In which area did the OP of OmegaRom say that the ROM was compatible with the N900W8?
In any case, think about this...
Kernel: Controls system modules like the Wifi ✓
Baseband: Controls the communications between the network and the device. ✖ (try this)
If even flashing the baseband, you don't have your LTE back, then you know what you gotta do.

LTE = 4G. And no is a problem. 4G/LTE (Fourth Generation / Long Term Evolution) is the next stage in mobile network development and provides users with much faster data speeds than 3G is able to. Custom Rom Creator can build 4g icon or LTE icon but its same

N9005 won't pick up 3G networks

Hi guys,
My actual phone info:
Bought with JB Stock Vodafone from Spain
Imei unlocked
Updated over OTA to kitkat
rooted via CF auto root.
Knox tripped
Phone info:
XXUENA6
XXUENA2
VFGENA4
For a week, I looked all over XDA forums, read all threads but I still can't find a solution for my n9005 problem.
Here it is: I bought one in Spain, imei unlocked it to use it Morocco. Everything worked just fine and I could use gsm network with a sim from IAM (Moroccan Provider). I then set up mobile APN to have 3G, made sure my sim is 3g enabled, but the phone refused to pick up the 3g signal. I checked the phone's mobile network settings, and found that I haf only 2 options: gsm/wcdma automatic, and wcdma only options.
Well, since Maroc Telecom(IAM) isn't offering a 4G coverage yet, I think that's normal not to have the 4g option. Still, When I use the automatic option I only get 2g signal (and can read my mails over gprs, get twitter notifications, but no internet via browser, etc..).
When I choose Wcdma only option, I simply have no network signal at all.
When searching manually for networks, I get all 3 moroccan's providers but only their 2g networks.
I was prompted for the kitkat update via OTA, updated but it didn't solve the unavailable 3g problem(and caused a few others I managed to solve).
Now, I rooted my n9005 using cf auto root, and off course tripped knox, tried to reset the phone many times, but still no way to have a 3g signal.
Thought about installing a compatible Rom, but I am a newbie, coming from the Apple world, and need some help with this.
Actually, it amuses me that I really waited until android started to ressemble to IOS to decide to switch once for all to Android
Please guys, if you have any idea to help me get the 3G signal, that would be awsome.
Thank you in advance.

[Q] i9505 LTE-Only / ServiceMode

I'm trying to get my S4 to LTE only mode so it will accept non whitelisted LTE networks. This used to be possible with an app called "ServiceMode Shortcut", but it seems this is no longer supported in the new rom.
Does any of you know how to get there in 4.4?

Flash ME2 modem mate then , set it up and reflash latest modem once again. Im on 4.4.2 and in order for me to activate HD voice i need to flash mk2 modem and go to dialer and dial those number ie: *#0011# in order to reach HD voice settings and reflash the latest modem
Thanks for the reply.
Does it still work in the GE rom? I don't mind installing that ... I really need it to be easily switchable. I use this phone in a work environment where I also do a lot testing on 2G, 3G and 4G networks. Otherwise I might just downgrade.

Imperium 12 on SGH-i337h / Fido Canada

Just wondering if someone might be able to help. I've had on CM12.1 before but decided to give Imperium 12 a try on my Fido Canada / Samsung S4 (i337h rooted) Everything seemed pretty awesome, stable and good battery life. I'm usually on Wifi but then I tried using LTE data and realized mobile data does not work! I've looked under APN etc and on a matching S4 (with stock s4 samsung rom we also own) it looks identical, it just wont work on mine. What would be a good place to start? is there a logfile somewhere I could check? is there a special # to dial to check APN connection etc?
Is the phone running an up-to-date modem and bootloader?

You can get unstable LTE on nexus 4 I never got it to work properly you have to flash a hybrid modem/radio zip in a custom recovery to get LTE and make sure build prop is set up for LTE and make sure APN is set up for LTE and make sure ROM supports LTE
I've used at&t and T-Mobile neither seem to work properly with nexus 4 LTE
Idk how else to help have fun trying to get it to work

Does Lineage support LTE?
I have a hybrid radio and I edited the build.prop to enable it and then I set the phone to LTE in the "Phone Info" settings and the APN is set to fast.t-mobile.com, but it just connects to HSDPA anyway.
