For some reason when I am downloading or updating apps now the progress meter no longer shows in the dropdown menu and the icon in the notification bar at the top is no longer there. Once it is done downloading, the icon reappears and shows it is updating. Does anyone know how I can get this to show up again?
***I think I may have figured out the issue: I had turned off download manager and downloads in application manager but now have turned them back on and it is still not showing the download progress. Anyone know of a way to fix this issue?

I have two successful download notifications that are stuck in the notification bar. Initially they were apps I downloaded from market but that didn't install properly. I can clear these notifications but they always come back everytime I download something. How can I get rid of these? Any ways to clear somewhere the temp folder where apps are downloaded? I know this is really diggin deep but I have this same problem on my droid, and have seen it on another droid. Is there a fix? Right now there's 4 notifications stuck in my pulldown that randomly pop back up.
It appears as if the notification bar on my phone simply doesnt work. Could this be because its not activated yet? I dont see how that would make sense, but its the only thing I can think of. I took it out of the box to play around with it and bypassed the activation screen, but the notifcation bar doesnt work at all.
Ive tried both pulling it down on the screen, and hitting menu then notifications - nothing happens either way. I downloaded a program (GPS test) from the market, and the notification that its done is just sitting there with no way to get rid of it...

I'm on liberty 1.5, with go launcher. I have go launcher set to hide the status bar, and open notifications when I hit home while on a homescreen.
With the original liberty theme, things were fine. Then, I installed the nex-theme (had to dl on my comp because it wasn't working through the toolbox). When I hit home to drop down the notifications, the top bar (status bar?) disappears, but if I'm in an app and drop down the notification bar, the status bar is still there. I went into the go launcher settings, and set it to show the status bar, and it does, and continues to show when I drop down the notifications.
I'd like to have the status bar hidden on the home screen, but still show (like it used to) when I drop the notifications down.
Any ideas?
Also, if you guys know why I can't install themes through the toolbox, I'd appreciate some help. I didn't leave the screen, didn't loose wifi, and it went into recovery automatically. The file downloaded through toolbox was incomplete (12.x instead of 16.x MB), but I'm not sure why it didn't finish.

If you choose to hide the status bar, it will he hidden. That's what the setting means
How do you remove the annoying Android Wear continuous notification? I hate apps that just sit in the status bar giving useless information like "Connected", if I need to know if it's connected I can just look at the watch!

The icon is needed to always be showing so that the process is never garbage collected and thrown out. The watch software needs to always be running to keep a constant connection with the phone.
I'm not sure about you, but the icon actually doesn't show up in my status bar minimized, but it does show when I pull the status bar down which is fine with me.
I thought I would try hiding with gravitybox but I couldn't find it listed. I would prefer not to have it listed in the dropdown
Long press the notification ,then you will see the ''application's notification'' , enter it,then cancer the notification

Before to ask I must said that I have done a huge research and check every post mentioning status bar issues, I even look through the Home screens post and similar post where members where showing their home screens to check if I could see the location icon in any status bar.
I have a S7 edge with HydraRom 1.4, Xposed is installed and the Flat Style Bar Indicator mod is there too working wonderfully but, I can't get to manage to see the Location icon on the status bar when I activate it and I have try all.
I only use Location active when I go out in night time to do Astro Photography, together with some apps helps me to do the polar alignment of my tracking mounts. I want to see the icon on the status bar to be sure it is active without the need to unlock the phone and drag the status bar down to check, I am starting to be afraid it is not possible like the sync icon which is not showing neither but, that one is not bothering much.
Any help will be appreciated!!
