Hi, anyone has experienced with N9005 16G internal memory? Is it the same with the 32G (not mention about internal memory)? Thanks.
I read that although Samsung told the world it would only sell a 32g and 64g version of this phone but at the end it only released the 32g version and because of carrier pressure it made an European 16g version maybe that's your model

Hi, thanks. So I guess it's also real Samsung product then coz all i read is 32G/64G versions launched.

I can't see the point either. They are only about 10-15 bucks less from the 32G ones. I guess it's for the no-game on phone people and with bloatware and OS, i think it's only got about 6G left?

Is it running smoothly? how much internal memory you got left?
Yes runs good,
System memory 4.07gb
Used space 1.35gb
Miscellaneous files 4.22
Available space 6.32
Ram free 1.29gb
I do have a few apps installed

I got the N9005 16gb model too.
I was a bit afraid that it wouldn't be enough, but i think i will manage.
The phone comes with exactly 16gb memory, not like my old galaxy nexus that came with 13,3gb(i think) even though i bought the 16gb model.
You will have close to 10gb or just little more then 10gb left for use right when you get it, if i remember correctly.
If you plan to buy this model and install large games/apps, i can recommend you to use a program called FolderMount. It lets you link the app data to your SD card without the hassle of needing 2 partitions on the card.

Hi, thank you for your information. I will get the 16G then because I cant wait for the 32G I think I can manage the internal memory usage, thanks for the app FolderMount. I used to have Note 2 16G, and got no problem at all. I also have 32G SD card, and not a gamer.

I was in your position before too, whether to get the 16gb model or wait for n9005 32gb variant to be sold here. I just couldn't wait anymore and went for the 16gb region free model. Happy so far!
I'm currently having 9.5gb free usable space after installing some games/apps. Space shouldn't be a problem now after finding out about that app and using my recently bought 64gb micro SD-card.

5GB on the 8GB Model, 13GB on the 16GB Model. But with Custom Roms, this can probably be increased.

Around 5.4 GBs on the 8GB Model, 13.5 GBs on the 16 GB Model. I mean, the 8GB version must be enough for most people, But I have over 10Gbs of music that I listen to frequently, I will probably have to get the 16GB model as I don't trust cloud storage at all.

use Google Music to store your music and just stream it. also you have the option to download the songs you want from your playlist.
Not bad at all. It's top of my list this phone, looks like it matches the Xperia P here. I'll be okay,I have 4gb right now,and I was thinking, 13GB is massive, when thinking about the XP .

I'm praying for 6.5 or 6 after ROM w/ a Custom Rom with the 8GB.
Yeah it'll probably get bigger with a lean ROM. Won't be rooting mine though. It's about time I played dumb like an iPhone User. Won't even theme it. Default wallpaper, the whole nine yards.
My s4 is showing 8gb storage any ideas why?
If you have the 16GB version of the S4.
You will have been 8-9 gb free, the rest is used by firmware and partitions.
how do you have a storage issue? buy a 64 gb sd card and never worry again!
just use the 16gb internal for apps & maybe a few ROMs
You can't install apps to a micro sd card though..

nobody suggested installing apps to the sd card. 8gb should be more than enough for most apps. if it isnt enough for the ones you use, return it and get the 32gb version

9 gigs is so tight x:
after 2 bigger games, 3 mid sized ones and all your apps it's full... thank god for FolderMount
9 gb is cutting it close, one of the reasons m getting the phone is bcoz Galaxy s phones r so good at high end games.
this might be a deal breaker
It's a joke. Samsung claim they are selling the S4 in 3 memory sizes and now won't bring 32/64gb to UK. For a top phone you need more internal memory for apps and games.

well didn't they sell the SIII in all three versions there?

seriously thought I had heard about some pre-orders last year, sorry then :/
it's not coming to my country either, neither did the SIII so yeah.
just as ****ed as you as I wanted the 32GB version
Are Samsung ever going to release the S4 with 64GB internal memory as stated, or even one with 32GB internal memory?
All signs point to probably not.
i hope so, i preordered two ... im not buying anything less than 64 so.. ill continue to wait, got an N900 holdin me down.
edit: the 32 is already out in the 9500 flavor .. 24GB freespace
why wait or pay so much more for a 32 or 64 gig version, just get a 64gb sd card and slap it in. cost a lot less than the phone does
You can't move all games on sd, only some. So, you need larger internal memory.

too true, don't understand why they even put 16gb in if they are going to cram half of it with bloatware. minimum should have been 32 to start with
but once you root it and put CM10.X on it you will have a lot more room

What's file binding?
And to answer the original question: I think Australia will be also getting a 32gb model in the coming wks (don't take this as gospel though, it's an unconfirmed rumour as far as I'm concerned).
File binding and rooting doesn't work yet, has reliability issues and stops some apps from working.
Internal memory works better. We need bigger memory models. The 16gb should never have been sold.

Unlike Apple, Samsung doesn't sell the phone directly. It gets orders from the carriers and wholesalers. The carriers no nothing about the memory and apps issues so just ordered the cheapest model as it would sell the most. But they were basing this decision on lack of technical information.
Every single mobile phone shop is lying to customers telling them apps can be moved to the sd card. I have corrected the staff but do they care to raise it higher.

Yeah, but not only. If you check websites like Amazon, even there are only 16 GB devices They will release in 4-5 months the 32 and 64 gigs, when another, more powerful smartphone with 16 gigs will be released.
32GB is already out and being sold. there was a vid on youtube, ill look for it.
edit: BOOM!
Any further speculation/rumor on the 32 release (on AT&T specifically)? I spoke with a rep who said they will be getting the 32gb version, but did not know when. I spoke with a samsung customer service/marketing rep on facebook who said to contact AT&T for info. No help at all, and 16 just seems too small even with the 64gb microSD

How about some more magic and make that YouTube S4 appear for sale in the UK.
Any news update on 32gb/64gb with LTE models? I'd rather buy an 64gb htc one than a 16gb+64microsd S4. But I like the S4 more than the One.
I am also waiting for the 32GB version, don't know when it will be available in Middle East, can't wait to get my hands on this beast.

Can't we move apps to SD card on here? If not then I'm kind of kicking myself now. Lol. But at the same time, if you plan on rooting and working with a custom ROM you can pick and choose what apps you need while reserving space for extras that you want or too need. But patience also brings about great things. Who knows, maybe you'll end up grabbing the Note 3 or the Google edition S4 if it comes to Sprint or is able to be brought to Sprint. I was only in a hurry to upgrade because I was getting sick of my EVO and HTC all together. Kind of comes down to patience now. In your boat it sounds like 32gb might be the way to go if we ever see it on Sprint. 64 seems like overkill unless same price.

Not yet..... I waited many days for 32 gb variant, but nothing.
Then..... 1 month ago I have 16 gb variant, using "folder mount" app. I use a 32 gb sdcard and all my games and big data apps (I have about 16 gb) is stored in sdcard, and my S4 storage has 6.60gb free !!! :fingers-crossed: the 32gb or 64 gb variants not needed after all......just saying.

Thanks but I've found in the past some E-Bay sellers list products not actually yet shipping to get their order books full.
Has anyone physically seen an internal 32gb unit?
Go for the one posted in the link. That is where i also bought my phone from and yes he post straight away and it is genuine 32gb internal memory. Very happy with it.
I bought the 16Gb one, i don't need more than that because i dont install much apps and i use a 64GB microsd for my music and media, i had a 32GB S3 but only because i didnt want to experience the sudden death of the 16GB models
I'll ask the question yet again and hopefully people won't push to a link for ebay auctions this time.
Has ANYONE actually seen a S4, in the flesh, with more than 16gb of internal memory. Your brothers second cousins seeing one doesn't count, your link to a seller supposely selling one doesn't count, seeing one at a show doesn't count....touching one with your own hands does count!

Nope.
So there does not appear to be 32GB or 64GB variants of either the S4 or the S4 active actually shipping......
I wonder when/if Sammie will pull their finger out and start? With S4 sales supposedly below target it's the natural thing to do to boost demand although only after the channel has sold through the bulk of its stock.
