http://www.sammobile.com/ all firmwares is on the website
ok, but i already have the newest N9005XXUBMJ3 firmware, but this gives me now a lot of problems, it tried yesterday the N9005XXUBMJ1 firmware for downgrading with ODIN3 , but that gives me only errors. so it looks i,m stock with this !
I would go into the android system recovery by holding volume up+home button+power button at the same time.
From there go to "wipe data/factory reset" and select yes.
After that select "reboot system now."
Once it's in go to settings/general/backup and reset. Choose to factory data reset.
That's assuming you are using a factory firmware and have backed up your important stuff. If that fails it could be a hardware problem which in that case, contact your local Samsung.
i already tried, but still the same.
the wierd thing is, that before the firmware update i had no trouble at all, so it has to be the new firmware !
i,m now downloading the MJ1 firmware, i will try to downgrade again ( hope it works )
if you are on N9005XXUBMJ3 you cannot backflash to N9005XXUBMJ1 because N9005XXUBMJ3 has a new bootloader with it and is not compatible with N9005XXUBMJ1

I don't know for sure, but im on MJ3 also and have no problems at all, i have rooted with de_la_vega and installed Wanam framework and used TiBackup to remove a sh*tload of crapware samsung provided and still running strong. so maybe there went something wrong with your flash that causes the reboots, or maybe a faulty app.
Can't you just wipe back to factory settings in stock recovery? :L

Yes, but no one here seems to have the same problem, it is probably some problem app you have, or some settings that the system did not like.
You probably could have gotten a malware causing memory overloads, forcing a reboot, you never know. Wiping to factory is Step 1 at any time your phone is at a time like this.

Hi, I bought my Galaxy S4 9505 about a month ago, everything was great, I later decided to flash a custom ROM.
Something went wrong and i soft bricked my device, I was able to flash the stock ROM later and fix it.
however, I recently found out the after flashing the stock ROM, samsung KIES no longer recognizes my device.
I have installed the device's drivers, and KIES have identified it before I flashed it.
In addition, whenever I try to use samsung HUB, the app crashes immideatly giving an error message: "Mandatory Parameter Not Found (1101)"
Searching for the error, only one result came up where someone flashed his ROM using mobile odin, and it got fixed by reflashing with odin for windows.
Unfortunatly, this is not the case, I originally flashed it with windows odin, and even tried to flash it again, but still the same result.
If anyone can help me that would be great.
Thank you

I live in Israel and bought the phone in israel.
I looked in samfirmware (dot) com
and it seems like there isn't really an Israel firmware, it also says the one I have is of Ireland's
I can guarentee that I9505XXUAMDI was the firmware installed before and after the flashing

Aah i see, you probably don`t have the correct software from the country/region where the phone originated from. You have to find the country where the phone was initialy sold. Look here and typein your imei number http://sndeep.info/en.

Contacting the reseller about it will probably lead to voiding my warranty if I explain why I need to know, or refusing to answer if I don't explain why.
I can try to check out the firmware of some other S4 I9505 of people I know in Israel, hoping it will lead to something.
I still find it very hard to believe that even if the reseller told me where the phone was originally sold, it would turn out to be something different than Ireland.
I can guarentee that I9505XXUAMDI was the version I had before flashing, and I don't see how it could be unless it originated there.
OK, luckily, I still had a CWM recovery from before flashing the new firmware, i restored the backup, and now I know my CSC, my KIES work and samsung HUB as well.
However I now have CWM, and I wish to remove it, from what I know, only by flashing the stock firmware I will be able to remove CWM.
If I flash the firmware I thought was the correct one, I will return to the point where KIES isn't working for me again.
with this info:
PDA: I9505XXUAMDI
CSC: I9505TSIAMD8
which firmware should I flash?
Hi everybody, I have a problem with my galaxy note 3.
I'm using Omega Droid (newest version).
Yesterday I would use my note 3 and after unlock the system process force closed.
The device is very very slow and no sound plays anymore.
I flashed then the official rom.
Same thing no sound...
Everytime I use sound eg. Music, ringtone or so the system crash with a force close.
I rooted the device and take a logcat.
It seems that the audio hardware is broken.
Can anyone help or should I contact the service center?

Obviously contact a service centre.
If flashing cutom rom and kernel didn't fix it, it's probably hardware.
OK I send it in to the service center.
No repair because root...
(Knox 0 x1)
What can I do?
I have flashed 10 roms and 5 kernels... Problem exists everytime.
No sound, force closes, system hangs on volume control.
Please help me

I had the same problem with a Galaxy Express after flashing a ROM from a different Region (no sound, force closes, very laggy device). Solution : Flash the stock firmware (the one that your phone came with) from your region. Don't try another region or another ROM, try the stock one from your region. Right after every flash you have to go to Recovery and Wipe Data & Wipe Cache, if you don't do this you will still face the same problem.

I have searched on sammobile. But no eplus ROM for my device.
With the N9005XXUDMJ7 ROM problem exist too...
I think that the hardware is broken.
My camera force closed too.
When I check my camera firmware it says no camera device found...
I think it's a case for the repair service for e. g. 100 euro or so on...

Slow device, no sound, phone call/receive impossible...

The problem started without any problem. The dude didn't fall...
Any solution ?
Thanks
Noob question ahead!
I have International Galaxy S4 i9505 and I’m currently on rooted stock rom “i9505vjuemj6″ (zto) brazil android 4.3. I can not update OTA because of “modified device issue” and also can not update via Kies it says “GT-i9505 does not support initialization”.
Can I download “I9505VJUEMKE_I9505DGTEMKE_DGT” venezuela android 4.3 and flash it using odin to fix everything above?
- If not, which latest stock ROM do you recommend to install?
- Any description for this? “GT-i9505 does not support initialization”.
For install updates for android 4.3 u only need Kies 3, no Kies. I recommend u install the updates only with Kies 3 or via OTA. Flashing other firmwares that dont marry with ur region code is create more problems :highfive:

Will do and get back to you as soon as i get another firware on, have also contacted Samsung and the'ry look into it too. but cheers if you can help. i'm just mucking around with other options as well at moment. i understand some forums say you cannot roll back the firmware from 4.4.2 to 4.2. I am having the screen rotation problem with the new 4.4.2 so i'm trying to find a way to roll back the FW and one way might be to install a custom rom with old bootloader that is also knox free via CWM install zip function to replace the new 4.4.2 bootloader with an old one. This may then allow me to roll back the firmware to an older version and kill my screen rotation problems.

Pretty sure once you root your phone you can no longer use OTA or Kies, as you now have custom status.
Having said that I've not used kies once since I bought my S4 on April 27th and I change firmware like crazy.
Just use Odin. 9 times out of 10 any problem you have can be fixed by reflash and factory reset.
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Premium HD app
you can use on any modified phone
If Kies lets you initialise the firmware with model and serial no. to the base version for your region for that phone then it will overwrite anything. However in the I9505 case it will not even let you initialise the firmware. Have called Samsung and they confirm they know this is the case but it is not something they will do anything about.

OK so is this what you were asking for?
Screen rotation a real prob, but all my sensors show pass via *#0*# sensor checks. Tried nordic i9505 I9505XXUFNB9_I9505NEEFNB2_I9505XXUFNB9_HOME.tar 4.4.2, then SIngapore I9505XXUFNBE_I9505OLBFNB3_I9505XXUFNBE_HOME.tar 4.4.2 all the fken same problem. Screen rotation all fine when I flash firmware, root, then flash CWM touch - everything good. Screen rotate works until the first reboot after all of this which might even be a day or 2 later. As soon as reboot phone, screen rotation dies and it is a huge pain in the arse. Sensors continue to say pass via *#0*#. Every few days i have to re-flash firmware, re-root, then re-CWM touch, no need to factory reset just those 3 steps.:crying::crying:and is why i'm trying to figure out whatever methods i can to roll back the firmware to an earlier version but no joy....

MY GALAXY S4 SGH-I337 will not work with kies or smartswitch ive tried atleast fourty times and i need help ive tried odin already and it always fails because of write protection and now my s4 is in a bootloop can someone help?

Hi, I've a serious problem with my S4 and I hope you can help me to solve it:good:...
I had a samsung stock 4.3 with frequent crash and soft reboot, so i decided to do a wipe (in setting menu), but nothing change.
Then I've flash the KK fw I9505XXUFNB8_I9505BTUFNB3_I9505XXUFNB8_HOME.tar.md5 without pit and re-partition, the process was complete without error but the phone wasn't started and remain stuck on Samsung Galaxy s4. In recovery there are these errors:
Recovery 3e
Philz Touch Recovery
I've retry many many many time to do a wipe data and cache in recovery, try to flash many other firmware with and without pit file, change recovery, flash in odin only pda and with 4 files with/without pit, but i can't find a solution...every time i've the same errors and the phone doesn't start...
If I poll out the battery for a long time (at least 5-6 hours), sometimes start with animated Samsung logo and music and with the control of the installed application, but during the progress it crashes and I must reboot :crying:
Thank you!!!

Ok, because s4 black mist and s4 black edition are 2 different devices....when download is finished, finally i'll try...
i dont understand where the problem is ?
first of all you need to know your Model Number, for example : i9505, after that you search for an Odin Rom, like I9505XXUFNB8_I9505BTUFNB3_I9505XXUFNB8_HOME.tar.md5. Then you reboot your device in "DOWNLOAD mode", flash the Odin Rom via Odin and everything is fine...
Your problem is, you dont even know what device you got and you try to flash something you have found in here... thats really not that intelligent...

Yeah, you right. @Repulsa was pasting u this link, but Im not sure about coz I was reading this:
"This firmware build has the same changelist to the later update of the original Galaxy S4 LTE GT-I9505 with has the firmware build numbers I9505XXUEMKF. So again, those who got the dark-blue Black Mist and off-white White Frost Galaxy S4 I9505 variants should refrain from installing this firmware build for this is not for your LTE GT-I9505 devices. If you read somewhere else that this is an update for your device you may already have seen it on Kies or OTA. Kies will only tells you that you have the latest software update if you currently runs on Android 4.3 I9505XXUEMKF. Again, those who got the original GT-I9505 LTE, this update is only rolled out in Nordic regions for now, but let’s wait and see this coming few days if we may also have this update arrive in our areas."

Eyy, you dont get it, arent you ? I got the same device like you, an international S4 Black mist model number : i9505. Noone is talking about a black or red or yellow edition .... whats your model number ? remove your battery and look it up..
If you flashed this rom :
I9505XXUFNB8_I9505BTUFNB3_I9505XXUFNB8_HOME.tar.md 5

then you should be fine, cause i did it myself and everything was working correctly, so my next thought is that you dont even got the i9505, because this rom should work just like every other rom.

I have Note 3 N9005XXUENC2... recently i have updated it to 4.4.2 usin OTA, but now after update it hangs some time. There is no fix app on which it hangs, sometimes it hangs even in opening the dialer. I have tried doing a reset from recovery and wiped the cash also but still the problem is same.
plz help....
I am thinking of trying official 4.4.2 firmware of some other region may be it could solve the problem
Which region should I try for it ???
can I directly flash it through odin..??? will it trip the Knox???

Search for samsung phone info in playstore to check you region or csc.
You could keep the same region as your current phone. Just download the firmware from sammobile or samsung live updates. Then flash with odin. Flashing official fw won't trip knox
Edit:
Just to be safe don't downgrade to 4.3 if you do care about knox. Also it could soft brick your phone

OTA updates can sometimes cause issues with people's devices, try the Odin method.
Flashing directly via Odin can fix the issues OTA update brings.
I am unable to find the appropriate firmware.....in sammobile & samsung live
details of my phone are
CSC: N9005VFGENA4
PDA: N9005XXUENC2

plug your phone into your computer open Kies and it will tell you your phone's country then download firmware from sammobile or through Kies if they have an update for you.
