Today, I was resting to move the phone when suddenly restarted alone and now is only the start menu (like when you turn on your mobile phone for the first time and we have to create / per gmail account etc etc we have).
I even created another new account just to see if it worked and nickles!

I've the same problem. It was all well until yesterday. My case is even worse than you. The error message appear every time and xda II disconnects itself. I can do any activesync right now.
Have tried soft reset, delete and recreate partnership. Don't really want to hard reset unless I have no choice.
I have found out that my problem was caused by installing a trial version of the CEBook Reader 3.5.
What I have done is restore from Xcopy, this copy was done before installing the software above, which works fine. Once I install the software, the problem comes back.
So be careful !
seems its a problem of networking.. If you are using a Proxy server, then specify that in your MS outlook settings. :?

dear all
most of the times my phone can not show the contact list . in my recent cals I can find them name so it means th contact list can sun but when I press the contact button it sows me a white page . after 10 to 15 times reset it will be ok .
what is going on to my phone !!!!!! help me guys

Which version of the phone are you using ? Which ROM ?
Where are your contacts saved ? In your sim card, or in the phone memory ?
Help people help you : provide relevant information.
Anyway, if it eventually works after a bunch of resets, it has to be a bug / conflict on your device.
my rom is the original one :6.1
and my contacts are on my phone , this problem is gong to choose one : kill myself or kill my ohone .
maybe a hard reset can help but I dont know how to make it . please help guys
if you hard reset your phone you're going to erase everything stored on your device (including your contacts).
i've seen this problem on my old elf with a 6.1 rom, and the solution for that device (in my case) was to kill the contacts process, soft reset, launch contacts again.
or you could try syncing everything to your PC first, then hard reset and sync everything back. be careful about conflict resolution options on which overrides which.

first of all , hope to put this issue in the correct forum path....
my friend has a problem with the Pro2, as you can see by the attach , concerning the keyboard password lock.
His password doesn't works and also performing all the reset type , after the reboot the mobile starts with the keyboard locked (only emergency number is possible call).
he has reported me that at the first time, the mobile has gave to him an alphanumeric code to try to unlock the code but it doesn't solved the issue.
probably re-installing the software (6.5) the problem is solved but he doesn't want loss the date / appointments due the fact he has a doctor.
please help us.

Did he ever use Activesync or Google Sync? If he did, most of his information sould be saved that way. Also, you may want to try doing a hard reset but only after exausting all attempts to back your data up. Send a couple of PM to Senior memebers or Moderators, you might get some help that way!!

principal problem is that is not possible connect the mobile to pc in order to use activesync or other program due the fact the mobile is locked....and not save data has been performed before....
Double chack that his SIM card is in correctly.
Same exact thing happened to me. My phone battery was at about 10% and when I tried the password that I had set... it didn't work. This made me frantic and very ticked off. I had a ROM on my SD card so i just reflashed from there. Since then I always install a different locking app then the stock one. I just can't trust it. So I think youre only option is to hard reset and hopefully your contacts are saved to the SIM so they won't be deleted.

I have one issue when attempting to config email exchange (corporate). after the first config screen (passed), I do no tick the option "download attachements" BUT when finalizing the account set up and first sync, ALL the attachements are downloaded! Then I tried to go back to the account parameters to check the option, but the relevant parameter (in general parameters) is not available (I do have this parameter in my other mail account)!
I have another account (FREE.FR mail which is ok , ie the attachement option can be selected or not). I have tried to erase / create the account several times, but nothing changes...
I did also an hard & soft reboot, nothing change... Of cours Acer technical assistance is useless.
To be clear, the email was working for weeks but I had a pop up "shutdown of precessus com.android.exchange" a lot of times and this pushed me to discard the account. Since this time, I am in the exposed situation.

- touchdoxn : is running well (even if I prefer the layout of the native mailbox)
- I tried to copy / PAste (email & exchange apk" from another ROM but useless since I am not rooted...

I have rooted my note 4 n910c marshmallow .. And have enable multiuser by edit in build ..
What problem i am facing is adding new user can add but setup wizard stopped when tap finish for finish setup..
But gust user is workin fine..
Only new user profile setup problem.. Cant complete it says when click on finish " unfortunatily samsung setup wizard has stopped.." when clik ok it get start from 1st step and again and again same...
primary user is working fine.. gust as well.. only cant finish new user setup..
i have even try hard rest.. as well as i take back up of stock rome wipe with twrp and again try but same problem each time for new user profile setup..

Hello I found the problem with (samsung setup wizard) that is prevent to setup a new user
so to fix that it:
finish every thing as in first post and by install Titanium Backup and then uninstall (samsung setup wizard)
Everything will go in normal way
