Because of forum's limitation, had to post this here, admins please feel free to move it to the dev forum.
I noticed that Android 2.3 is ported to Raspberry Pi and Android 4.0 is being ported. Go to: http://androidpi.wikia.com/wiki/CM7_Compilation and http://androidpi.wikia.com/wiki/Android_Pi_Wiki for more information. I know it has been discussed in the dev's forum, but what are the troubles of porting Android 2.3 to NST? Can't we learn stuff from Razdroid and apply them in NST context?

If you read the discussions in the dev forum then you have your answer as the same question has been asked for android versions for devices much closer to the Nook Touch than the Raspberry Pi.

Very complex.... several skilled developers have already been working on it for months. The thread is in the Roms section.
Please see relevant threads in the Rom Development section.

Is there an Android ROM for T-Mobile HTC HD2 which can run directly without any loaders(With No WinMo. Direct boot into Android)?
Running Android without Windows Mobile is not available on any HD2 yet.
Also, you'd be better questions posting in the correct forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=743

please search the forums before asking a question. especially posting a new thread in the development section.
and no, no android builds can boot on internal memory. all of them still require you to run Haret from winmo.

This post would have been slighty usefull if a link to searchoption (with results) had been added to the big fat red letters. Now this post is just plain useless and tells us more about the poster then it does about the topic.
He just asked the most asked question in the Development forum. Congrats and welcome to Planet EARTH!!
Good Luck (and you might have got the answer of your question as well)
Dude please read, spend sometime in reading the stickies, it'll help you..!!!
Don't be so lazy..!!!
Shakz why is that once in a week some1 has to post a thread like this..???
Hi There
I'm new but, as a noob I try many Android "distrib" (Froyo 2.2, Matt 1.x,...), and so DroidROMs from many sources (Chuck, Energy...), but...
Could it be possible to found them (DroidRoms) in a specific part as Android Development, Android General Discution, ROMs... ?
It's maybe stupid, but I still believe that could be a good thing for our Android usage
Thanks for reading
Sure.
[I don't understand what this thread is about.]
I think OP is asking for a new forum section. I'm not sure if he wants one just for android builds or one for android friendly WM roms.

I think both wouldn't be a bad idea.

m-deejay no longer works for our iconia?
I know it's very easy to ask but we do not know computer science geniuses ( all cooks ) as they depend on.
Regards
And sorry for my english
First off, wrong section, second, The problem is lack of source of HoneyComb and other things for the Tablet. So yeah, if we had the source, we'd have more roms-

Thread Closed, wrong sub forum.
I'm trying to follow the development of ICS roms for the a500.
Other than Thor and what is posted in the XDA DEV forum, are there any others to be followed?
Please post a link the discussion.
Thank You
Without seeing the post, just looking at the title, I was going to chime in what you already know (Thor's and what little is in the dev forum). I am actually clueless to other forums/sites dedicated to A500 development, so I of course am no more help to you. I am also interested though in knowing of other dev efforts outside XDA.
#1 obviously is "TegraOwners ICS v80"
