Please try uploading somewhere else, I am unable to download it... Thanks...

I have PMd you back about a fix, did it work
Downloading will try it
Downloading and backup up my current ROM. Will try.
**edit*
Tried twice, after wipe (both times) first try I installed the the VISIONFLASHFIRST (did this change my version of ext4?), flashed ROM (RandomROMv101.zip) and OTA (OTARandomROMDesireHD1222.zip) rebooted and waited > 45min and stuck on htc One white screen. Second try I wiped and only flashed the ROM and same results.
My options was the sms on lock screen, and I selected (which I guess does not remove) all apps that didn't start with HTC.
Also adb devices shows no device so I was unable to get a logcat for you.
Going back to old rom.

You can download it from HTC developers site.
Maybe next time you can post in an existing thread like the Liberated thread seeing you are running liberated? There are stickies here too with the answer to your question.
Thanks, and I'll make sure to do that next time

You can also download the HTC 2.1 update and install it. You would have the most recent OEM ROM.
Has anyone actually flashed the new ota that has come out on a stock non rooted device. I've seen that its floating around although I haven't seen any conformation that people have successfully flashed it and that it works.

It's an incremental, not a full ROM. It should work fine rooted, but if you've altered, frozen, renamed or deleted ANY original files, it will fail.
See I haven't rooted at all and have the version 1.141.07 so it should be okay to update right? The worst thatll happen is it fails to install and I just go back to what I had before correct?

It's a full ROM. When flashing a full ROM, it's always best to wipe data first. You can try without doing that; it might be fine, it might not.
Worst that can happen is you'd have to go back into recovery and wipe.
Do a backup first, a nandroid one in case you want to rollback, and a Titanium one for your apps and data for easy reinstallation.
Hmm, I thought the one on the forum was an incremental to 3.1?

Hi All
I've also got the system prompt to update to 1.141.07 (39.71MB). I have not rooted and have three numpty questions-
1.This I understand is not the Honeycomb 3.1 update?
2.Also I'm in the UK and got my Iconia in the USA- that does not have any effect on updating does it? I mean setting wise?- (dumb but I'm being very cautious!)
3.The Wifi issue people are having with this update is related to ROOTED tablets?
Cheers all
I was rooted and I flash the full from everything is working fine right now!

So i've s-off'ed my Desire Z and been running a few different custom roms for the last couple of months.. Then suddenly yesterday Wifi wont turn on anymore (running CoreDroid). At first i thought it was the rom, so i flashed another rom (DoubleShot rom) but problem is still there !
When i go to settings to turn it on it just sits there for about 15 seconds.. After that i get the message "error" and then its turned off again
I thought i have read about this somewhere here, but i cant find the thread
Does anyone have suggestions to how i can fix it?
What i find really wierd is that since this started the part in the initial setup (after a rom is flashed) where you are to choose which wifi network to connect to .. That part is just not showing..

If i install the stock rom again would that also mean to reflash the radio ?
Sorry I don't have the Download links as I don't own this phone. Ussually the drivers can be installed by installing the Android sdk as well as HTC sync. And yes going back to stock meaning a ruu will reflash the radio. Good luck

You flashed the ROM using CWM, correct? What was the name of the ROM?
yes, it is correct I flashed using Clockworkmod by team rogue. I am not really sure what ROM I flashed. but I attached a image of the boot screen. but the ROM I flashed was for TF101(which I think should be compatible with my SL101). or do I need to flash a Asus stock recovery image to solve this issue? BTW is this a boot loop? thanks for the reply.
Edit: I found out the ROM that I flashed.
md5sum: dd80806298385a7a8057b21b384d389f. This is the stable ROM for TF101

If you're getting a bootloop, then something either something went wrong with the installation or with the ROM. I don't think it's kernel related since you're getting to the ROM's boot animation. I would try to relash to ROM or try a different one that clearly states it's compatible with the Slider, because I still don't know which one you flashed.
then how do I flash another ROM when the slider is still in the boot animation? also what ROM is recommended for the slider? I have searched most forums and most of them are for the transformer.
Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda premium
I think even on that rom you should be able to boot in recovery mode. Perhaps you need to wipe data / cache and reboot again.

This here doesn't sound right. You don't connect your Slider to a computer to flash ROMs. You flash the ROM (zip file) from recovery on your Slider.
Also, Android Revolution doesn't require flashing any compatibility pack. Since it is already based on Asus stock ROM, it already has the necessary files.

Don't worry about the compatibility pack for the Android Revolution ROM.
To flash this ROM, you MUST first flash the SUPER WIPE file that is listed in the Android Revolution thread.
