I want to get the F320 (because it has a micro SD and removable battery)
However, I assume the normal version (3000 mah sealed battery) will be more popular, so will have more ROMS
Will those ROMS, also work on the F320?
Thanks
Nope

Ive recently noticed that my battery runs out very quickly, it is totally drained in 2 hours with moderate to heavy use (excluding gaming)
I though it was the rom at first but I'm not totally sure because the battery used to make to through the day but now it totally sucks
I want to know if its the rom or battery, I'm currently using 3.0 SDSL

Must be hardware related problem I think. But you could backup and try a different ROM..

Well I've had the battery for 2 years now, so maybe I need a new one,

Try to wipe battery status using cwm in emergency mode after fully discharging or use battery calibration tool from play store.
it helped me.
Does anybody know if a custom ROM is capable of freeing up some of that 7GB that Samsung has locked up from us?

As of now, no.
We need a dev to redo our partition layout in their Rom...than and only than will we gain or lose space according to how the new partition is done

This question comes up a lot but so far I haven't seen anyone begin to address it. My sense is that only after the custom ROMs start to stabilize will more research be put into how to change the partitioning and freeing up the space.
Custom ROMs such as CM take much less room than the stock Touchwiz.
is the battrry removable?

Sigh this would be a dream phone only if the battery was swappable.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using xda app-developers app
why would you need to swap the battery? it lasts me 2-3 days of use
I dont use wifi at all. So heavy use drains battery rather quickly. I dont like wall changers either.

Haven't used wifi on this phone due to T-Mobile's 40mbps LTE, It's literally impossible to blow through the whole battery in a day unless the screen is on for 12 hours. Generally it's around 60% battery when I go to bed after being off the charger for 14ish hours after a heavy use day.
Its worth acquiring the Korean model. F320K. It comes with 2 x 2600 mAh batteries and a docking station that allows the batter which is not in the phone to charge independently. It also has a microSD slot supoorting up to 64GB!

What networks can it run on?
http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_g2-5543.php and all versions of the phone have all these bands I believe, the Korean versions have LTE A as a bonus.
Doe T-mobile version come with removable battery and MicroSD slot?

Why would you want an s5 port? Slap cloudypro 2 rom on your g2 and your set. Thats what i run and check it out next to a s5. G2 4.4 vs S5: http://youtu.be/bJBOnHtuK9k

I used Galaxy S I and SIII and i flashed every custom Rom for these phones. Right now I use LG G2. In my opinion LG's android is better than Samsungs. There is not any single Samsung application i want it to be in LG.
Besides the camera, which is able to be on aosp, the rest of the OS isn't great. I'm already running Mahdi Rom, think it might be fun to mess with the new S5 is with the g2s hardware.

This post was to see about the potential of being able to bring a port over, not asking if like the phone more.....

Yes nothing is impossible though i dont think our devs will waste time porting a sammy rom. I'm a sammy fan before though.
