I'm going to call it the app drawer but not sure if I'm using the right name.
I'm Speaking OF The Bottom Apps On The Home Screen. Is it possible to get rid of them and have a 5 or 6 length screen

You can do that with Nova launcher.

You should be able to do this within your launcher. I know apex has a back up function but I can't speak as to other launchers.

You should be able to backup stock launcher with titanium. It should be in the system apps.

Just thought to replace my launcher with ADW launcher. After replacing, the double knock to sleep doesn't work anymore.

You have to tap the notification bar when using a different launcher

I believe you can disable them.
Go to the settings menu and application data and go to all and click on which app you want to get rid of and hit turn off.

Ok my question is i have a stock s4 and im using the google experience launcher but i dont like the icons because they are really big and ugly so does anyone know of a icon pack that i could use i tried looking in the play store but all of them are only compatible with nova or apex launchers. Also is there a download for the kitkat icons from the nexus 5?

Use Desktop ViualizeR
It's kind of a pain to do but the best method I found is a app called Desktop VisualizeR. It allows you to create widgets that are basically standard icons. You can pick whatever icons from different theme packs. Only downside is you have to do the icons one by one.
I can do all that on my phone tho with no computer needed?

I found the perfect way to change the icons check this out https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jy.iconchanger.ad
