So today I noticed something when I rebooted, all of my apps are out of their folders in the app drawer, for example I have a folder called social networking and the two apps facebook and facebook messenger will come out of that folder every time I restart the phone. I've tried clearing cache and data on tw launcher, and powering off and on but none of these help, anyone else experiencing this issue?
Edit: Tried a factory reset, this did not fix the issue, apps are still coming out of their folders on a force close of tw launcher or a reboot of the phone. This is annoying as hell!

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone else has seen this problem or knows of a fix:
At random times with no intervention, the application info page appears for a (random) app with the force stop dialog in front of it asking me if I want to force stop an app. If I hit cancel it does the same thing again for a different app. It goes through many different apps in an apparently random order and then stops (also for no apparent reason). My phone is unrooted running stock ROM. I have tried many things including clearing the System and App caches changing launcher (I normally use Nova launcher) removing memory card but nothing seems to help.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for your help,
Jonathan
Did you use package disabler?
Yes I have package disabler installed. It doesn't seem to make much difference whether all apps are enabled not.
I have no idea if this could even be answered in these forums, but here goes.
I use Vaulty to hide pictures on my phone with a password. Restoring data and app has always worked from TB, from phone to phone or ROM to ROM. Today I flashed a custom OOS ROM and it didn't go so well.
Behavior: Hangs/ freezes during any kind of gallery search or media loading. This eventually results in a force close. The settings work, but if you try to switch accounts, it will hang on the screen where it's trying to find old vaults.
Things I have done: Force close the app, clear data, clear cache. Uninstall and reinstall from Play Store. Uninstall and restore only app from TB. Froze 3rd party gallery apps. Set the default gallery app. I even installed another vault program - Vault. This app won't even load up AT ALL. It goes black immediately upon trying to open it. This led me to think something else might be going on.
Has anyone seen anything like this? Anything I could try?

I actually managed to recover the pictures, saved them of the phone and switched to keepsafe, it works better. I found that adding the app manually and logging in, trying to restore just data from TB, and a bunch of other combinations finally allowed me to recover the pictures. This was a while back so I don't remember exactly but eventually I got it.

Thanks for the response. My problem is, I have old vaulty backup on my phone and no app installed. Today I tried to install app to recover my backup. But it went blank screen as soon as I open my app. Tried different apks of different versions from net. But it won't go beyond black screen. Tried all cleanup, cache removal from twrp and from app settings. But same. Aldo tried to install different vault app to check what happen and surprisingly it also freeze at app startup screen and won't go beyond black screen. I think it's ROM problem and some file would be corrupted which belongs to vault apps working. Last resort is to flash fresh ROM and try. (I even didn't restore app backup from tb as I didn't have one. Always installed fresh app from play store)

I went as far as to try to find out how to convert those proprietary .vaulty files back to pictures with some kind of file converter online. I didn't get very far with that method but that might be the last resort. I think I ended up flashing another ROM at the time too and maybe it was dumb luck that I was able to get it back.
I have been having a weird issue with my A7. Every now and then when using chrome or instagram or any other app, the page/app refresh itself. I tried clearing cache in recovery but it didnt help. Like Im just reopened the app again. For Instagram, it will reload and go back to the top of the page, same for chrome browser (happens a lot browsing facebook). On shopping apps, it comes back to the main screen when im browsing after a search. I tried clearing app caches as well. Only thing left is factory reset. Its realllly annoying sometimes.
Please help with any suggestions before I do that
Mod, please close this thread. I had asked for this duplicate to be delete via a ticket, but it didnt happen for some reason

Hello,
Last weekend, I decided to do a factory reset of my H915 (Oreo, stock, no root). I then reinstalled all my apps and then added a few apks. Soon after, I started to get unwanted fullscreen ads popping up often, wheter I was on Facebook or browsing with Chrome. I did a scan with my ESET antivirus, it found nothing. Installed Malwarebytes, scanned, nothing again, uninstalled it.
Then, I uninstalled these new apks I didn't have before, but the damn ads are still popping up. It never happened before doing the factory reset. So, one of the apks must have had a bug...
Is there a trick (a good app) to remove these damn popups appearing, or I'll have to factory reset again and be more careful while installing apks?
Thanks.

if you are an advanced user, you can find the source app showing the ads by adb logcat or ps commands. if not, just reset, install suspicious apps one by one and see.
I have had that happen. Should be an easy fix...go to settings/general/apps, then scroll all the way to the bottom, long press the blank (invisible) app or apps and uninstall.

I accidentally installed one of these invisible apps that I thought was a real app. It was at the bottom of my app list in settings, got kinda scared but I haven't had any issues after uninstalling.
Ended up doing a factory reset... Should have checked back here before...
Thanks for the infos anyway.
ohh so thats what they do lol.... i always make sure that i dont install invisible icon apps hehe
