[Q] USB 3.0 not supported via OTG

Hi i am connected my external usb 3.0 to my usb otg. however its i am prompted not supported. any help

Is it NTFS formatted? Apparently the stock ROM/kernel doesn't support NTFS. Try Ext4, FAT or exFAT.

it doesn't meets the power requirement , i have a seagate backup plus 1 tb external and its usb3.0 and doesn't works on usb otg , get an external powered usb port and then try connecting it, would definitely work.

[Q] S4 i9500| How to use Transcend StoreJet as extrnal memory

I'm trying to use my Transcend StoreJet 1TB as external memory on my S4 i9500 but it seems like0 the S4 doesn't recognize it.
I used OTG cable to connect the Drive on the Female USB side .
when i tried different USB storage it's working.
any suggestions ?

using otg with usb y-cable & stickmount on nexus 4?

I want to use otg with my nexus 4 to transfer files between the internal storage and my USB Flash drive
And I'm wondering if I can do that using an otg y-cable and stickmount app, is that possible??

It does. But have problems with ntfs formated USB storages. For ntfs I'm using Nexus Media Importer. So s5 is able to mount those ntfs formated hard disks. Working great.

I have not tried with S5, however I was able to mount NTFS pendrives from ES Explorer on S4, not natively

Ntfs otg not working?

Im using p585y , rooted, otg shown corrupted if otg is ntfs, I thought samsung supported ntfs?
