You guys thinking abt galaxy grand quattro... will it be like CM so that will be easy to create on quallcomm device.. since Grand quattro is Quallcomm blooded....
will work awesome on this quad core device
You have to ask your device maintainers / developers. If they can work on it, it will be.
As long as you can get AOSP to run on the device, Omni should also be able to run.
We'll all know more as time goes along though.

Hello Everyone,
We all know that ROMS (such as CyanogenMod, MIUI, Paranoid Android, etc.) are one of the best part of Android. It should come to more devices, such as HTC Desire X, Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, Samsung Galaxy Mini 2, ZTE Grand X, Huawei Ascend P1, etc. should also take part in this. I would be happy if there is anyone who agrees with me!
Your Regards,
AlpyzDX
A specific ROM being ported to a device depends on any willing developers who actually own the device, and how easy it is to actually develop for it. It's not as easy as choosing a device name from a drop-down and hitting "Build." I tried for months to port MIUI to my old Droid Charge; a developer who actually knew what he was doing did an early ICS build that didn't work because the radio couldn't work. I'm probably not even describing it correctly. Bottom line, if you want it for a specific device, buy that phone or tablet, a comp with a 64-bit processor and start building.
Hi everyone,
I currently found an AOSP 6.0 Marshmallow port for the OnePlus One. I'm a slight new to this but im ready and willing to learn how to do all of this from source. The OnePlus One has the same chipset, cpu, and gpu so it shouldnt be impossible to get this up and running. Anyone interested in contributing to the cause pm me or post on this thread .
Once I am interested in such things , but later I found it is too hard and lack of info :<

Well its all plain experience and trying and trying over and over till it works. Its quite a lot of work its possible just to wait for everything to happen from the cm team but thats really gonna take a while and im sure with enough knowledge and enough hard workers its possible to pull it off. Especially since a device with near the same hardware has marshmallow ported

Well he was probably trying to kang port it. You need to build it from the source. Port the kernel from source and the same with the source for the rom itself. Its not easy but it can be done. I may give it a go myself even if no one can help or wants to.
I was noticed that I9505 has an Snapdragon 600 and G900S has a Snapdragon 801, but I know that are roms ported from S5 801 to S4 800 (i9506), and I want to know if a rom from Snapdragon 801 can be ported it to Snapdragon 600.
Great thankss.
Have a nice day.
Any1 that knows that previous question?
Thankss.
Any rom can be ported if someone wants to spend enough time doing it.
there are plenty of touchwiz based roms that have system apps ported from the note 3 and 4 s5 and 6. the processor isn't the issue it's whether the framework will allow those apps to run.
the i9505 development forum (not original development) has plenty. maybe unified development roms has what you're looking for. I never check there myself
sorry, just re-read your question, you mean android 6 itself. that sounds like more work than anyone would begin to undertake. especially when you can probably still find or port AOSP and CM roms. touchwiz is going to be optimized for the hardware by Samsung, you'd essentially be recreating marshmallow touchwiz from the ground up.
i need help from the devs here

and i mean it
please help us in porting tw mm for our device

If it would be possible, or that simple, somebody would have ported it already, don't you think?
I think it has a lot to do with the processor generation.
The GT-I9506 has Marshmallow TouchWiz ROMs, because the it has the Snapdragon 800 processor, and the S7 has the 820. So they are very close.
The GT-I9505 has the Snapdragon 600 processor, which is a totally different generation, and the GT-I9500 has a completely different processor.
Hi,
I plan to buy this device but I would firstly like to know that there are roms that I can rely on...
Thank you !
I wanted to get this device too and searched a lots about it... No custom rom...so that made me to choose the Honor 8
Anybody ?
That phone is still young, and it's not a Google phone nor a very famous phone as are Samsung phones. So it will take time to get CM on it, as it took time to get CM on Zenfone 2 (and the Zenfone 2 is Intel based, not Qualcom, wich was a big issue !).
Asus is really not capable to make a good Android based system, and it's quiet annoying to use it. But be patient, I'm pretty sure CM and others will come as soon as possible

This appears to be the main hub for info in this topic, and I am interested as well, so if anyone finds a good ROM for this phone, please post about it here
