Power down your device, press all three buttons, scroll down and select AP Fastboot

Have you tried Matt's Utility? It is very easy to flash back to stock with this.

i have a lg l7 p705 4.1.2 and cant find a way of rooting it. so i am thinking of downgrading it back to 4.0.3, if possible. i am new to this thing and has never rooted a device. would appreciate if you can suggest me a way in a simpler language cause i did saw somethings for what i was looking for but couldnt understand what they were trying to tell

then click on the link and download the v10k rom (v10k is 4.0.3) and simply flash it using kdz flasher
after the installation you will have 4.0.3 with root and cwm recovery
but remember this: if,after the installation,the phone doesn't boot remove battery then put in the battery and enter in recovery mode,now wipe data and wipe cache and reboot your phone

for flashing i mean istalling rom using kdz program and to enter recovery mode u have to shutdown the phone and keep pressed vol+,vol-,home,and power button then when u see your phone vibrates release power button but keep pressed all the other buttons until u see the recovery

Can somebody post a working link to the SBF files? I would like to downgrade and root, cant seem to find a working link. Placing the zip file on the card with a manual update with stock recovery gives me an error message. Help...

Hello everyone, I tried googleing around but didn't find anything. I am trying to install ROM Manager from the google play store but I am continuously getti an unknown error code -25. I am running MIUI v5,might that be the problem?

Don't use rom manager, it may brick your phone.

Try deleting cache from the play, or delete the last update and try updating it again.. hope that helps

Use philz recovery instead, it works.

Philz recovery is better than CWM. Just install that. CWM isn't the star of the show like it used to be. I recently switched from using CWM to philz. So much better.

Use CM7, CM9 or MS2Ginger. Use aroma full wiper or TJKVs safe wiper to wipe everything and then flash the ROM.

At the moment i am using Ommi-Rom which is android 4.4.2
It is stable and I am yet to find any issues with it.
If you want to try it flash update-recovery.zip if you are in Slim,PA or CM10 or defy_twrp_recovery_2.6.3.0.zip if you are in a GB based ROM. (you have to reboot ater flashing defy_twrp_recovery_2.6.3.0.zip to enter the updated recovery.)
Then flash defy_safewipe.zip (not necessary if you flashed defy_twrp_recovery_2.6.3.0.zip)
and then flash Omni-Rom and GApps
You can provide feedback for Ommi here.

Go to recovery and flash. If you tried some ROMs, how is it possible that you tried some ROMs?

You have to download the sbf and drivers, select sbf in rsdlite and flash. And what do you mean by nothing happened? Nothing will happen without the sbf

I dont think so.
Firstly its a flashable zip and you dont have root to push them manually with root explorer with correct permissions.
