verizon customer. So far, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and am looking forward to rooting soon!
Lots of the same reasons above, no Nexus on VZW, GNex showing it's age, ease of rooting.
Really like this device now that I've had it a bit.
The Nexus 5 wasn't coming to Verizon and I couldn't stand my Galaxy Nexus battery life anymore.
I just switched from Verizon to T-Mobile so have access to both the G2 and Nexus 5. In that regard, G2's battery life vs N5's crappy juice won out.
Not to mention that T-Mobile only carries that 16GB version of the N5 for some stupid reason.
After spending a 8 months with a Spectrum 2 and no Dev. support, I was going crazy with Rom withdrawal.

I had a Galaxy S3 that was affected with the sudden death glitch. It was the specs that caught my attention, but ultimately it was playing with the demo at an AT&T store that won it for me. Got a good deal on it too. $115 after taxes.

Firstly because of sound player. 192/24. Secondly camera quality especially 60fps. Then 5.2 screen also was important thing.
I just got mine for free plus 30 for activation. Should get here tomorrow. Haven't even used one yet.
