Hello guys, sorry for my bad english, I am italian
I flashed the firmware MJ3 UK and now I can't go back to the MJ1, there is a way to get it back?
Odin hangs on aboot, even the cell. crashes reporting an error of eFUSE.
Is there a way to install other firmware (more 'old)?
Thank you.

Shouldn't really be in this forum. Anyway, boot into your phone and go turn off the "reactivation lock". It's under Settings -> General.

cuz question go in the Q&A section.. DEV section is ONLY for roms/kernels/etc.. and to answer your question i am afraid the answer is no... the bootloader was updated in the latest update and if it is anything like the note 2 you may end up borking your efs partition

stuck at samsung logo.... what should i do?
Start the phone in recovery mode and do a full wipe. You will lose all your data so I hope you backed up first

its actually my fault mate, i chose the wrong button in Odin, i chose the CP button instead of AP (before it was PDA).
Hey,
I was flashing me S3 today I did everything correctly, but when I finally got to the home screen I noticed a caution circle where my signal should be, I thought it was just a glitch but when I reset my phone a few times saw it was there permanently.
Here what I mean http://gyazo.com/f64104214e8eb8a044f726317225f322
I look around online before coming here and most required dailing a number but I couldn't do any of that.
Have I really messed up my phone or is this a easy(ish)
I am now downloading the stock samsung 4.1.2 as I have read flashing the stock rom can sometimes work.

No, once you flash 4.4 you cannot go back to 4.3 firmware or roms. Only the SM-N900W8 can do that. Btw, it's not a stupid question, better safe than sorry.

Thanks for the quick reply. Now that I think of it it's not that stupid of a question but I was stupid in the sense that I posted in the wrong forums. This was meant for the AT&T version...

Hmm, there might be something there - in the international Note there is N900W8 which DOES allow 4.4 -> 4.3 and I think I might have seen one of the major US versions with a claim of letting a downgrade 4.4 -> 4.3 but I can't say which one, you will have to look in the AT&T forum to be certain.
Greetings,
I am embarrassed to say I have messed up my S5
I was in Safestrap and evidently formatted an incorrect partition
As a result, it just boot loops to the first splash screen
I have unsuccessfully tried to Odin back to a custom image...except that particular .tar/process is for the developer variety.
Is there any way to get SafeStrap back on or recover through Odin?
My tail is between my legs!
Best,
Landlocked
First....please don't post questions in the Dev section.
Second : grab the tar from here and flash in ODIN. That will restore you back to stock. At least it will be working again.

Howdy! Please post in the correct sections. There's a whole section devoted to questions & the section you posted in (development) has specific rules about what is acceptable. Basically, if you didn't "create it" don't post in development.
Moved the thread to Q&A where it belongs, thanks!
Hi there guys, Ive bought a S5 a couple of months ago and now want install a different stock rom provided by Samsung which matches the country I live in. Now I have got the following setup:
Model phone: SM-G900F
Current installed baseband/Samsung Stock ROM: G900FXXU1ANG2
I want to install this Samsung Stock ROM: G900FXXU1ANH6
Is it possible for me to do this (with Odin) or how else? Without or with ROOT acces without
voiding warranty or the KNOX counter?
I hope somebody can help me with this issue, I have rooted devices before but the S5 and KNOX are totally new for me,
thanks in advance!!

Don`t act offended mate, these rules apply to all users and its not a personal thing. Sure you can flash a stock rom with Odin 3.09 without root and it shouldn`t cause any issue as long as the rom is compatible with your device.

Thanks for your reply, I was more surprised because I've only started this topic and asked one time in an other thread before I posted this topic. Now it's more clear to me, thanks for your suggestion. I'm using a Macbook so Odin wont be an option for me I think. I've tried to find an option in Kies to choose which firmware to install, but no luck.

Look here for tuts. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=macbook+and+Odin. JOdin should work on a Mac i think.
-Edit- This method is not recommended for large files it seems according to OP (Adam Outler).

It depends on the firmware you are using to flash. Some firmware can be flashed with Odin, some firmware can only be flashed with Kies.
Install Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app > Menu > 'Firmware Browser' > enter XXU into the CSC textbox and tap Go button to search. You will see a list of stock firmware that are compatible with your device. The one with the brighter Kies icon can be flashed with Kies. The one with the dimmed Kies icon can only be flash with Odin.
