Does the LG G2 support charging and using OTG at the same time with a USB-OTG-Y-cable?
No, it is not that simple... nobody solved it up till now I Think.... or did not share the solution.
Tried different methods myself and no expected results....

As far as I rememmber only Verizon models has it built in. Other models require special phone Qi cases with standard Qi charger...
did anyone find a way yet?

No, I don't think it's been solved yet and as far as wireless charging... charging automatically stops when a thumbdrive is attached to the OTG cable.

Check for damaged pins on the phones micro usb socket.
This happened to me before but was able to straighten it out using a fine needle as a temp fix.
Wow.... Mate, thanks a million that worked for me.

My guess is that it's a bad adapter, if *nothing* works, but you know your micro usb port is connecting with other things well.

Hi all,
Do we have the ability to use a USB DAC with the g2? I'm considering the audioquest firefly and thought I'd ask. Is it kernel related?

I haven't tried the firefly, but the FIIO e 17 works perfectly on my LG g2.

No - which also surprised me. Works out of the box. You just need the special OTG cable. My Hegel HD 2 also works.
Bump.
Will Poweramp support it?
And How do you connect DAC to the Phone?

I haven't tried poweramp, but everything I have tried works with the USB Dac's I have tried. You need an OTG cable, that's all.
I apologize in advance if this has been asked before. I just got my note 3 today its MJ7 and Kingo just hangs on connecting forever it for 10...20...30 minutes. I have disabled anti virus I have enabled usb debugging set screen timeout to 10 minutes and nothing is working. I even unistalled the drivers reinstalled them and even let the Kingo app install. Should I just update to the newest and try like that?
Much help appreciated

Hmm, sounds like you are doing everything right. Did you try another usb port or possibly have another pc to try?

That fits the 3.0 output on the note 3? I don't have one ughh
Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
You can use any micro usb cable. It doesn't have to be the 3.0 cable. A standard micro usb cable fits in the right side of the charging port.

Try these: can't say they will 100% work though, since day one I've always had rooted ROMS.
