Hello you guys,
I was wondering if I am the only one where knock-off doesn't work in Nova Launcher? Knock-on works great though.
Should I contact the Nova devs or is here anyone who knows them by chance?
It does when you tap status bar, top bar.

Knock off only works with the stock launcher. You need to setup the double tap gesture in Nova to either launch a Tasker task, or the screen off app.
Thank you guys, that helped a lot!
Or use this app and a gesture in Nova to be able to "Knock Off" anywhere on the screen.

I tried using apex launcher and could not find a way to continue to utilize the knock on feature. Has anyone else had luck with this?

Assume you mean to turn screen off as turning it on should work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2441027
Use the gesture of apex launcher with double tap at home screen and combine it with any app that have ability to turn off the screen. I used GMD combine with apex and it works great
Is this working for anyone with Nova Launcher installed?

It works for turning the phone on. For turning it off, you have to double-tap the notification bar.

You can assign double tap gesture to screen off app from Play Store. Assuming you have gestures in Apex. I'm using Nova Prime.

What is the app called? Apex has double tap gestures but no option for screen off.

I'm using this one because it doesn't mess with lock timeout. Assign shortcut to double tap. Chose second (lower) shortcut. Of course, first step is to enable app. Enjoy

Install an app called "lockscreen" from the market. Open it once and you an lose it. Now open nova settings and goto gestures, double tap, and set it to an application (the lockscreen one you just installed). Now when you double tap it should lock.

Search g2 forum for nova and knock....
I used a program called "turn off the screen" and then set nova's double tap gesture to launch it.

So I'm setting up my new phone, and noticed something frustrating. Using Xposed I shortened the nav bar size, and had to install a launcher to mitigate that unsightly gap that resulted. Having had and loved Apex Launcher on my old Rezound, I installed it here. Problem solved.
Until I discovered that I can't set the double tap back to shutting off the screen. Which is a bummer because it was so handy to double tap and shut the screen off.
Anyone run into this and what's your fix?
I found a workaround if anyone is interested. Lock Screen App by Kenneth Cheng. Use it as a app shortcut for a double tap to lock the screen. Double tap to unlock/wake up still works fine.

Thanks! Apex launcher is the best!
Knock on still works on status bar regardless of launcher.

With a 3rd party launcher like Apex, Nova, etc. installed, just double tap the status bar.

Hi.
Can use any launcher with gestures (i.e. Nova).
Knock on is working.
Use gesture "doubble tap" and App "screen off and lock".
Working.
I prefer Screen Off by icillin. Very low profile, no battery drain, works like a charm.

Thanks all for your replies. the doubletapping of the statusbar works to lock perfectly
Cheers!
I believe if you knock status bar in apex launcher it will work. It works on nova.

Knock on and knock off are working fine for me on Action Launcher.
Also, theres a knock off mod for xposed if it doesnt work on default.
