I have air gesture turned on, and 'air jump' is on in the sub-menu, where it says "Scroll web pages in screen sized jumps".
But it doesn't work, and the symbol doesn't appear in the status bar either. It works fine in gallery so it's not hardware fault.
Can someone test to see if this is just a bug? I'm on stock unbranded UK firmware XXUBMJ1

Has anyone gotten this to work? When my Note 3 (Canadian SM-N900W8) was on the stock rom i couldn't get Air Jump to work with the stock browser. I am now on a custom rom (DarthStalker) and prior to this rom i was on X-Note and Air Jump Still didn't work. Did anyone figure out how to make it work?? As I think maybe its something simple like a line of code that needs to be enabled. In the Note 3 manual it tells you that you can use Air Jump with the browser but in the phone it only says you can use it with the email app (Stock ONLY). I used this quite frequently on my S4 So its a shame its not working on the Note 3.

Hi, can anyone provide a solution to this problem??
Air gesture does not work in the stock browser. It is not supported in the browser that came with the phone. You need Chrome, Firefox, or Dolphin. It does work in your gallery however and in other apps that use paging.
One more f'up on Samsungs behalf,.

Works for me, but only in Portrait mode from left to right, or right to left. The sensor does not seem to work in landscape mode since it was designed to see a hand that passes across it in not away from it.

I'm sure the browser supports it in all of our note three variants. Does anybody know if there is like a plist file, or a build.prop file for the stock browser that we can go into and see if there is an option to enable air gesture?

Does anyone have an S4 that they can pull the Browser app from to try it on Note 3 with?
Hey guys, as you know in my Note 3 settings under "Air-Jump" it did NOT show web-pages as supported and only emails as supported. Last night i upgraded my Note 3 (SM-N900W8, Rogers) from Android 4.3 to the Mexican N900W8 Note 3 Android 4.4.2. Anyways, when i went into the "Air-Jump" menu it now SHOWED Webpages as supported!!! I click the "Try" button and it opened up a mock webpage where i could test this feature & showed the air-jump icon in the status bar AND >>>>>>> IT DID WORK. Super excited that i was, i opened up the stock samsung browswer and bam ......... the gestures didnt work! The app by default is full screen and when i slide down the status bar to see if the "Air-Gesture" icon was there it wasnt. Anyone have any ideas on whats going on and preventing the air-jump feature from working??

maybe because the Korean version is already released, it has a newer version witch supports this feature, and the intl' will also support it.
but its not based on anything.. only me :cyclops:
I also think that the craftsmen will find a way)
That will be really disappointing if its only on the Korean Note 2.
After watching the videos of it yesterday I was definitely going to purchase the Galaxy Note 2 on launch day in the UK. But if its not a supported feature in the EU/N7100 models then I think I will hold off.
The multiscreen feature is also available in hong kong's note 2, which is an international version.

Sms is present as an option. in the first video, i can see the sms icon below the gallery icon. Samsung should be highlighting that feature because it brings a desktop like view to the note. Definitely ordering now. was going to wait to see the new nexus and features of the next version of Android, but this just sealed the decision.

My mistake, I'm using 'ultimate rotation control'.
It works great on my galaxy note 1.
One of the big reasons I'm using it is it allows 180 degree rotation so I'm not always hitting the capacitive buttons.

That is an amazing feature but of all the Note 2 videos I have seen, it's the first one I have seen that has that (half-circular) tab on the left side of the screen. Looks like it's brought up by holding the 'back button'. I wonder if its just that no one knows about this 'shortcut' to open this feature. Or could this be an updated version of TouchWiz we are seeing?
I think you can enable the multi-window from the settings, because it make sense that not everybody want to have the half circle on left border by default.
Lets hope it is available in the international version
So are we saying that stock launcher on note 2 doesnt rotate landscape??

Check out the thread that Royalmath.. Posted above. It looks like there are instructions there. I also found the browser from the Google Play edition that will work too. Problem that I am having is that because I use a case on my phone and the S4 bezels are soo thin the thumb controls don't work too well because my case doesn't allow me to swipe from the edge cleanly. Vs the Note 2 or S3 which had thicker bezels and I had no issues at all.

I have the S4 and I use the stock browser (not Chrome), it has the quick controls (settings/Labs/ enable Quick Controls). You can also install Flash for it.
I really don't understand why the others browsers don't use Quick/Pies controls... that's the only reason why I still use the stock browser/AOSP browser.

It would be nice to see this incorporated into a Web browser and home launcher. Hover over a folder to see contents, hover over messaging icon to see last few messages, etc. It could be infinitely handy in a browser though.

It works in the stock samsung web browser, of course you have to enable it in air gestures.
I think its on the bottom?
When you hover over text it will give you a little pop up zoom in of the text, similar to when you press somewhere with more than one link and a pop up appears so you can make a more precise link click.

I think this thread is about Air View, the feature you see in Gallery if you hover your finger over a category. I've accidentally glitched it to be forced ON for all apps on my S5 for about 2 hours. (Went away after a reboot... ) It worked EVERYWHERE. Chrome (mouseover menus on websites!!!) and Google Launcher (only got tooltips for long app names, nothing else) to name just a couple. I'm thinking that Samsung just triggers part of Android's built-in USB mouse code... Maybe we can duplicate my accident with Xposed...?
Just got my new note 3 today (sim free N9005) and I don't like the stock browser as compared to my note 2. I found the browser to be loading slower, pages are not zoomed properly, kinetic scrolling is not as responsive and for some really strange reason when I click at a picture on mobile version of Facebook website, it is displayed very small in size. Chrome does not seem to suffer from this problem. Can anyone else please confirm these performance issues and possibly suggest solutions. I am really annoyed because of stock browser's performance and miss my note 2.

Turns out it appears to work for the Note 4 Marshmellow users as well. I've been using it for only a little bit, one change I noticed is that it removes the Sprint branding in the upper left without requiring root. I searched for the app in Galaxy Apps, it wasn't available there, but you can download the apk attached to this post
The recent apps feature is pretty terrible, but it's something different you guys can try.
EDIT: I tried this with the fingerprint scanner, it made me not able to get past the lock screen, all I saw was a blank wallpaper. I guess it works on the Note 4 but not optimized for it. I was able to finally get past it by clicking on the notifications, messing with the settings on GoodLock, causing it to crash, and then my phone rebooted with it uninstalled.

CAREFUL!! I just set up finger print scanner with this to see how it functions, now I can't get past the lock screen, all I see is my wallpaper, even in safe mode, I might have to do a hard reset :\
Edit: finally got past the fingerprint scanner after the app crashed and made my phone reboot, and then gave me the option to type in the password instead. It worked great prior to setting that portion up though, so mixed feelings about it so far.

not really imo, apart from letting you group notifications and setting alerts for them, and making the notification pull down menu look closer to stock android.

I am missing the wifi calling on quick settings already, however.
Three options in the settings. Uninstall is one of them

Alright, well, I jumped back on board to see if I could make this work for me. What I did was install the APK as usual and then used TB to delete the system UI (launcher). Since I use NOVA anyway, I also deleted TouchWiz and TouchWiz Easy crap... This setup has me running faster and with better battery life than ever before! Can't wait for a kernel for this MM situation!

How did you delete systemui? Isn't that the main android system?
