Transition animation scale setting NOT sticking? - Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Transition animation scale setting, in developer options NOT sticking?
Every phone I get, I always set this to off just to reduce the transition time. But no matter what I set it to, after about 10min of playin on the phone it always sets itself back to x1. Anyone else having this issue....? Any suggestions... thanks

The camera app apparently switches the transition animation back to 1. Try it. Turn off the animation then open the camera app. Go back and check the animation setting. It'll be back to 1x. Haven't found a way around this

Your right. Thats retarded. Thanks for tha nfo

Lockscreen similar for QQ Launcher's or similar

Is there a way some could extract the lockscreen from QQ Launcher or recommend a lockscreen that is very similar to it? I tried to get some off the market but those never override the system lockscreens. I was hoping for a apk or even a zip for one.

I dont know what that lock screen is but i use menu lock which gives you 8 buttons. You pull the button over to open an app that you have assigned. I also use No Lock which is an app that keeps your phone from using its lock. Together it makes it to where the only lock i see is menu lock.
It is the best app i have of the over 100 i now have and the well over 500 i have tried.
Good luck.

Thanks for replying.... I forgot all about No Lock. I think I know how to get the lockscreen that I want.

Yup NoLock is great I use it to text at school and don't want an unlock screen lol

Well I think I spoke to soon. I can't disable the system's lockscreen. Even with No Lock enabled. I downloaded the QQ Launcher just for the lockscreen so that I could use it with Go Launcher. It works sometimes, but Im still getting my old system lockscreen. Its gotta be a way to disable the system lockscreen.

CM7 wake animation not on ??

i just reflashed cm7.1 and when i press to turn screen off it used to do like an animation , now it just turn off and on ( wake ), is there a way to get it back ?????
You can turn the setting on in the cyanagen settings.
Settings>cyanogen>display
You cant miss the setting. There ate only like 2 things in thay menu. The catch is that the screen on animiations only work if the screen off animations are activated too.
You can do screen off only, but not screen on only.
At least thats what i have found wkth 7.1

i have both on and nothing, it wont do it lol
Okay. Make sure you dont have animations disabled entirely. Lool in the main system settings..
Settings>display>animations
(Not the cyanogen settings)
Make sure its set to show all animations.

Did you wipe /system before flashing? Try that if you have not sone so already.
yeah is just weird
Try changing transition speeds in Spare Parts (app) and see how that works

(Q) Changing lock screen text

Is there a way to change the life companion text?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda premium
Yes. It is in the lock screen settings.

Here's a easier way. On the lock screen that's a widget you can grab the bottom of it and you will see a edit button. I deleted the text. Their is just the clock widget as well from the locksceen settings but I like the clocks position better with the text but deleted the text.

Display light

Hello I have an annoying issue going on.
I set the display light to auto and it keeps dimming all the way down and it doesnt stay on auto. Or if I uncheck auto it dims all the way to where I have to set the slider...
Ive done a few mods ( in the systemUI) like changed the drop down menu to a different color
And when im doing something on an app sometimes the screen just goes back to the home screen.
Thanks Jim

[Q] Still Seeing the Samsung Lockscreen?

I've tried installing several custom lockscreen, currently using C-Locker. The problem is, occasionally the stock Samung lockscreen will appear. Sometimes it will get replaced in a second by the custom lockscreen and sometimes the stock lockscreen stays until I turn off the screen and turn it back on.
Is there a way to freeze/stop the stock lockscreen? or to make the custom lockscreen the ONLY lockscreen that see?
Thanks
Go to settings, search for lockscreen, set it from swipe to none. Simple
You're welcome.
