LG G2 Korean Model - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have been trying to figure this out but am unable to. Hopefully one of the forum members could assist me. Is the Korean G2 able to be used on USA AT&T networks? I know I will not get LTE speeds but am more interested in 4G and normal HSPA. If anyone could shine some light on this, it would be great!

You will only get hsdpa and not lte.. . But please check my other thread.

its not possible. ns4g was made for sprint specifically because it is a CDMA network. T-mobile operates on the more common GSM network.
You might be able to get it on Boost Mobile, and I've seen a thread about getting it to work on Metro PCS although it was pretty dodgy and I dont believe you even get 3g with that.

Ignore the first one as that is wifi..
Battery life, seems good to me so far, varies on each build of the custom ROM, as in gets better each time. I get a full day easily.

The second one is WiFi quick.
Once coverage spreads and the price drops by at least 50% I'll have some 4G but until then? Thanks to all the early adopters :good:
yeah it is stupid have 4g now on EE..

Bro, could you please let this be a global 4G LTE thread? It would be nice to see how everyone speed differ around the world right? Many people have global devices that can work on many different countries LTE network.
Anyways, if you choose to do so please change the thread title
Oh, global 3G speed tests wouldn't be bad either.
Thanks in advance

.33 yes, or .27 too, but only if they support band 4 lte. most dont support band 4, its new. tmobile supports it, a few canadian companies support it, and att in very very limitted lications support it. i have a feeling that koodo doesnt support it.

just like any other radio, there exists many different frequencies. your htc could have been made to support your lte frequency, band 4 isnt very common. call and ask your provider if they support band 4. if they say they dont know what that is, then they dont support it.
thanks

It can be unlocked to work on Tmobile in some markets depending on what frequencies are available where you live. I am currently using my SPH-L720 on tmobile in PHX AZ . Some users have reported Net10 working and others ATT but I have never investigated this. If you want to see how it works I have compiled a guide that outlines the steps I took to make it work on Tmobile. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2530610 Also look in the International SIM unlock thread in Development and the GSM data thread in general for further tips.
Also I'm sure it can be flashed to boost you just need the PRL file to flash. Check out this thread.

No need to bump after only half an hour.
Tell us more about your dataplan, is it 3G, 4G? It may possibly be a misconfiguration. I know I've dealt with them, too; it may be similar for you. Maybe your ISP/Carrier has a manual on how to properly configure your specific model. Most carriers have them online.
the att variant i get 40+mb/s on speedtest. and downloading is quick.
may be the tmobile variant that is slow. i was with them before and only got 8mb/s.
It's regular 3g nothing special about it,btw the device midel is d802.
Sent from my LG-D802 using xda app-developers app
The speed is usually 1mbps but it should be 5mbps.

Weird, my d802 works fine on 3G, I have a 14,4Mbps plan and I usually get around those speeds, unless I have a bad signal. So it can't be the model. It might be just yours, or a misconfiguration as I said earlier.
I'd definitely at least take it to a carrier shop or servicepoint where they might be able to help you diagnose the problem further, if their internet site doesn't have any configuration pointers.
I will do it thanks.
