I realy need your help on my problems with the G2 32GB D802.
I bought it on ebay and instead of getting it from GB it came from HongKong and I didn't think about it that it does not have a european ROM.
First I wanted to root and flash custom recovery and cloudyG3 rom. After rooting with ioroot and installing the TWRP I stuck in the fastboot mode. First problem I did not make a backup because I never reached TWRP. Download mode only appeared for a second an then disappeared again.
After a lot of searching I found that probably the 802autorec.apk was wrong, since I don't have a european model. So I installed via fastboot a laf.img for a D800. After that the download mode was working again and I installed different roms via flashtool2014. The installation worked again but after rebooting the phone I had a lot of trouble with it. That the reason for trying different roms as I sad befor.
First, the fingertip points at different areas of the screen but not there where you are touching the screen. So you can not reach the buttons or write on the keyboard.
Second, after connection to pc I recognized that my 32GB model had only 10GB internal memory.
Finaly I can not use the phone. For me it seems that I burned my partitions and need your help to get it right again.
Please give me a chance.

p.s.: I tried to go to the settings menu in the phone and reached it after a lot of confusing taps on the screen. All the phones informations like IMEI and all the other disappeared. Something realy went wrong with it.

I have the same problem. Bought LG G2 D802, wifi connection was weak. I downloaded Lg PC Suite and upgraded the system. After upgrade have the same touchscreen problem. Have tested for 5-6 firmwares, but the problem is.
Do not exactly know what firmware need to install.
Please help us.

I now have the answer from the dealer that my G2 has the Firmware D80220B.
Just try and test it. Good luck.

I walked one step forward now.
But there is still no solution for my problem. I found a link to LG "http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=IMEI" to get the information about the version of my stock ROM. Just replace IMEI by your real number and you will get it.
In the meantime I flashed the rom with flashtool but the screen behaviour is still the same.
I later rooted the phone with towleroot and then installed the correct autorek.apk for the D802. That worked properly. I reached TWRP but in fact of the weired screen behaviour I couldnt do something. I tried to fix my IMEI problem with QPST but this tool showed only empty tables on my PC when I connected my G2 with usb.
I tried an update of the screen firmware as posted above. The code that has to be entered on the dialer is 3845#*802# but it wont work for me since I can't enter "settings" the service menu. That's because of the weired behaviour.

I now was able to enter the hidden menu. And I was able to get to the menu point "update touch firmware" but nothing happend.
What is wrong?

It's because its a Refurbished Models..
You have to check your Mother board for exact Model

I tear off my set & found several things
1. My back cover, settings > Software info & booklets shows it D802, while internal plastic is labeled as D800 & Motherboard is D801 T-Mobile. Look like some company is selling T-Mobile as D802.
I read it on this forum that if flash D802 rom on T-Mobile D801, then need to reload Kernels of D801 too after flashing D802 rom. I tried flashing D801 kernel in recovery mod but it gives error "E invalid certificates" or something like this, I also tried flashing D801 stock rom, but LG Flash Tools 2014 gives error at 2% (Phone disconnection & sometime "Connection to server failed"), however, LG Flash Tools flash D802 without any issue.
Now, can someone tell me how to flash D801 kernels after flashing D802 rom? Or how can I flash stock D801 rom?

I am facing quite odd problems. please help me.
I have LG G2 D802. My software version was d80220b while when I attached my mobile with pc, pc suite notify me that d80220c is available. I upgraded. But after upgrading, touch is totally out of work. Say like below, I tap "7" & it goes to 2, 3 etc. I select say first option, it selects 4th option.
Also, one more thing, my mobile is 32gb variant, while now it's showing only 10.7gb.
Three Problems total
1. Touch totally disturbed
2. Storage reduced from 32gb to 10.75gb
3. Service Disabled (No sim is working :'(
I think it's due to some rom issue, can you please guide me or send me link for the correct ROM for my mobile?

HI Kernol,
I have done it like 5 times, I flash stock rom & hard factory reset but still same.
There was not a single touch issue in the last 2-3 weeks, but it immediately happened on OTA upgrade & on start/configuration screen

try install a custom rom
may problem ur stock g2 version or something in kernel or baseband or touch drivers

I tried many custom roms, but they are in .zip instead of kdz file
Can you please let me know how can I reload them? I am using LG Flash Tool 2014 which supports kdz only. I can stuck at configuration windows just after LG Logo. So, cannot access anything in mobile like Developer tools etc

u can't reload this at this moment
only way to fix this its only by kdz
but whats rom version u have before installing update
& u tried to flash kdz version u have in ur phone before ?

Now, I have tried both d80220b & d80220c downloaded from links posted in last post but I am still having same problem :'(

Try to update the touch drivers, just dial 3845#*802# go to settings and then update touch firmware

Do you have a Bluetooth mouse? Or do you have a chance to connect via lg on screen phone?

Hello, i decided today i wanted to go from 4.2.2 to 5.0.2 (mistype in title) on my D802 LG G2. Phone running stock with root but read up on it and people (xda for example) said the only thing that would happen was a loss of root, which didn't bother me that much. Fast forward to update completed and now the majority of my memory space on my 32GB LG G2 is gone. Going in to Settings > Storage it shows "Total space 32GB", and "Available 6.69GB". Looking further into it, going in to "Misc", there "System Data" taking up 21.86GB, which seems way more than it would have too.
I upgraded via the LG Mobile Support Tool from here: http://www.lg.com/uk/support-mobile/lg-D802 and everything is working, expect the storage space issue.
Connecting the phone to my computer it says internal storage is 10.6GB, which leads me to believe somehow i've gotten the 16GB firmware, question is how since i upgraded via the LG Tool? The only weird thing is that the phone says in settings that total storage is 32GB.
So what is there to do now?

Something went wrong with the LG update, used this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50790181&postcount=49 and all is working well now.

I recently bought this phone and it already had a problem on the last OTA update, a network trouble which didn't let the phone get the sim network working, so I flashed a firmware from here which was pre-rooted.
Everything is working fine, less the apps which everytime I install/uninstall causes the phone to restart almost EVERYTIME...
Plus the storage so poor (4GB) already full, I have Link2SD installed but I can't install directly on the SD, only on the phone storage, what is impossible already.
Hope somebody can help with this, i'm not a pro but neither a newbie.

Hi guys! I've recently update to Marshmallow my LG Leon but now system data ocupies 5Gb and I have no space to install more apps... I know a friend of mine happened the same with a LG G2 when he updated the phone but he could'n solve it. I believe it's trash files from the update but I would like to know if it happens to you and how to solve it. Also is there anyone who knows how fresh install a new ROM (international) without the Vodafone bloatware?? I know some tried but the phone detects its not the vodafone one and stars to show an error message...

Same here... "System Data" taking 4.54GB of internal storage.
Have you ever resolved that issue?
I've never managed to solve it. It seems its a common problem of LG's phones...
