Can't log in to Xfinity TV go since mje

I've used xfinity player, xfinity connect, xfinity my tv apps for years. They initially worked on my Note 3 unrooted mje. Now I cannot sign in to any of them. I keep getting an Internet connection error. I can log in through browser so nothing wrong with Internet connection. I just cannot log in to any of the xfinity apps. Yes I know my user name and password or I couldn't log in through browser. Anyone else able to try logging out then logging in to see if yours works?

I am using the Xfinity TV app with no problems. Rooted, Beans build 5 which is mje based. Have you tried cleaning cache? If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstall.

Yup. Tried all the usual stuff. I cant log in to any xfinity app now. Xfinity reset my password but it didn't help. I need someone stock mje to log out and in to see what happens. Preferably someone who also uses caller id app. Since it runs 4g and wifi simultaneously I wonder if it screws up login protocols somehow. I did try freezing the app and 4g turned off but still couldn't log in even through wifi. Weird.

MJE, rooted, CallerID frozen. Logged out and then logged back in with no problems.

I appreciate the input. Baffled. I actually use caller ID but to be sure that it wasn't a conflict I shut it off and tried again to no avail . Xfinity even tried resetting my password but no dice. I dread a system reset without root. I've forgotten every problem and every solution involved but I remember there were some. I can't imagine there is something wrong with my phone that only effects one app. All my others I fine and I can log in to Xfinity apps on ipad and maxx hd

Have ypu tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? How many other devices? Registered download devices limited to just 3.

yup. unistalled reinstalled reset password restarted phone cleared cache in phone.
i can sign in on ipad and maxx hd but not note 3.

I wonder if caller ID app could screw up xfinity log in? Does anyone have active caller ID and xfinity tv go? Of course Caller ID keeps 4G awake even with wifi on and maybe that screws up their log in protocols? I know xfinity app used to work before but even when I froze caller ID and I do pay for it I still couldn't log in to xfinity. It's got to be some app interfering but I can't imagine what. I deleted anti virus but that made no difference. I logged out and in on max hd again. It's frustrating.

Found the cure. I had shut off some certificates that I didn't 5 honk I needed. Apparently I did need them all

Good for you. But's what's "5 honk"? Not in my vocabulary....

Typo I constantly hit numbers when I mean to hit letters on top row of samsung keyboard.

Sprint ATIV S Neo (SPH-I800) and Internet Sharing

One of my buddies mentioned to me that the old Samsung Focus WP7 phone had the ability to unlock Bluetooth Internet tethering. I really would like to be able to share my 4G connection on my ATIV S Neo with my Galaxy S4, mostly because Google Glass is kind of useless with Windows Phone and I don't want to switch back to my S4 as my main phone.
Has anyone figured how to bypass the check that verifies whether or not Internet Sharing is turned on with your plan?

Some people have reported that switching csc codes worked on the normal Ativ S, but I don't know if that works on the NEO.

Where can I get Phone Screen Sharing app?

Hello.
I'm using the Note 3 model name SM-N900. The Russia Rom N900XXUEBOA6 is running on my phone. It is stock rom from Sammobile.
The problem is that my phone does not have any phone screen sharing app. Some said it is basically installed in the rom, but mine does not have it.
So some other people said me to install at the Galaxy app store (which is same as Samsung apps), BUT THERE WAS NO PHONE SCREEN SHARING APP.
For this reason I guess, I cannot run Sidesync with my laptop. My laptop is the brand new ATIV BOOK 9. There must not be any problem on it.
Could you guys give me any suggestions to resolve this problem? By the way, I live in NY, USA.

@ysuk9127 you don't need any app for this. You have this option of screen mirroring in notification toggles just turn it on and it will show you compitable devices on the same wifi network if you have connected.

Quick connect - TV to mobile

Hey guys, i have a big question.
So i have s7 edge, and i recently bought also a TV set also Samsung, 50KU6000 (its actually KU6092, but the last digits is specific to Eastern Europe, its same thing with 6000 in UK).
I was extremely surprised to see if i access quick connect (at the bottom of notification area) and click my tv (same wireless network, Bluetooth on, on the phone) and got a "TV to mobile".... And it actually sent the image from TV to my phone. I can actually go to the bathroom and continue watching what's on tele on my phone. This feature is awesome, i wished for it for many years now.
So my issue is... Ia This a feature of the phone or the TV's. I searches very hard on the Internet and i can't find any mention of this. Did anyone else tried this with their phones on smart TVs?
Ps: this is not screen mirroring, and its not phone to tv (through chromecast, or miracast, or smart view). It's actual program from tv on the phone. Not an iptv app nothing... Just whatever i see on tv on a channel its gets send to my phone, if i change to another channel it also changes on the phone

Sounds cool, I actually just returned that tv as the base wasn't great on it but never knew that feature.

By "tv to mobile" do you mean you had to install an app for this to work because i miss this function since i first had it on the Galaxy S3 and loved it. If so, please let me know what the app is called and I'll see if it works on my Samsung smart tv.

Just log into your Samsung account on your Samsung TV and then open quick connect on phones drop down menu n select TV to mobile which is only for samsung tv n phone. Hope it helps

@krico no app. No dongle @Jgonzmp4011 are you implying this was a function available for years? One just had to login into Samsung account on TV. If you are, than... Damn... Wtf didn't Samsung advertised this

how use KIES in S10+ ?

I just bought an S10 + on it at bestbuy and it arrives tomorrow. then I will read on this forum to see everything you said, but I would like to take advantage of it and post a question that I have for a long time but can not find anything about it on the net. Suddenly you know something about how to make it work. in the pc I have to install the KIES that works until the S4. From S5 forward only works with SMART SWITCH. I would like to know if there is some way to make s10 work in KIES or some similar program, because the smart switch only makes a backup, and kies no, I can access the folders inside the cel and see the thumbnails of the files, which help a lot and I really like this function when saving photos and videos on the pc. is there any program that is similar to kies for s10 or that has to cheat kies so that he can get the s10?

I downloaded kies3 which for some reason detects the phone but then tells me I have to be in some specific usb mode which dosent exist in the phone developer settings, then it fails to show the phone.

maybe this happens because it does not have an s10 driver for windows that works on kies

Samsung Kies is obsolete and deprecated.

No all that's installed Samsung sent me all the links to everything needed for kies3. But it still asks for USB mode MTC or something can't remember exactly now.
My pc recognizes my phone I can navigate and transfer files via Windows 10 file manager. Adb works fine, just kies3 has issue.

This is what I get, even with anti virus and firewalls disabled there's writing allowed.

as far as I know kies is no longer updated for many years and only works until S4 or S5, after that only the smart switch
That's why you have these problems.
what makes me annoyed is that it is not possible as there is no program similar to kies or that some programmer can not make kies work with other devices above s4. It should not be difficult for anyone who understands programming and a lot of people who know how to manipulate applications, who modify roms, etc.
