Galaxy Gear/HTC One, 70% functional - One (M7) General

After xda member "Clifford's" find that his GGW connected to his HTC One with only s-voice not functioning, I had to investigate.
I tried many, many custom Roms (see my post under Galaxy Gear), only to give one last try to ”RayGlobe 8.0”.
As usual, the last one worked....sort of. I have about 70% functionality with this ROM.
Any devs wanna give this a shot?

SuperNova Rom

Please tell me someone is interested in updating the SuperNova Rom to EC05. This is my favorite rom by far. Any takers out there?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA Premium App
The original developer is the only person who should be updating it, or in the event they have moved on to other projects they should be contacted by someone who wishes to take charge of it.
Also, what happened to Quantum ROM?
???
If you want to know why a ROM hasn't been updated ask the Dev.
Well in hopes that Nova sees this, I couldn't agree more. I tend to float between Supernova and Midnight, but I really love the theming work and little touches Nova puts into his Rom.
Nova, lets hope you're hiatus isn't permanent!
People, instead of bumping this thread endlessly, send a developer a PM if you really want to know if there are going to be anymore updates to a ROM.

I'm on Lightning Rom 6.1. Battery usage depends on which kernel you use. My best is Jeffrey Speefrey 3.0.0 Rv
I dont mean to be rude, but these wrong posts in the wrong area is getting ridiculous. Please READ! Not only are you asking something that has been asked several times in the last few days but also putting it in the dev section. Again, not just you, but SOOO many others as well! Hacre rubs me the wrong way sometimes but I understand where he is coming on certain things.

I have changed so many custom roms and I found that THIS rom is absolutely perfect. It is super smooth, no lag, no fancy -bad looking- theme, and battery is outstanding!! At least 30% more battery than any other custom rom, and 50% more than stock roms!

I don't support XDA on that but yes, creating a lots of threads on the same topic does clutter the forum. Still, plenty of people, like me, have no time to check all those ROMs, nor interest, and it's common that someone wanna have a view on a particular ROM or the one which majority of people think is the best, that'd called 'feedback'! There should be a sticky topic listing all the Custom ROMs and voting should be listed there so that one can see and judge a ROM by the majority of voting.

The best ROM is the one that works best for you. Try a few and decide for yourself.

Free Nexus One for a developer

I have a nexus one running ICS. The phone is in good condition the only thing is it has broken power button but the pulling the battery trick works. I want to give the phone away to one of the developers so they can using for testing or whatever. Saying that you are developer without any work posted here on forums will not work. First one to post can have it. It comes with charger and I just put the new OEM battery cover. Please vote.
I'll throw in the 8GB card as well.
Thanks
I don't know how to edit the poll to include INESTAIN but so far he's got 2 votes. Just post post here if you are voting for INESTAIN and I'll keep track. Voting is going to end at 5pm EST today.
Voting is over now, there were 60 votes and zyr3x had the most votes. zyr3x please PM me your address.
Thanks to everyone that voted.
hi,
i would really apreciate if you give it to me for further development here on sense roms. thanks

Good idea :good:
I vote for zyr3x because he recently broke N1 and can't test the new ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1650686
My vote goes to a sense rom developer because we currently have two good ICS ROMS, which are good enough to be called daily drivers (Texasice and Dk zero cool). On the other hand, most of our sense rom developers either have no nexus one, or it's defective, therefore it's halting the process of bringing sense 4 to our nexus one.
Can you guys throw couple names and I'll set the poll and by end of day tomorrow whoever gets the most votes will get it. It seems that zyr3x could really use it but lets what see you guys think.
I can fix the power button and ship it to winning developer.
list of devs who would benefit from a donated nexus1 ( not in any order )
-shaky
-texas
-dkcool zero
-zyr3x
OP should setup a poll to let the community vote on the dev of choice.
of course any dev can withdraw the voting if he/she desires to
Poll posted, please vote.

In my opinion this is correct take a look for example at the BCM ICS dk king is doing a version very very good job at creating a nexus one rom by testing on his desire
my vote for zyr3x coz he broke his nexus for who ? .for us, people around here in this forum, so he truly deserves it

[links] ★ HOW I LEARNED TO BUILD MY JDEVIL ROMS SERIES★

HERE IS THE UNOFFICIAL 1, 000, 000, GUIDE MADE. BUT MADE MY WAY WITH HOPEFULLY WORDS OF MOTIVATION
Note# I will first off state that I want to be a dev one day (Like Nunhugger ). So I read and learn as much as I can. I get comments and inboxes from people saying they wish they knew how to make a custom rom. Lets get to some real talk. I am an uneducated man. I have no diploma or degree and I was able to compile my own series of Roms. 4 years ago the terms widgit, live wall paper, Linux, Ubuntu, toggles, etc was foreign to me. TIGERZ0202 introduced me to ANDROID and I had a Blackberry and didn't have a clue how to even work it. So don't tell me you can't build your own ROM. If I can you can. These are the guides that led me to where I am today. It takes time it takes patience. It took me months of bricking my phone as you have to test your own work. I soft bricked my phone over 40 times and finally hard bricked it and had to get another due to my lack of knowledge and trial and error. But I was determined I was going to do this. So here are some links that taught me. I'll add many from week to week. There are many people from noobs to veterans on this site. There are many young users such as my son who is 10. But knows how to flash a rom because he was taught and has an interest. Many kids such as my son just don't do a search of the forums (young child, lack of knowledge) If you are not willing to study out of the links I provide you are wasting your time. I do bodybuilding shows from time to time and its just like this YOU HAVE TO BE DETERMINED!!!! YOU HAVE TO WANT IT AND READ !!!! JUST GET FOCUSED AND DO IT MY FELLOW XDA MEMBERS Hope these links will lead to some new Roms out there for the greater good .

Sorry but this is so stupid thread.
U should try at least few 4.3 roms and play with them see which one is more suitable for u.

Might be a fair question but comparison threads are frowned upon and get shut down.
Developers all work hard and we wouldn't want a thread that takes a crap on anyone's hard work right?

Hi Guys,
By asking the question I in no way mean to be disrespectful toward the developers. On the contrary am in awe and in great admiration of them. And when possible have even contributed to "buying them a few beers" .
I merely ask the question coz I would want to install a stable and good performing ROM in the my phone. I could ofcourse download each one and test them out but isn't it the very point of having a forum such as this to help fellow ROM users choose the best and get the best out of their phone.
As regards comparisons I think the developers should not be too sensitive as comparisons are a review of their work and if they have put out ROMs in a public forum for the use of the public then feedback and review should be welcomed. Nothing wrong in pointing out if a certain ROM functions better than another in certain aspects. I have seen many posts that say that a certain kernel provides better performance or battery life compared to another and I dont ever see any criticisms of such comparisons but when it comes to asking or giving the same kind of comments bout a ROM we see people get really touchy on the subject. I dont think saying a particular ROM functions better than another is in anyway being disrespectful or be-belittling the work done by them.
There are 3 roms out there of 4.3 leak MI6,MJ2,MJ5..
I tried 2 of them MI6 and MJ2
MI6 has 2 main bugs i.e keyboard swype doesn't work and google acc dissappearing bug after every boot but MI6 has best battery I had after 4.1.1 roms.
MJ2 is newer and has some bug fixes mentioned above but its battery life for me is less than MI6.
so my vote goes to MI6 though now I am on dr.ketan v3 rom which is mix of all these 3 roms and thinking to switch to MJ5 to test it...
and one more thing MJ2 and MJ5 have knox bootloader so better first read every instruction before doing anything...
This MJ5 is stable and free of Knox
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2494460
I've played about with a couple of roms now and must say I'm very very impressed with the dirty unicorns unofficial 4.3.1 for the note 2 LTE, very fast, stable, and great battery life.

Then it's best if you could list aspects and functions you consider important. Am on Dr. Ketan 4.3V3.
For me call recording is a must and now ability to export sms from the stock messaging app is a plus. I have gotten close to 4.5 hours screen time coupled with crazy browsing and FB. I find magazine app quite annoying.

Well you're wrong.
These types of threads, ie "what is best" or "What is most stable" threads are not allowed because they are just opinions and best/stable are subjective.
If you want to answer these questions you need to try some roms and do it yourself.
