Some one offered me $250. I love the N10, maybe that is why I am having a hard time parting ways with it.
What do you guys think? would you?

$250 is a bargain. I paid €500. Mine was new. But this is really cheap even for a second hand. Watch out from who and where you buy it. And if it has damage. Is it the 32 or 16 GB version?

This is the 16GB. Pretty much in mint condition. I was just thinking to myself that it might be time to part ways since the new one might come out and this might lose its value.
What do you suggest as a price?
I was also throwing in a case that can transform in to a stand and also wakes the tablet.

I'm in the same boat. I have it on craigslist for 300 and havnet really got any responses. I will probably let it go for 280. I really love it but my work got me a new ipad (I know, iknow) and there is no reason to have two tablets. Wish I could sell the ipad

I recently sold mine for $325 with a case and the MagNector charging cable(which I never really liked using). I sold it cause I know the new one will be released any day now and I just don't think the old one had quite enough power for what it did. Great tablet, I miss it, but it was time to get rid of it so I could easily sell it before the new one launches. It all depends on what kind of condition it's in I guess. Mine was near flawless, so it increased the value.

Wait... they bought you an iPad for WORK, and don't let you use a Nexus 10? What kind of proprietary, closed-off stuff are they using? You could accomplish way more with the N10 than the equivalent iPad for nearly $1000 less cost to your work!

I have the 16 GB version in a good case that works as a stand, plus the magnector cable, which I love. If I knew I could get $300 cash I guess I'd do it. Not sure I want the hassle of trying to sell something on Craigslist, and Atlanta is so spread out I'd have to do some real driving to meet prospective buyers.

Just eBay. The fees suck, but I don't trust Craigslist after the stories I've heard. I got back a good deal of my investment, so it won't hurt so much when I buy the new one. You know... IF they ever get around to releasing it.
I miss it now though. Come on Google... Any time you're ready.
Why is the XDA app still not letting me reply, modify, quote, or thank the right posts? Maybe this extra post will help!

I sold mine last night, used Kijiji up here in Canada.
Had it on there for a few days, only one response which thankfully was legit.
With a portenzo book case, and the Nexus 16gb in mint condition I took back $300. I am pretty happy with that, highly doubt I would have gotten any more back at all.
Sold mine for 260. It was a 16 gig model. Needed a quick sale. I think he got a good deal. My n10 was well taken care of!

I will be as soon as I know a release date for Nexus Prime. For tmobile that is.
...On a side note, I don't care about your speculations as to whether it is or is not coming out for tmobile. I DON'T CARE. We will find out later that is all anyone can say.
I sure hope it does, looks cool. I've read a couple of reviews on it. So best of luck.

As an owner of an NS since day 1 of BB release I highly recommend you spend your money on ANY non samsung smartphone. Nexus S being no exception. I've been hanging on as long as I can for an ICS device although now looking at the UI I'm strongly thinking about going Verizon and Bionic. I can't wait to relinquish my NS. What a POS.

I have always heard some good experiences with ebay although I cannot speak on the amount of money you would get based on how you configure your sale. I personally always go for craig's list because it allows you to work out an arrangement that you both can agree on instead of settling. Works best if you use the built in auto forward email feature so that you do not have to disclose your email address to potential buyers and leave the possibility of being bothered later when the Nexus is long gone. Good luck!

Craigslist for me too, so I can deal locally and in cash. If you have a problem on eBay there's nothing eBay will do to help and you will be out either your money or the device...
I sold my HTC flyer within 2 days on craigslist. While there are still crooks on cl, by dealing locally and in cash, I've never had any problem. I also use the email forwarder and provide no personal details until I can smell that all is on the up and up...

I think eBay will get you more money as far as "hey, I sold it for $175" but then when you pay the fees and the shipping you end up with $125 in your pocket. Craigslist will give you cash instantly (no gaming playing with PayPal), and you will probably get more in the end if you sell it for less money.

Yeah but its not like you'll be out of anything besides time. You don't send the product until they pay. Some jerks will bid on a item with no intentions to pay but its not like you take a loss financially. Ebay will refund all fees associated with listing the item if the buyer doesn't pay. But it does suck if you have to go thru the hassle of relisting it again lol.

I second this.
my vote goes towards Amazon. this is where i sold my Asus TF101.
and 2nd to Swappa.
I go craigslist. But if you use craigslist post a number if you actually want to sell. Myself and everybody I know skip over adds that don't post a number, when I actually want to buy something I want to talk to you now not wait for you to ignore my email because your to lazy to take 30 seconds and delete your add (which really is that easy from an android phone) after a sell like a previous reply implied.
Thanks for the suggestions.

I would try another tech forum like Hard OCP or Anandtech or similar. Both have established markets with few incidents. Make sure the user can verify themselves, uses Heatware, etc. If that failed, I'd try Craigslist, meet publicly, cash-only, etc. The hits from either Paypal or Ebay alone is OK but NOT both. I only sell things on ebay if I know I can't sell it elsewhere (needs bigger market, niche item).

With the price being as low as it is, there's not really a 3rd party insurance that is worth the trouble. If you can get one from say bestbuy, where you get the bestbuy protection plan, its one story. They'll let you get a replacement right off the shelf with no waiting. These 3rd party insurance plans are more expensive to begin with, and they make you mail your hardware half way around the world turning it into a 2 week ordeal to get an issue fixed. The headache of dealing with the insurance company only over the phone and through emails and the longer wait just isn't worth it for something that you can buy for under $200.

50 dollars for 3 years of accidental insurance+12 case. Pretty good imo
Squaretrade accidental 2 year policy. It does not cover lost devices but will cover damage with no deductible and a 5 day turnaround. They also hand out coupons like candy so the plan i got was roughly 35 dollars. Which is cheaper than some premium cases. Best option imho

Just itemize it under your homeowners or renters insurance. $200 coverage prob runs about $15 / year depending on who you are with.
I prefer to buy my electronic devices through Best Buy because of their insurance coverage (went through 3 DINC2's and didn't pay a penny to replacr) but they weren't selling them in my area. I ended up buying mine at Office Depot. Insurance was about $70 which I think may be a little too much, but it covers EVERYTHING.

Is the HTC unlocked? Sell it on eBay and buy the nexus. But honestly, it's not worth it the nexus is somewhat of a downgrade. My bro has a one and the screen and speakers alone are a lot better. Plus, 16gb does suck I have 10 GB of music and I don't like to stream because T-Mobile doesn't have the best signal when I'm driving around town. And if you don't like sense put cm on the phone. Sell the one on eBay or clist or swappa. Then buy the nexus off of eBay or the playstore. I think a new nexus is about 350 or so. A HTC one used is about 450 to 500 I'm guessing. The point is that a bad deal on your side. The nexus has been out for about a year and the one for about a month. The nexus can be boght brand new at a cheaper rate then the one.

honestly i just wanted to try something different and the nexus looks pretty bad ass to me i just like the over all design. i am not all up to date on specs and features so im not going in very educated to this trade thats why i came here i like the htc and all but i really have always sort of had a thing for nexus phones. so just keep the htc is the vibe im getting? what phone WOULD be worth trading the htc one for? im always looking for something new...smh
Nexus 4 has a bad photo camera.
No full LTE support.
No extSD.
but has much better software cos it's vainilla/aosp Android with Google binaries that are supported on AOSP without issues.
The Nexus 4 hardware would be a downgrade. How about you flash your H1 to aosp instead? Then you would have the same software as the nexus.

Hi, I got a Nexus 7 last December and loved it. Please note the passed tense because a month ago, a friend sat on my Nexus 7 and the screen cracked.
I have since been planning on buying a new screen on eBay for about $100. However, recently I have been hearing about the leaked specs of the next gen Nexus 7.
What I am wondering is if I should save up more money for the new one and just trash the old tablet with my friends scrawny butt imprinted in glass, or just fix it because the next gen isn't worth it.
I'd love to hear your thoughts because I can't decide.
Not to be a ****, but doesn't your friend have insurance that could refund that $100? It's normal here to be insured for breaking other people's stuff.

Not to be a ****, but doesn't your friend have insurance that could refund that $100? It's normal here to be insured for breaking other people's stuff.

Most home owners or renters insurance has a deductible that's greater than the $100...

Either sell it for parts. Hint hint. and save the money for the new Gen. Or fix it and sell it. Personally, I'd sell it for parts.

Yeah, that could work. Probably could get 50-100 for the cracked one, more if I include things like my case (probably won't fit the new one by my guess)
Sell them separate. Will take more time. But more money. If you want a quick 100 sell it as a whole.

Looking for the quick 100, I really miss having a tablet. :'( Also it has been rumored that the base model of the next gen will only be $229 (current gen 199) so I will have most of the tablet paid for by the time it comes out. I think I've made my decision, thanks everyone
