Try twrp>BACKUPS>01adfafasfbbdf(some number)>Here. This is the location where your nandroid backups are stored when you make them. :good:

I received a warranty replacement seven. when I booted it, it updated to 4.2. after, i made a nandroid backup of my old n7(4.1.2) and restored it on my new n7. no problems going from 4.2 to 4.1.2 here.
I downgraded to 4.1.2 successfully, it booted and everything worked.
The problem begun when I restored my titanium backup, that's the question

[Q] Not able to restore my backup (ORCA 4.2.2 ROM)

i made a full apps backup and then flashed ORCA ROM 4.2.2 but when i try to restore the backup it restores only 2 apps(Solid explorer, Photo editor)
the backup was made using Nexus Root-toolkit, and without system apps ....... another thing is that when i try to flash Gapps through TWRP it says flashed successfully but nothing is actually installed or appears in my applications

[Q] Long Story Short... Cant Restore from Twrp Backup

Then while still rooted i upgraded to 4.3 from the device... then i rerooted. When i rerooted i flashed the newest version of twrp recovery 2.6. and i cant restore from my backup for some reason.... I tried to flash old versions of twrp and restore with no luck ... please help because i need the files for titanium backup to work. How do i get the data from that backup?

Backing up messages

Hey guys. I am on stock 4.4 and I want to flash purity 4.4. My question is, how can I backup my messages, call logs from stock and restore them on purity? I know you can't do this from 4.4 to 4.3, but can you do it from 4.4 to 4.4?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
use SMS backup and restore from google play store.
I only use it to backup/restore sms, not sure if it does call logs as well.
Otherwise, you could use wugfresh's toolkit to do the backups of those things.
The latest version of Titanium Backup has the ability to perform the task you're looking for.

Restore app data from kitkat nandroid to lollipop?

Hey guys, needs some assistance. I just upgraded to 5.0. I made a nandroid backup before doing so but I assumed that google would backup app data. It did for most but for most but some apps the data wasnt saved. Is there a way to restore app data only through TWRP? Also when loading TWRP on 5.0 I cant see the nandroid directory I made for 5.0 and TWRP doesnt recognize my old kit kat nandroid. To clarify If i use the file manager I can see it but when selecting restore it oly shows the 5.0 nandroid I made. Am I missing something? Did the directory of the nandroids get moved from 4.4 to 5.0? I want to avoid installing the stock 4.4 image just to restore my kit kat nandroid , then backup my data correctly then reinstall 5.0. There's gotta be a workaround....help?
Nevermind. I just bit the bullet and flashed the factory 4.4 image. restored my nandroid, did a proper backup, and reflashed 5.0. Close the thread
